My boyfriend and I came to stay here in October 2017 for a few days on the recommendation of a friend. This was our first trip abroad together! We knew we had come at the end of the season, so expected it to be quiet. It was lovely and quiet! The hotel staff and owners are incredibly friendly and even lent us a parasol for when we spent the day on the beach. The breakfasts were pretty standard, and the bar let us take a few drink around the pool. I'm not sure if that's normal, but we were the only people hanging out by the pool! It is situated by a fairly busy road that runs into Lagos, but we didn't hear any traffic noise. There is parking on a slip road in front of the hotel which was perfect as we had hired a car and wanted to make sure it was somewhere safe for the duration of our stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

This hotel is good if you prefer a small hotel rather than a large one. There are about 30 rooms & 3 suites. We had a suite which was very spacious and had a balcony on the front. The hotel is bed and breakfast (continental breakfast only), and there is no fridge or kettle in the room. The reception staff were very helpful with details of buses and trips. The only downside was the noise from the traffic at night.

We usually stay at the Tivoli which is superb but unfortunately it was full so we used to search for an alternative. There were 5 of us and the hotel only had 3 twin rooms (2 standard and 1 superior) which we booked. When we arrived we were greeted by the manager, checked in and received the room keys. When I asked which room was the superior room I was told that all the rooms were the same and had made a mistake so we accepted that. We were asked to pay immediately after we had put our bags in the room. We went to reception to pay, he then charged us an additional €102 for the three nights for one room. When we asked why it was more expensive he then said that that room was the superior room! We reminded him he had just told us there were no superior rooms and that room was identical to the others, he then started to argue that is was larger so more expensive, but they were exactly the same! After he couldn't justify it any longer he then said that he did have a 'superior' room but we wouldn't like it as it's not as good and away from the main hotel but would show us how bad it was "tomorrow" as he couldn't do it that night. He blamed for the situation but still insisted we pay the additional cost which we reluctantly did as it was getting late and we needed the room. We couldn't find him the next evening to see the illusive 'superior' room or on our final day either. The man is a liar and a crook, if you must stay DO NOT book a superior room as they are all the same and he is reliant on people not usually booking more than one room so would never know. I would advise anyone wanting to book a hotel in Lagos to go somewhere else or risk being robbed!!! He was insisting that it was's mistake and not his but clearly he tells them what rooms he has! I would also like the manager to know that we are regular visitors to Lagos and one of our party actually runs a business in Lagos from October to May annually, and recommends hotels to his UK students and he has lost a lot of potential business by robbing us. I would have told him this to his face if he hadn't gone into hiding!

We spent seven nights here during the last week of August. We absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is very small and run by a family who were exceptional in their service. It is spotless. The rooms are basic but have everything you need, including a hairdryer. The breakfast was typical continental with excellent variety. The location of this hotel is wonderful. The marina with bars, cafes and restaurants is one street over, the beach is a 10 minute walk as is the main part of Lagos across the bridge. The only thing we wished we had was air conditioning but other than that could not fault this hotel.

A really lovely hotel in a fantastic location. It is so close to the marina, where there are some lovely restaurants. Not far from town centre or the beach either. The rooms are lovely and it is without a doubt the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. Overall it is a beautiful hotel for a relaxing holiday. We loved it

Lovely family run hotel.5 minutes walk to marina and 10 minutes walk to the old town.close to Train and bus station.small pool area but gets the sun all day.very close to major supermarket.will be back.

It's a family running hotel. Very friendly atmosphere, lovely breakfast every morning, rooms are big and very clean. Nice, little pool and terrace. Whole week we feel like at home! Definitely we will be back! 💙

This is a small family run hotel with beautiful traditional decor. It may be small with just 30 something rooms but very large in "ambience, character, friendliness, cleanliness, beautiful breakfast, quiet outstanding pool and pool area". The locality is close to fantastic Marina, restaurants, town centre and all tourist attractions. Returning each evening to "Welcome home" and a nightcap in the bar was just lovely. My husband and I enjoyed this hotel and will definitely return.

Very nice family run hotel. Without doubt the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in, the place is absolutely spotless and the staff obviously take pride in their work. We were made to feel welcome by everyone who worked here and looked forward to our evening Caipirinhas prepared by cocktail master Manuel. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone considering a holiday in Lagos it really is the perfect place to relax :)

I'm saying this because, this is a good shelter but not a fancy, pretencious hotel. It provides what you need:bed, bathroom, reception, breakfast. It seems an older hotel, but the staff was the best from all the hotels we've been on the Algarve Coast. They gave us by default all the info we needed. Located very close to the Marina, very close to the train station(cus we traveled by train till Lisboa) not so far from the center.
