We booked VitaSol Park not realising its location in relation to Lagos. It's a bit of a walk, But not terrible. The worst bit is the hill on the home straight! The apartment is generally good with Air Conditioning. The kitchen is well equipped. The bed in the bedroom wasn't the most comfortable. Both myself & my partner had back ache the next morning. Also the pillows for the bed were half the size of most standard pillows which wasn't a major issue. But could easily be improved. The shower in the bathroom needed a new head as someone had obviously previously dropped it. Which causes water to literally spray everywhere! Also on our return home we didn't get a deposit back for the pool access cards as the reception was closed. So I would recommend returning them in the day before you leave or the day previous. With some improvements this holiday apartment could be up there with the best. All I can say is a weeks stay was reasonably priced, So we aren't too bitter about the situation.

The accomodation at Vitasol Park was excellent. Really spacious & clean. A very quiet place restful & the staff were courteous & helpful. It was only a short 10 minute walk to the marina & an extra 10 to the town centre. The beaches are so clean & the sand lovely. It was our second trip to the same resort & the same accomodation. We will be back.

We stayed here three nights with our little boys in a two bedroom apartment. The balcony was awesome and the pool was nice (but a bit of a walk from where our apartment was located). Besides toilet paper, the apartments came with NOTHING (soap, dish sponge, etc.). There is a grocery store about three minutes away by car. There is a beach nearby which we walked to once but decided (after walking back up the hill) to drive to instead (parking is free and easy). We drove into the old town often and found it convenient as well. Not the best place, but quite satisfactory for the price.

We stayed in an apartment for 8 people, but we only had 7 people. Honestly have no idea where an 8th person would have even slept. There was dried blood on one of our comforters and on the shower curtain. Thankfully they replaced the comforter after we told them. One of the showers had a SUPER slow drain and honestly would have overflowed if we wouldn't have turned off the water in between washing the shampoo and soap out. The hot water also ran out super fast, especially in the late evening. There was no free wi-fi. The place was semi-clean. The curtain in the kitchen was stained with who knows what and the floors made your feet black. Also, do not expect hand soap to be found anywhere in the apartment. The market next to the reception desk was convenient though. Thankfully we were only there for 2 days and we spent most of our time at the beach or out and about.

Family of 3...arrived late...the security guard handed over the prblm at all. The apartment had everything..."carry your own toiletries"...completed check in next morn...stayed for 4 nights. Pleasant staff...had some great recommendations. Air conditioners were effective...which is not usually the case at such properties. Free wi fi in the room...had our own router n pwd. TV had 30 odd channels...gud number of english channels..although wit the internet didnt need many. Pool is gud but being in d open is prone to heavy winds. Loads of towels n linen. Great location...5 min walk to marina. Maybe have a sign to say where the reception is when approaching from the right side of the property...or maybe u do n we missed which case it needs to be more prominent. Overall...great place to stay!

We spent 10 days at Vitasol Apartments, we had 2 X2 bedroom apartments. Reception was very pleasant no problem checking in. Our apartment was huge doube room with ensuite and twin bedroom and bathroom which was great. Open plan living area huge, well equipped kitchen, washing machine great advantage, we took less clothes. 2nd apartment was slightly smaller, but same otherwise, huge balconies. Cleaners called few times, but not problem we had lots of spare bedding, blankets. Easy change bed, sweep over floor. I didn't use pool family did, bit cold but enjoyed. Would have been nice to have restaurant and bar open, but we knew before hand (always check TripAdvisor) . Pleasant walk to marina lots of restaurants hill not so bad. Lagos has lots of amazing places to visit, town itself full of lovely places to eat, streets to explore. If you go to fish market right at top fab restaurant, amazing views. Also a since museum with amazing kids area of science and play. The apartments and area need updating a little, but we had wonderful time .

Stay here at the start of the Sept for the 3rd time in the last 5years and must admit that the resort is going downhill. Negatives We booked the hotel through ( agents for Meeting Point Youtravel Tourism LLC), 2 months prior to the holiday. At the last minute we were cancelled as they quoted the hotel overbooked, which it was most certainly was not. The experience of being dumped at the last minute means I would never use or recommend either company again. This forced us to book direct with the hotel. This did cost a lot more for the same room, and we did email to see if any discount was available, but ended up paying the full rate, as at the time (1 week before travelling) we did not have many other options in the Lagos area, at the last minute. When checking out we discovered a cockroach in the room. Thank goodness we were checking out. The issue is that the hotel only clean the apartments a couple of times a week and it shows with cleanliness being quite poor and probably the reason for unwanted guests. Another disappointment is that the hotel forgets to inform guests that the pool bar is completely shut and has been for months/a year by other trip advisor comments. Positives Location in Lagos and distance from the marina.

Stayed here last week for one week . We arrived there at 10 am and our apartment was ready . We had a double with ensuite,a double and a twin room , this was for 6 adults. Fab balcony , we did have to order a kettle which arrived next day . Pool was great although not as busy as i expect it would be at peak time . Pool bar still closed but didnt effect our stayexcept for " its who's turn to go to shop for ice cream ""!!! Its a 5 min walk to the marina or a pleasant 15/20 min to the old town of Lagos which are both fab.. Taxi home for 6 was 5 20.... Lagos is beautiful , would recommend to anyone .

We didn't get off to a good start - I'd requested early access but we had to wait for 3 hours. The bar on site is still closed so we left our bags and walked to the marina which is lovely. When we finally got in the room it was to find one bedroom had bunk beds - we were four adults with two in their 70s!! We were able to move but had to wait for an additional two hours for the room to be cleaned. As there was nowhere we could change we were still in the clothes we had set out in at 4am that morning and we finally got in the room around 7pm! However things did get much better - the apartment was lovely and spacious with a fantastic balcony. I had read previous reviews and requested a kettle early on so we had everything we needed - there was an iron and board already in the apartment The room was cleaned during our weeks stay (they tried to clean it twice but as it was the day before we were leaving we said we didn't need it). It is about a mile walk to the footbridge to cross in Lagos so less to get to the marina. Don't bother with heels as there are cobbles everywhere. The hill is pretty steep and my parents had had enough if it by the end of the week walking up and down it twice a day. There is a hill off to the right which takes you to the supermarket and this isn't quite as bad. My husband used the gym which is near to the supermarket and was fine for what he needed. Lagos is lovely and the marina stunning so definitely worth a visit.

Stayed in the vita sol park apts for 1 week. Apt was massive fab view and very clean only down fall was the Hugh Hill to the complex. Staff were very nice and pool was lovely too however the bar at the pool is closed which was annoying. It's our 2nd time to Lagos we love the place great food great beeches and over all paradise Can't wait to go back😄
