Fantastic for couples and families, loads of activities and really good entertainment, no need to leave the hotel. Food was amazing and the staff where lovely, I would highly recommend, only hotel I would go back to.

I'm just back from this hotel from the 11th visit , going back in October . Great hotel staff are the friendliest you,ll ever meet from the front desk to the cleaners. Hotel is always kept spotless and well kept . Food is a very good standard always plenty of choice and always kept topped up , and warm . The hotel location is excellent , close to shops and bars and quiet in evenings. Rooms are well furnished and clean , with English TV channels and sky sports, pool area can be busy in high season but always plenty of sunbeds, and fast bar service due to great staff many thanks Pedro sief Johnny Ian Victor viencinte. I have never found any fault with this hotel and can't wait to return in October, Thankyou to Juan in restaurant and recieption and Susanne Carron for sorting room out many thanks will be in touch soon. Lol. So to finish if you are going here enjoy you will not be disappointed and please respect the hard working staff they work hard and are always helpful. Thankyou Regente Ronnie love. Family

Hotel itself was nice ,sadly there was not a lot of things for kids to do, all they got was 20 to 30 minutes of a mini disco at night which the guy natxo was brilliant and really good with the kids think he could do with some help though as worked very hard, only 2 or 3 bar staff where nice and friendly the others where not happy looking and very rarely smiled .Reception staff where friendly and helpful, dining room staff where friendly and worked hard, food was good and always something to eat Could do with more children activities and more for them at night time some of the shows at nice where really good and some where not .Swimming pool was never opened for 9 am as it took the man forever to clean the pool but he did have to remove all the floats and that left by people the day before and very rarely got a lounger as people where out early putting down towels and then going away and leaving them

Food was very good with something to eat for everyone. Chefs always made sure there was plenty food on offer and if tray was empty was soon filled up. As per other posts - most of staff friendly but some grumpy ones as well. Meal time meeter and greeter and bar man at meal times were very friendly and credit towards hotel. As far as kids entertainment theres not much for kids. Natxo the entertainment guy does a great job but needs some help as kids only get 20mins to 30mins mini disco. Hotel was full of kids when we went. Entertainment team do a great job with different acts but a Sangria night is not for kids and not in my book entertainment. Would not recommend for families especially with wee ones. Pool too much floaty things in baby pool and usual towel carry on with people not using the sunbeds

Just got back from 7 nights at the regente, our group was made up of six ranging from 18 years to 68 years. The hotel is really clean, rooms are done daily and pool area is always clean. Nice stroll to the beach, when we went it was hot hot hot so lots of sun lotion needed. Beach is lovely however the sea is very rocky until you get quite a bit out so shoes are needed, the beach nearer old town didn't look so rocky. Pool area is clean, not very big but there is a sun terrace. There is a pool bar which is handy however they could consider opening it earlier as it doesn't open until about 11, yet Pool is busy before then. All inclusive you can only fetch two drinks which is annoying when there are more of you but it's understandable why they do it. We were not a fan of the food in the restaurant apart from the chilli that was gorgeous, but everybody has different tastes. There are some grumpy staff members but in the whole the rest were very friendly and it looked like just one man arranging the entertainment for the kids, he must put in some hours. Overall we enjoyed our stay I would go back again. The lifts are a nightmare if you need them you spend half the holiday waiting for them, and the sun beds are not adjustable which is a bit of a down side.

We visited for 5 days in July 2017 and was all inclusive. We were not let down by the food at all - found something that we liked every day/night and liked the buffet style, so that you could try things that maybe you weren't too sure of. I especially liked all the different salads they had on offer every day. The all inclusive includes snacks throughout the day, so if you miss any meals you can still get something. There's also ice creams and lollies, slush sex on the beach cocktails, beer is San Miguel on tap, house wine was OK, a good choice for all. The rooms are spacious enough for 2 (we had a twin room on the top floor - 9th), which had plenty of hanging space with hangers provided. The bathroom had a bath with shower over it, a toilet, a bidet and a sink. The bedroom area had a desk with chair and TV which showed several English channels, plus music channels. The balcony had a table with 2 chairs and a clothes drier, which was extremely useful. The only complaint we would have is the air con in our room wasn't great. It gave out a bit of cold air, but nothing like it should have, but we managed OK with it. The entertainment in the hotel was OK, aimed more towards families, but we still enjoyed it whilst using the all inclusive (which runs out at midnight). The sound system was not great, kept jumping from high to low, but was not a major issue. The entertainments team did work hard, it just wasn't for us. Most of the staff were very pleasant, a couple of them could learn how to smile, but they were not rude and just did their job - it was like they weren't really enjoying being their, but I suppose you get this everywhere. The hotel is in a great location - just 5 mins walk to Morgan Tavern on "the strip", and then a further couple of minutes to the beach. The beach is definitely worth a visit - costs €4.50 each sunbed and €4.50 each parasol each day. We walked into Old Town, which took about 40 mins, but there were a lot of people and we didn't rush. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

This is our sixth visit to the Hotel Regente in Benidorm and it is a pleasure to visit every year. Every member staff are very friendly and welcome you with open arms and a huge smile. The hotel has a new stage location up on the Solarium which is a great idea as it keeps young kids away from the pool in the evenings when it is darker. As always the hotel was spotlessly clean and the maids always worked hard to keep it in good clean condition. The restaurant also was very clean, although the one problem is that each year we visit we don't think there is enough choice with the food for the children. A couple of times we had to take the kids out to eat as there was nothing for them, only pudding!! People are complaining that there are towels on the sunbeds at around 7am each morning... Well all we have to say about this is that if you want to get the best spot get up early and reserve one. Even later on in the day there is a good amount of beds available. You cant get up at 12 in the afternoon and expect to have the pick of the spots at the pool I,m afraid. I think it is worth considering opening the pool bar earlier in the morning instead of 11.30 as most people are at the pool by 10 and this also would help the bar staff inside tackling the wet floor issue as people have to go upstairs to get a drink from inside. The rooms are rather small for a family of 4 but as always they are very clean. we are only there a week so we manage without a problem. It's a holiday we are on and not a permanent stay so it suits us but I think it could be more frustrating for people with smaller children or on a longer stay. Our children are older so they get to come and go and don't need to be in the room all the time with us. The pro's always outweigh the con's as there is never many, so Regente thank you for another great holiday and we are already booked to visit you all again next year. The Johnston family

that part of Benidorm used to be fairly quite but the weekend stag/hen party crowd are moving in and made our stay very noisy, staff are great and would have been good value if not for noisy early morning revelers

the hotel was spotless cleaners about all day, pool area was also very clean . we were there for 7 days returned on 12/07/2018 . rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels and beds made up, the evening entertainment was very good, but the hotel need to upgrade there entertainment equipment because the sound was going up and down and you could not hear the singers even being on the front row tables downsides. after the second day the food got repetitive, the restaurant manager was the only polite person on entry and exit ,( well done him ). the bar staff were rude in main bars and poolside bars , except Ian , if they were all like him would be fun getting a drink . all 3 bars only had 1 pump serving only 1 draught lager , if you wanted another beers it came in cans , to which you had to pay for . also you could only get 2 drinks at a time so if you were a family with children or even 2 couples 2 of you would have to go to the bar together . the beach was 10 minute walk away but was so packed it is nigh on impossible to find somewhere to sit . all shops and restaurants are on your doorstep staying open all hours . they say they have a rule about towels on sunbeds not allowed , but they don't adhere to this we saw people putting towels out at 6 am . the pool bar done nice snacks from 11-30 am very tasty , the ice creams for kids were just those little tubs you get any others like lollies you had to pay for including crisps . final sum up nice clean hotel walls a bit thin , Benidorm in my opinion is not for families ,we were 4 couples who have travelled extensively worldwide . also this hotel has the slowest lifts we have ever been in and that's when they finally arrive .

Stayed for second time at Regente and it wont be the last, the friendliness of the staff, the quality of food and entertainment both through the day and at the evening made this a very enjoyable experience
