It began with check-in. I had called the night before to assure I was paying for two nights and that I needed a first floor room as I am disabled and had recently suffered a fall. My daughter became quite ill on the 13th, so we were unable to make it until Friday. I want to stress that I was paying for both days. I was told it was okay and that someone was there 24/7. When we checked in on Friday, this rude, nasty person at the desk said we were a no show and we had to take a room on the second floor. She would not listen, interrupted me, and said she had personally spoken with me twice and that I never requested a first floor room. We were told we had to wait until after 2:00 and there were no first rooms available. When I challenged her info, all of a sudden a first floor room became available. Worst customer service, ever! When we got to the wedding, we were told by the other grandparents that they were treated in the same manner, so it was not just my observation! The TV never worked and we had 2 bath towels for 3 people. It definitely stressed us out as the weather was bad, we were in a strange area and it was my first granddaughter’s wedding. We will never use a property in this group again! It truly was horrible customer service!!

Everything was clean. The hot tub was 103 and clean. The front desk staff was very cordial and welcoming. Thank you.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The setting was very quiet which was important to us. There were no tourist information materials in the lobby that you would normally find. Also no information was located in the room such as hotel services, local restaurants, etc. Did not have an exercise room that we could find.

Very impressed with the hotel staff very friendly and accomodating. Our hotel room was clean, and the location was very quiet, the most rest I've ever gotten in a hotel room. The location is a little out of the way but worth the drive in the country. Close to local winery and lakes, which we enjoyed both. Will definitly return if I'm looking to stay in the area. Would like to bring the rest of my family next time.

Hotel was great very nice breakfast, people were great. Town has no where to eat later you have to drive to Alexandria other than that a great experience. Will use this hotel again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and concerns. We are sorry to hear about your most recent experience and did want to take a moment to personally apologize. Our staff takes great pride in providing top notch service and it sounds as though we fell short with your reservation. Unfortunately, our hotel does not have an elevator and this can present a problem if someone does not convey the necessity for a first floor room. We do train our staff to make notes within the system if someone does request a first floor room. We do work extremely hard to honor all requests; however, there may be times where we are sold out and unable to accommodate the request. Your first floor room was unavailable upon arrival; however, we did have a guest check out during the same time. This allowed my staff to work diligently to clean the room and accommodate your request without having you wait too long. Moreover, we are sorry to hear you had complications with your room. Our hotel is staffed 24 hours a day and would’ve been more than happy to assist with dropping off additional towels or checking on your TV. Many of these issues can be resolved in minutes and completed with a call to our front desk. We do thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We do apologize if our team added any additional stress during this joyous time. Congratulations to your entire family on a beautiful wedding for your granddaughter.

quiet, well maintained lodging

best hotel stay i've ever had

Very impressed with the hotel staff very friendly and accomodating. Our hotel room was clean, and the location was very quiet, the most rest I've ever gotten in a hotel room. The location is a little out of the way but worth the drive in the country. Close to local winery and lakes, which we enjoyed both. Will definitly return if I'm looking to stay in the area. Would like to bring the rest of my family next time.

Was going from St. Cloud to Perham for work and saw that Parkers prairie was not far out of the way. Front desk staff could not have been nicer, hallways were well lit, room was spotless and beds were very comfortable. Got a great nights sleep and breakfast was just right. A few low carb items for me and typical continental items for my technician. Easy check-in and check out.
