There is always a welcome here.,,,we have been visiting here for a week for 17 years ! There is a good restaurant on site and a bistro as well as a well stocked bar. Good sunbathing and games facilities, although I do not 'do' the former!!
Just come home from a week at four seasons, it is a lovely complex we had a beautiful two bedroom apartment which was spotless, spacious and well equipped. The complex itself is very clean to a high standard. The indoor swimming pool was lovely with a nice sauna and jacuzzi. The outdoor swimming pool was too cold to go in but was lovely and clean too. The staff were all really welcoming and friendly. The gym is also good and well equipped. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great for a few of our days there but the hotel put on entertainment for the guests to compensate which they didn't have to do. The hotel is close to a small supermarket which is a lovely short walk through the beautiful old village with a few restaurants there too. Overall a lovely first stay for myself in Portugal and I would definitely return to four seasons. Thank you
Overall a superb establishment. We chose BnB. A poor start though - we were put into a one bed apt. instead of 2 due to overbooking? Son had to sleep on couch as pull out was too small for him. That was put right beyond our satisfaction next morning and we moved into a two bed unit. Both apts were very well appointed, spacious, 'fresh' looking, clean and warm (weather was cold for here). Breakfast choice was huge and all foods of a very high standard. Themed evening meals gave great choice to a high standard and reasonably priced. The grounds, pools and indoor facilities look great and are kept very well. All staff, reception, customer services, waiters, chefs/cooks, bar staff, grounds men, cleaners, drivers etc are highly competent and have great customer service. Nothing to complain about but the poor wet weather.
My son and I stayed in Four Seasons Vilamoura in February 2018. We were fortunate to have a studio apartment with a tremendous view and also a balcony which was sunny for a large part of the day. The facilities are as always excellent although it would be nice to have the swimming pool open a little later owing to it being the school holidays. The bar has an extremely good atmosphere which is down to the wonderful team led by Paulo and Jose. I found Paula Rocheta from Public Relations to be very welcoming and can be relied upon to deal with any queries you may have regarding the complex. The voucher we received at the welcome meeting was used by my son for a back massage which was certainly an extremely good experience. Although we had no need to use the services of the maintenance staff they are always to be seen around the complex and you can guarantee a friendly greeting. This proved to be an extremely pleasant and refreshing break.
We only stayed one night at this resort but were quite frankly a bit disappointed. The apartment was spacious, but a bit tired. Wifi was very slow and one is only allowed to have 5 devices in total connected. With a family of 4, of which 2 teenagers that is not a lot. The breakfast was a big disappointment. We have been in similar resorts and usually it is a lot better with a wider choice of food.
Once again we have had a fantastic stay at Four Seasons Vilamoura. The staff are second to none, always helpful and they can’t do enough to make your stay special, you are all stars! The food is always of a high standard from the breakfasts to the themed evening meals. The accommodation is always spotless and comfortable. As owners now for over 10 years I can honestly say it is an absolute pleasure returning year after year. See you all again next year. Thank you.
I could not have asked for more the welcome was friendly, we were lucky enough to be checked in by Sonja she offers a very warm welcome .. She and her colleague were very welcoming and quickly put you at ease. Our accommodation were two studio apartments, one of which was to be accessible. The check in process was quick and not overwhelming and we and our luggage were escorted to our respective accommodations via gulf buggies. The studio were spacious, very clean and well equipped with a good range of white goods. eg, washer dryer, microwave dish washer plus a large selection of kitchen utensils . we also had daily housekeeping. Breakfast was part of our holiday package and again what was on offer was quite similar each day but the choices available was more than sufficient. once again the support and attention we received from the restaurant staff Domingo , Luisa & Rui excelled our expectations. they attended to our groups need so well even to the point of .supplying us with chili sauce and hot water. The pools and pool sites were always clean and well maintained. I particularly like that the management discouraged the reserving sun loungers for hours and hours. this may be particularly helpful at vey busy times. we did not stay on site to be part of the daily activities and so it would not be fare to comment however, every day a "what's on" activity leaflet would be placed on the door. the land train is a nice ride towards the marina (approx. 20 mins ), and when you stay at the Four seasons there is a discount, but you can take a cab which will be around 6 Euros and a 5 min drive. my only critique The entire property has good wheelchair access however , some areas of the pathway are cobbled and this may become slightly bumpy and tiring for individual who self propel. Overall the property is clean and safe with security on the main entrance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and there was something for our very mixed group ranging from a 7 boy year old to my mother who celebrated her birthday 84th birthday whilst there. thank you Four seasons !
We stayed in June last year and had a fantastic stay. We were upgraded to a 2-bedroom apartment on arrival, and given spacious and clean apartments. The apartments had great amenities with washing machine, dryer rack and dryer, stove, microwave and fridge. Breakfast was delicious, pool child friendly with gradual entry. Staff were lovely, we made good friends with Rui and the lady who looks after kids club and taxis. Overall a lovely hotel and we definitely plan to come again :)
We have just returned today from a 4 day break in Four seasons and what can i say...just perfect from start to finish. We stayed in a 2 bed apt which was spacious and overlooked the golf course. The resort offered excellent facilities for both kids and adults. My daughter and i enjoyed a fantastic treatment in the spa while the younger kids enjoyed the egg hunt organised by the kids club. The tourist train was an enjoyable form of transport down to the marina. We have visited many countries and can safely say that this was the best yet and we are already looking at booking for july. Thanks to all the staff at four seasons xx
I was staying here to be in the ideal location for my 5 days of golf tuition with the resident professional Peter lester. The staff were incredibly good in all respects. Nothing was too much trouble and all were friendly and cheerful at all times. All areas were spotlessly clean and the pool and gardens immaculate. My apartment had the benefit of underfloor heating in the bathroom. If you wanted to cater for yourself it is possible with a dishwasher and washing machine in place. The only negatives for me were a lack of storage space for foodstuff, though I doubt many would be wanting to be cooking much on holiday. The buildings are not up to the modern standards of noise reduction and when young children run around above you it is noticeable. Overall highly recommended.
