Had booked to stay in this hotel this coming May and have just been advised they will actually be carrying out building work (new congress centre I think it was) and they will try to keep noise to a minimum!! No options of a refund and a change of hotel is an expense to myself! I have a toddler and don't fancy being on a building site during our holiday. Already put a downer on our 1st family holiday.

Have stayed here many times for first week of Feb on a big pro-am. Lovely sea view room. Breakfast had been moved from the spacious usual place possibly because we were one week earlier than usual or due to a conference; either way not as nice. Felt cramped and not as easy to get service. Hopefully this was a one off. As usual not enough bar staff when we all came down for pre-dinner drinks but this has always been the case. Other than that the usual very nice week away.

Stayed June 2017 (late review sorry Tivoli )…I stayed here with my daughter and had a fabulous time. This was the second time I have stayed in this hotel. I stayed here in 2016 with my partner and had a few issues during our stay which did spoil it at the end, but I have to say the hotel dealt with the issues extremely efficiently, which in turn made me want to go back and try it again. I wasn’t disappointed!!! This is a lovely hotel and the perfect location as it faces both the beach and the marina. The first time we were beach facing, but this time round we were facing the marina so you could see all the harbour, bars and restaurants lit up at night. The hotel décor is very modern and suave, there is a really nice feel to the place. Our bedroom was spacious, with a balcony view of the Vilamora marina, it contained all room facilities required for a holiday. The room was spotlessly clean every day, fresh towels, turn down and anything we did need extra was only a phone call away. There was also a lovely welcome note left in the room for when we arrived and many others left throughout our stay. Breakfast was served in the Chilli Restaurant, a good selection of hot and cold breakfast food. Yes it could be busy in the mornings but there was always seating for everyone inside and out. The morning staff were very friendly and always smiling. Poolside, vary spacious and had plenty of beds, however the last 2 days of our holiday staff were putting out more and more beds ready for the holiday season so I guess it would seem a little less spacious then, but that’s normal, hotels become busier in the summer, it’s the nature of the business. The Pool/garden areas were very clean and well maintained. There is an outdoor pool bar (Acucar Bar) where you can order food and drinks if you become bored with lying on the sunbeds, the only criticism I have for this area is that the bar staff weren’t as attentive as the staff inside the hotel and quite a few times we struggled to get a waiter to notice we had been sat for a while waiting to be served…but we did have the same problem the first time we stayed here, but just a small issue. The Purobeach poolside opened on our last day so we didn’t manage to try it out, but we had a little look round and it looks very luxurious, very tranquil but I’m sure it can also turn into a great party day. The Purobeach Beachfront Restaurant and bathing area was being constructed whilst we were there, but I have to say even though there was some noise it didn’t spoil our days around the pool. The hotel also has an indoor pool which is great for me as I like to have a swim in peace and quiet, this pool generally is quiet. We also had a spa day where we booked in for various treatments at the Tivoli Spa located within the hotel grounds. This is the second time I have had a spay day there and I wasn’t disappointed with my experience. I booked in for my daughter and myself, the treatments were fantastic and we were looked after very well by the therapists. I would highly recommend you visit this spa if you like your beauty treatments. Lots of seating areas around the hotel so if you’ve had enough of the sun there is plenty of space to go off on your own for some quiet reading time inside the hotel..and again everywhere is spotlessly clean. There is also the Canela Bar which we visited a few times during out stay…sit inside or out, outside faces the marina so a lovely view and they do great cocktails which are all made with fresh ingredients, none of the readymade packet must try the cocktails up there. I have to say a little bit about Mr Mouse who has worked there for years on concierge, always has a smile on his face and has a very calming effect on you. All staff we came across were friendly and nothing was too much trouble, I have to say we were thoroughly looked after while we stayed here. My biggest praise goes to Duarte R, Maria A and Andreia as these staff members gave us the best customer service from booking the holiday right until we left for home. They should be given credit where it's due as their customer service skills and their ability to ensure their guests have the best time was second to none, we certainly had a fabulous time. If you are going to Vilamora I would highly recommend you stay in this hotel or at least just visit hotel, I for one will hopefully return again. Big thank you to all staff who looked after know who you are.

Overall very good, but bedrooms need an update, particularly re lighting and air conditioning. Cleaning of room just adequate. No niceties. The gentleman porters are absolute stars. Always friendly and helpful. Also reception staff are great. Breakfast staff brilliant.

Ideally situated for harbour, restaurants and golf. The standard of accommodation is excellent and all staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. transfers to golf courses included. Excellent indoor facilities for this time of year. room attention excellent and really appreciate the evening chocolates.

Stayed here 4 nights in June. The staff at reception where welcoming and friendly, the area was very clean, tidy and well organised as there were 40 in our group checking in. Our rooms where not quite ready so we were all offered to use the pool and other amenities, while our luggage was stored safely. Our room was a twin on a high floor facing the sea and pool very clean and newly decorated, beds where very combatable and the bathroom was luxuries with lovely fluffy clean white towels (a must). The Hotel is situated right on the marina with lots of bars and restaurants about a two minute walk away. As there where so many of us we didn’t eat in the hotel restaurants, but we did frequent the bar overlooking the yachts in the marina. Will return with my family next time.

the staff in the spa, restaurant and on reception were very friendly, welcoming and professional. However, because there was a large conference on at the time, access to the hotel's facilities was significantly curtailed and the 6 foot high white hoarding around most of the reception area to close it off for the conference was off-putting, to say the least. Also, our bedroom was disappointing - furniture needs upgrading and the room and bathroom were very cold, despite trying to turn up the air-conditioning.Also, there is alot of building work going on at one end of the hotel - try to avoid a bedroom near it !

We have stayed in this hotel a number of times now - mostly for a long weekend away. The hotel is in a perfect position with lovely views of the harbour one side, and the gorgeous beach the other. ( I think you do get more sun on the beachside of the hotel ) So if you like to sit on the balcony, then I think the beach side is better. The rooms are spacious and very comfy! The pillows are one of the things I really look forward to come back to - silly I know, but they really are the best. The breakfast is certainly fantastic - never had a trouble with the food there.. cooked breakfast are perfect, and they offer lots of cakes/pastries/cereals on offer too. Hotel is close enough to get a bus to Faro - cheap too, well worth a visit into, change of scenery etc. Location wise, the harbour has plenty to offer with restaurants, bars, pubs etc., with more options behind the harbour and up the streets. Casino nearby the hotel - just out the entrance to the right, short walk down the street - again we spent a few nights in here. All in all, we love it here for a nice break away and to rejuvenate. I have no doubt we will go back AGAIN!

Stayed on the sea facing side- with a balcony bathed in sunshine all day long, and needless to say a beautiful view. Brought a group of 80 for a private dinner on Purobeach restaurant one evening too. Didn’t catch the name of the bell boy who stopped to dance to our music on the radio while bringing the car round- genuine warmth & enthusiasm for customer service, a lasting final moment! Overall an excellent experience, massive thanks to Daniela Costa for really looking after us before and during our group dinner & Andre Miranda- excellent hospitality teams. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves..

I stay each year and always reflect on the excellent customer serice received in all areas. Concierge staff are particulalry friendly wven whn dealing with heavy golf club bags! Valet parking is another benefit offered. Breakfast very fullsome and caters for all palates. Will be bak next year.
