Lovely looking hotel and perfect location for golf but staff service is poor ! Nobody at the pool bars which were mostly closed so you had to go to bar by reception .The staff didn't do waiter service so had to order at the bar which takes forever . Also most days no towels were available for the pool which is poor for a 4/5 star hotel . Management need to sort this out 😢😢
22 of us visited for a golf / stag do. The facilities on the resort are first class. Lots of pools, sun loungers, tennis courts, footy pitches, gym and of course 2 golf courses. The rooms were large and very nicely laid out. For the price we paid the rooms were much better than expected. The only downside was the air con which didnt really cool the room despite being on full. We had brekkie each day where there was plenty of choice and room to sit. The toasting machines are rubbish though! The bar in the courtyard area served good food although service was slow when busy. The golf courses were nice but completely let down by the bunkers. They didnt have sand in. What was in was similar to wet cat litter and in most it wasnt that deep so playing out of them was nearly impossible and certain to damage your club. For a course with so many bunkers they really have taken the cheap option which ruins what could be a very good golf resort.
Super overall Offer. Very good facilities in unrivaled position for money. I would prefer to have an iron and ironing board . Great Heated Pool and the golfing facilities are excellent and offer a real challenge . Great to be near the chaos of Bennidorm but far enough away great views
Travelled here with 8 girlfriends for long weekend. The resort was beautiful though marred by slow reception & bar service. Special mention to Christobal who was excellent & seemed, at times, to be only member of staff. Rooms were spacious, clean & well appointed. Breakfast had lots of choices & was served in a great space overlooking one of the many pools. Pool areas were very quiet so lots of sunbeds available. All in all a very enjoyable stay.
Went for a friends birthday, even though I did have to go back 3 times with my room key as it wouldn't work, the staff were lovely the place is stunning just a but too fat out of benidorm, but €10 in a taxi is worth not having to drive...
Travelled her with 9 others all male - 8 golfers one non-golfer, similar experience with regard to the courses as others, the Poniente course was tight and short, a number of areas around the course and greens had been dug up by wild boar and as such looked a mess although you could see where the staff having been making repairs, we only played the Poniente once which was enough, some nice holes but fairly bland to be honest (to many par 3).The Levante we played twice and we all find it long and a test, very quick greens and some lovely looking holes, no wild boar problems, the only thing i would moan about was that as with both courses the bunkers are shale filled which is fine on the fairways but around the greens they really should have sand in them, almost impossible to try and hold the ball when playing out of the greenside bunkers and as such a potential card wrecker. The hotel I stayed in room 7023 and its was fine, good layout, rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels, no complaints whatsoever, we stayed on a B&B basis, the breakfast was fine, with a good selection of pretty much almost everything, no complaints, - the check in both arriving and departing was efficient and courteous, as many have said the Hotel could have done with more staff, more often than not we got our own drinks from the bar, we tended to have a couple before heading off most nights but they were very friendly and helpful, the waiting staff at the golf course were also very good and attentive even when under pressure, yes the Hotel is a little tired here and there but there is evidence of work going on and i have to say it was overall very clean, we enjoyed it and will return.
The spa and the view are the best of this hotel. There are many restaurants and the houses are pittoresque and very beautiful. Perfect for golf, sun or families, a couple getaway would also be perfect
Room was good. Had to hand it to the Cleaning staff and bar staff they were great. Bar was always understaffed but they managed to cope. Reception staff left alot to be desired. Half a conversation with you to pause and have a full conversation among themselves in Spanish then continue to answer your question when it suited them. Golf staff and bar staff in the club house were average at best! Had a chip on their shoulders. Cracking golf courses really enjoyable but someone needs to let the golf staff know It certainly isn't Augusta!
This was our 3rd time staying here and as usual the hotel is very clean and some of the the staff even remembered us from last year. The only bad thing is that check in time is very late. Breakfast as always is a big thing here and it is the best breakfast you can expect from any hotel. Another good stay.
I am currently writing this review 3 days into a 7 day stay. The hotel its facilities and two golf courses are impressive. So why is it that the management are allowing the hotel to fail. Quite simply the staff are very poor when it comes customer care. 1. On day one we stood for 40 minutes to check in. 2. Trying to get a waiter to clean a table BEFORE we can sit down for breakfast was again another 40 minutes. 3, when trying to get a drink at the bar we gave up at 20 minutes. 4, try and get towels for the sunbed. The guy who gave them out simply said " we have no more" then walked away. The staff don not smile . They ALL appear to be under stress and obviously lack support from there managers. So we have just had to do our own thing. Take towels from our room. Buy our own drinks from the supermarket. Clean our own tables.
