The hotel was in an ideal location for the beach. We also had a sea view which was beautiful. The hotel is close to the strip and there are a lot of young party holiday makers staying at the hotel so it can be quite loud in the early hours of the morning, the reception is very poorly organised. The pool area is nice, the drink and food is very reasonably priced.

We just came back from our holiday in Portugal, can say only 1 thing: if you are planing to stay at this accommodation with your kids be ready for sleepless nights! On check in we paid €400.00 as a deposit + €10.00 deposit for tv and conditioner remote controls. On check out date reception was closed. Working hours starts from 8am and we left room at 6:30am.. No one was there to sort out our deposit, so dont know how im going to get it back, because that they didnt took any bank details for transfer money back! I wont come back to thus hotel, actually we couldnt wait to get back to England..

Very very good!! The stairs are tiring and there are no lifts, the check in is not until 4 and we didn't know that but other than that I loved my stay at soldoiro apartements and will be staying again next year! Cidália and the other blonde girl were great staff and gave us usual information, location is perfect beach is 2 minutes away and so was the strip! The wifi was fast and very clean apartment.

Just gonna be straight to the point here - On arrival we had to pay 200 euros deposit which guy told us we should have known about. This seemed quite steep and unfortunately their card machine wouldn't work which meant we had to withdraw more money and made a loss when transferring back to British pounds. There was refurb works going on and drilling and banging started at 8am so make sure you aren't going crazy all night and then complain of the works going on. Room was very comfortable, spacious and exactly what we needed, looks like shower has recently been refurbished and very powerful, lock in bedroom window didn't work but bars were there so wasn't concerned about thieves. Noise was very noisy and we had people banging on our doors and windows at 3am. I wouldn't stay here if you don't like noise or being near the strip. I was quite surprised families stayed here as it's more of a youngsters hotel which was alright for us but not for some. We got spare towels, loo rolls and clean room every 2 days but floor was incredibly dusty, we wore flip flops around the room. On the first time our room was cleaned our door and windows were left wide open, luckily nothing was taken and we alerted reception. Quite dangerous and we weren't happy but all was sorted and the cleaners were notified. The wifi was shocking and didn't work much both inside the rooms and by the pool side. You are better off using your own 3 or 4G. Overall we had an alright stay and the bar by the pool was very reasonably priced. Just giving those a heads up! We went in a couple and didn't spend much time in the room so it suited us as we are young but these were a few things we noticed :)

Only stayed for 5 days thank god if it was any longer would have looked for other accommodation, building work still ongoing at the hotel driiling banging ongoing from 8am. Hotel full of 18-25 year olds who were really noisy and banging on doors throughout the night playing loud music throughout the night. Reception staff uncaring and no help at all infact very ignorant we asked to change room answer was NO full up asked for courtesy room on last day answer NO we don't have them we were told we could shower round pool as no shower facilities in hotel, there are no lifts in hotel so if on a high floor be prepared to carry all luggage up the stairs 84 in all to our room, the only nice thing about this hotel was sea view. I would never go back to this hotel ever again.

Booked this hotel a long time ago but only recently found out via trip advisor about the building work. After contacting the hotel were advised the pool is now open, they were only working on one block & this would be finished by the end of June. We left on the 2nd of July & the place is still a building site, they are working on more than one block & cant see it being finished for months yet. Drilling starts first thing in the morning, there are piles of sand, skips, cement mixers & rubbish all over. Workers were round the pool every day drilling & putting railings up and pleased be warned they could be working on one apartment & they will put you in the room right next door for your stay. In my opinion it's a health & safety disaster & in no way should they have people staying here, especially charging them full price. We spent most days down the beach to get way from the building work. Good things Position near beach & strip Rooms have been partially re done new bathrooms & kitchen appliances. Air con works well. Nice view (if you pay for sea view may only be partial see view) WIfi ok I think this will be an OK place to stay once the renovations have been completed but at the moment it's not the place to go.

Location wise this hotel is perfect, the beach is just down the road and the strip just up the road with a convenience store opposite. The apartments have everything you need and are very nice and big enough. However, on the first day, our key card stopped working after one use so we got a replacement from reception. The next day the key card stopped working again so we had to go back down (we were up three flights of stairs!). This time they gave us an actual key aswell. The actual door key then stopped turning in the lock. Finally yet another key card and it stayed working. The thing that got to us the most was that all of the staff, except one nice lady, had an attitude problem each time we needed help for something that wasn't our fault. It's not nice to feel like a nuisance when you're a guest. Plus there were building works going on while we stayed so we got woken up with banging early in the mornings! Not good after a late night

Stayed ere for a wk & thank God it was only a wk. The place was noisy & Building site, it was full of young people coming in all hours & too close to the strip. We never used the pool or restaurant as the noise was too much.

I definitely would not recommend coming here as a family as you can hear the strip at night time up until around 4am - people screaming and shouting, music blaring. People also partying in the rooms surrounding us was annoying when we were staying in. The staff here aren't great - very slow and not overly helpful. Our first night we had to stay in a studio apartment when we had paid for a one bedroom apartment with a sea view. We were compensated by getting the safe for free for the rest of the 10 days but still it kind of ruined the first day as we couldn't relax. The cleaners only came twice through the whole 10 days we were there. Although saying that, there were no cockroaches or ants, etc anywhere to be found and the weather was extremely hot. It's perfect for young people who just want to party and the location is unreal!! Especially for the price! But if you're looking for a nice relaxing holiday, I would definitely go stay in the old town.

I wouldn't give it one star we arrived at 10 in morning told we couldn't check in till 4 so we spent time round pool buying drinks at pool bar went back at 2 still not ready so went back at 4 then they told us where not staying here so we said ok they moved us next door to another hotel they wouldn't take us then they took us further down street it was a disgrace I wouldn't have let my dog stay there they told us it's either this or nothing we paid to stay in a hotel with a pool and a bar and I wasn't looking good that we would stay here so we went back up and sat in lobby till our holiday provider sorted the problem we was getting a bit angry and the stuff where really rude and didn't want to help us so we sat there and wouldn't move got to half past 7 them all of a sudden they had rooms for us because the holiday provider got in touch with manager they shudnt be selling rooms if they isn't any all we could here for 5 days were builders doing there work
