My parents have just had a 2 week stay in this hotel and I must say I was pleasantly pleased with the whole experience for them. The whole hotel is spotless and well maintained and all the staff seemed so friendly nothing too much to ask them. I’m sure they will return again
The hotel is very nice and the rooms are very clean. The food is delicious. I liked a lot that the rooms had a big balcony. The staff is very friendly and helpful. For sure I will return to this hotel in Benidorm.
we stayed for a week ,the room was large and cleaned to a great standard every day ,the bathroom could have done with re decorating but clean, shower was excellent plenty of hot water and shower gels .the food was good, no noise from the road so slept well, close to bus stop just outside the hotel, all the buses stopped at this stop. found all the staff to be friendly and helpful, would stay again when in Benidorm.
Currently at this hotel and my previous stay just up the road (Don Pancho) has set the bar for my expectations here in Benidorm. This hotel would struggle with 3 star as the service is shocking especially in what I call the “rude restaurant”. Staff avoid eye contact, avoid communication except with other staff members and direct you to seat away from setting up for the next food service. Food quality and menu is tailored for Europeans and the salad bar is very poor. Caters mainly for non-British so expect less. The room has a broken, badly marked desk propped up with the room directory, balcony chairs are basic upright, armless and the choice of refreshments has to be considered as you only get one portion of milk per person per day! Toiletries are not topped up/maintained either and towels are worn. I agree with other trip advisor reviews now I have sampled the Belroy in the negatives of their claim to 4 Star and management responses are poor without taking ownership This hotel has a good location and that is it. I have 2 days to going home and would not recommend this hotel for British visitors unless your standards can be compromised with your expectations
We booked here for my hubby's birthday, we decided to go for the superior room and even upgraded to half board as it was only a few pounds more for our 4 night break. We booked direct with the hotel and got free transfers from the airport. The hotel was modern and clean, our room was fantastic, floor 7, highest floor, great views and a super bathroom with spa bath and double sinks. The breakfast buffet has more than you could possibly want and you can even have a glass of Cava........ As we were half board we decided on lunch rather than an evening meal, the lunch buffet was also excellent with a great choice of hot and cold food and great salads. Drinks at lunch time have to be paid for. All in all a great stay, would recommend but would really consider the Superior rooms for more comfort and space.
When we arrived, I was impressed with the lobby area. Then we got to our room. I didn’t realise, but I do now, that there are two separate buildings for this place. The one we stayed in must have been built and done years ago. Our room was awful. Bathroom was all mouldy, the pictures where yellow and been there that long they had fallen out of the frames. No actual bed. Just pull out sofa bed so me and my husband couldn’t even sleep in the same bed?! The room was just so tired and dated, not anything like on the pictures when I booked it. I didn’t complain as we only stayed 3 nights. The pool area looked nice but hardly any sun beds so they got snapped up early on. Would not return here. It may appear a 4 star but more like a 2 star!
Lovely hotel, very friendly staff,. Breakfast choices were great. We had a standard room on the 4th floor. Room and balcony were a great size and very clean throughout. The bed was comfortable although the headboard set up was very strange, we couldn't sit up because the wall jutted out above the bed and we kept on hitting our heads off of it. We will upgrading to a superior room next time.
Booked Hotel Belroy for my parents to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, especially when trying to arrange a transfer for my parents (thank you Frank and Jake). They had a fantastic stay. Their room was lovely and spacious and had a sea view. It couldn't have been positioned better for them, away from the noisy area but close to walk to the beach and other popular areas. Thank you for help making their stay pleasurable.
Four of my friends & I travelled to Benidorm & stayed at the Belroy Hotel, from Wednesday 18th to Sunday 22nd of April 2018. We stayed in two rooms, one room for 3 & the other room for 2, I stayed with the room for 3, I stayed on a turned down sofa which was very uncomfortable, ‘paying the same as my friends’ there was also a double bed, as we asked for a room with 3 single beds when we booked, on the Friday we had an invasion of Ants, which we call the desk & they were gotten rid of.. thank god as they were in the bed with me.. we found the staff rude & unhelpful, on the last day our flight wasn’t till 11.30pm back to Dublin, so we ask for a late stay in our room as there was a sign that said late stay in room €40, we taught the 5 of us could have the room till 6pm, change, shower, maybe a little snooze.. No.. it was not applicable on that day, so they charged us €100 for a two bedroom, tiny, no balcony room for the 5 of us, I was also called by the Dinner manager who stopped me ‘very rudely’ & said my friend & I had not paid the Dinner bill the night before, I showed him my credit card statement which showed the payment taken from my card, he apologized, & that was that, my small mirror for applying my make also went missing.. as I transferred from one to to the other on the day we were leaving, when I finally got in to retrieve it.. it was there... I’ll never step foot in there again.
