All in all we enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The breakfast buffet was particularly good with a large choice of cheese, meats, fruits, etc. The size of the dinner buffet was too small to cope with the crowd of hungry sportsmen in spite of the efforts of the staff. Food was often lukewarm. Our room on the 2nd floor was well furnished with many cupboards and drawers. Unfortunately there was a very annoying problem because water was falling from the air vent in the ceiling and even flowing along the wall each time somebody was taking a bath on the 3rd floor ! This was mentioned twice to the reception staff. Each time were assured that the problem was going to be fixed. 10 days later nothing had changed. It is difficult to understand such a negligence on the part of the management of the hotel if they care about their reputation.

this is our 3rd visit here in just over a year. Had a wonderful welcome by reception and check in was very quick. this time our room was facing inland, which made a nice change. we were on the 12th floor so the view was great. Traffic is a bit noisier facing inland but it wasn't a problem for us and you get the afternoon sun this time of year. The bathroom is lovely and the shower hot and strong! We didn't have to wait long for a lift at any time. Breakfasts are great, there is so much choice and we ate well. Dinner has a fantastic selection of salads and meats to choose from. As I've said before, the cooked food could do with being a bit warmer and the selection for vegetarians is a bit limited and so we ate out a couple of nights. The staff in the restaurant are rushed off their feet at dinner time, as soon as a bowl is empty they're filling it up again. They do a great job. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel which takes you to the old town in just a few minutes. Generally we preferred to walk to the old town which takes about 40 minutes. Good choice of supermarkets nearby but they close on a Sunday so make sure you shop on Saturday if you need to. There's also a great outdoor food market in the old town on a Saturday.

Great food, lovely pool and brilliant entertainment for the kids. Lifts couldn't cope with numbers unfortunately and the stairs are more like an emergency exit. On our last day we left items behind reception for safety and unfortunately things went missing. The hotel have simply ignored this and refused to help.

We stayed here just for 1 night this month. Luckily managed to get parked outside the hotel as there was a €12.50 charge per night to use the hitel's underground car park. In summer you probably would need to use this but Calpe was quiet when we visited. Lobby of hotel beautiful, Male receptionist a bit rude as eyeing up the young girls who were passing and chatting to them whilst dealing with us. Room ok, looking a bit tired furnishings wise, but bath with shower over, good water pressure, nice toiletries. Mini bar included a corkscrew. Hurrah! No directory in room so figuring out the tv took a while. Did not eat in restaurant in the evening, but had the breakfast. Huge choice, everything you could wish for, not the greatest English breakfast but lots of other things to choose. Would stay again . Cyclist friendly if you into that.

Pleasant staff, excellent breakfast with fresh fruit and fresh fruit juices! Nice spa with a good sized pool. Not too well situated unless you need a supermarket of which there are several! The room was nothing special but the bed was comfortable! We did ask for an extra blanket as the duvet cover was very thin! Parking was extra ! On the whole good value for money!

We are staying for 6 nights as part of a group on a dance holiday. Our room has been very comfortable and the small fridge has been very useful. It is a 4 min walk to the nearest beach and about a 45 minute walk to the old town which is worth a look. We have enjoyed the indoor spa but the outdoor pool is not heated but we have sat on sun loungers as our weather has been mainly sunshine. Staff have been friendly and the buffet breakfast and dinner offers a good choice. Bring your travel kettle if you like a cuppa there are two supermarkets opposite the hotel.

Arrived Boxing Day for a 5 night stay from arriving to leaving our experience was amazing, staff are genuinely nice people couldn't have done enough for us, although all we asked for we're directions, bus routes etc they were very helpful and exceptional at their jobs, the list goes on, rooms fab, pool area beautiful and spotless, bar area and chill out reception/lobby area really chilled out lots of sofas to relax on and watch the comings and goings of other guests, restaurant staff very friendly but again not over the top so natural, food was great in my opinion something for everyone and not cold and freshly made infront of you, the spa/pool area inside I think is a must it's 20 Euro for an hour but we loved it, heated pool, jacuzzi x4, sauna, steam room, about 6 different shower experiences, all around the pool are water jets for different things, the smell of aromatherapy oils in the air and chill out music softly playing, we loved it, cannot fault anything about our stay, just wasn't long enough, the little jewellery shop inside the lobby is well worth a look, bought 2 pairs of earrings at very good prices, location also is a bonus about a 2 min walk to a beautiful beach, lovely promenade which is linked by the port to another beach leading to the mian town with designer shops, cafes etc, and the little train is also a nice little trip at 4 euros, takes you through calpe back streets and back to diamanté beach if you didn't fancy the long walk back, thank you for an amazing holiday diamanté beach!

We stayed at this hotel for one night during the off season and didn't really enjoy our stay. The bed was really uncomfortable, we could feel the mattress springs! If you are a light sleeper, you might want to consider staying somewhere else since walls are paper thin, we could hear neighbors from everywhere. Breakfast was plentiful but rather low quality! Room was clean and shower very nice! We didn't go to the spa or the onsite restaurant for dinner!

Stayed here at the beginning of November. The hotel itself is very nice, pleasant decorations, room comfortable and clean. My main problem was in the restaurant ! For the first 4 days, the meals, although plentiful, were always lukewarm with cold plates and the bread was at least a week old and very, very stale. On the 5th day however, there was an influx of Spanish holiday makers / conference people and the food improved enormously.. but the bread remain inedible. Would I stay here again .. not sure.

our convention was organized in the hotel and close to 1000 people were attending. Staff was friendly and correct in every way. there will always be a little bit of chaos during conventions, but it seemed that this hotel was able to manage it all.
