This hotel states that it has a laundry service, which when we asked for it they didnt, so we had to go to local laudrette and spend a few hours in there plus more money! They had a sauna room and a bar which was never open! When we asked about it we was told that they had loads of complaints before about it not being open aswell and that the owner just doesnt care! The beds are really hard, can feel every spring! Had very limited options for dinner at the restaurant. The only positive was that the staff were polite, the breakfast buffet was nice and the views from the restaurant. Would not return to this hotel!

Just returned from this hotel air con was the best we have had and free safe food is not bad too staff were brill i would stay in this hotel again have no problems with this hotel would like to thank the staff for our nice stay

We visited hotel globo on an all inclusive basis and we're very disappointed with package. Food was basic and very limited choice is given. The bar was only open between 7pm and 11pm and even then we had to spend time going back down to the restaurant to get service in the bar. Apparently the all inclusive package only allows you one drink at the bar but after complaining the did not charge us any extra for drinks. The hotel was clean and the majority of staff friendly and approachable. The things that let this hotel down is no swimming pool, no outside area to sit and considering that the hotel is non smoking the least they can do is to have a area where you could smoke. Won't be going back.

I booked this hotel on a B & B basis. The hotel itself was clean and the staff approachable and friendly. The receptionists could not do any more to help or assist. The Room was exceptionally clean and cleaned every day except for two times which was not cleaned at our request. The room consisted of a large double bed, desk and chair wardrobes/drawers and bedside cabinets with lamps. The room had air conditioning free, Internet free, a TV with some British channels. there was an opening door 1/2 French window type for fresh air if required. The bathroom consisted of Bath, shower running from bath taps, sink and wc all very clean. The breakfast was continental type consisting of fresh breads and pasties (delivered daily). Ham, Salami, Cheese, tomatoes, jam/marmalade sometimes fresh some times tinned fruit, oranges. melon, pears or pineapple. Yoghurt, cereal fresh milk. Scrambled eggs, frankfurter style sausages, boiled eggs and either mushrooms or baked beans. Coffee or Tea was available from a machine as was fresh fruit juice. It was a pleasant breakfast and plentiful the staff immediately filling up empty receptacles. The hotel was about a 30 minute walk from Pria da Rocha beach. Local transport taxis and buses were very nearby and reasonably priced.

This hotel is not all inclusive meals are at set times as is the bar in between these times everything is securely locked up including coffee and drinks machines there are no light refreshments in the bar as stated in the advertisement from on the beach. When we arrived at 10 pm we couldn't even get a glass of water and there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms. The managers was rude aggressive and abusive and told me I would stick to his program when referring to the set meal times. We had dirty sheets and pillow cases and the pull out sofa bed was rickety and unsuitable for larger children the sheets on this had mould dots on them and pubic hair. Because the hotel wasn't all inclusive we had to take the children into town to buy them supper on our first night. We asked to be transferred to another hotel but the manager refused to refund our money. We spent whole of the second day trying to find somewhere else to stay eventually On the Beach found us somewhere in Albufiera we couldn't stay at Globo and we ended up paying an extra 2K for our accommodation which was not all inclusive so to add insult to injury we had to pay for all the food for six of us for the week. Worse than awful and so disappointing for my grand childrens first holiday abroad

What an awful place dirty smelly with extremely rude staff All inclusive is not all inclusive you have to eat at set times and the bar opens at 7pm till 11pm The cleaner is also a waitress, the receptionist is also the chef and the handy man is a waiter and bar man We had to get our own drink (brought at a local shop) as there is no access to any refreshments only at set meal times All facilities are none existent the gym is a running machine and a bike in the corner of a room Everywhere is locked up most of the day ie bar/restaurant/even the coffee and juice machines in the restaurant get locked away straight after breakfast (which was hot dog sausages and powder scrambled eggs) This is NOT a 4 star more like a very bad 2 star Avoid Avoid Avoid

I was disappointed with this hotel and could not advise it as a place to stay. The corridor carpet on all floors had bits all over, and looked as though they hadn't been vacuumed for days. The rails on the stairs were also dusty. Breakfast was poor with a limited selection, The coffee machine churned out coffee which was disgusting. The hotel smelled. Breakfast staff dour. No welcome given . Buffet very average . Food was not hot. Impression given that the hotel was short staffed.

Small clean room bathroom very small towel rack above the WC.Breakfast very basic poor quality food.Saúna not working nor Turkish bath. Bar not really staffed and dead. Could be good with better management and bringing into 21 st Century. Its a shame resort friendly good low cost restaurants and taxis to the beautiful beaches. We were offered a free dinner as compensation for lack of sauna we declined.Dinner did not look great.

Arrived and man on reception watched us struggle into hotel reception with cases. All inclusive... A LIE!!! none of facilities worked, food was disgusting- same food for evening meal that had been put out at lunch!! Baked beans were dry too. Beds uncomfortable, like sleeping on bricks!!! Snack bar was never open, manager admitted short staffed at the time. Had to move hotel 3rd day!!

By far one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in, they general layout of the hotel is lovely but the following really ruined the holiday. - rooms smelt like sewage most of the time. -we found live cock roaches in the bedroom. -the waiting staff had serious hygiene problems, which wasn't just one day it was the whole week. - the food was awful and not much choice. -wifi was broken most of the time. -the Turkish baths and sauna was out of use the whole time we were there. - the biggest disappointment for us , resulting in us using our spending money to buy drinks was that we brought all inclusive, when we arrived the manager advised this meant we could only have one drink at the bar between 7pm-11pm. - the bed were so uncomfortable. - only changed towels every 3 days! - staff were very rude.
