No remote in room and went to front desk to make them aware. Front desk stated they would let the maintenance man know and he would bring the remote, which he never did. The front window of the room was totally cracked in many places and then taped together, not a lot of security. The shower knob fell off in my hand into the tub when I turned the shower water on. I also saw a large bug/beetle crawling on the toilet. Way to many significant issues with this hotel and their rooms.

Very dirty Will never stay again

Worst room ever. Roaches & cigarette stank. Barricaded door with extra furniture and kept the .45 loaded and ready. Tub was dirtier than some abounded houses I’ve seen. Door barely locked. Pretty much a great place if you are filming a horror movie. Pretty sure there was already blood on the floor. No lamps. No garbage cans. No lights. Weird as can be. I barely slept and believe me - I sleep anywhere. Random car alarms at all hours. Loud noises. Was pretty sure I was going go end up on the news just by staying there! Definitely not on my list to return to. Ever. Unless someone takes me there to kill me.

I discovered bed bugs running around on the bathroom floor, from under the bed, and under the fridge. There were also roaches. I told the night clerk, but he would not agree refund.

Nothing. Didnt satisfy my neefs and found cockroaches in bathroom

Unfortunately the place was smelly and had roaches. The smoke detectors chirped all night. Showered upon and after arrival.

Our room has some cosmetic flaws (wall paper peeling, furniture looked pretty beat up) but worked for what we needed. We sure couldn't find another hotel with a fridge and microwave for four nights for such a great price! The location is directly across from the airport, but the noise didn't bother me, my husband or our 6 month old; we all slept through the night fine. Housekeeping came daily and made the bed, cleaned the bathroom, provided fresh towels and emptied the trash (and they never bothered us when we had the do not disturb sign up while our daughter was napping.

We traveled with my parents to a family reunion. I was a little disapointed that they couldn't get our rooms beside each other. The rooms were not that bad, but it was under construction and behind a Days Inn. They were sharing towels and Ice Machine, it was all very confusing. Our parents rooms was updated, so they had a better bathroom. We couldn't use ours because the water in the shower wouldn't adjust, scalding hot water is all that would come out. The noise of the airport wasn't really an issue, I think we were too tired to notice. Overall, I think I might find other accommodations next year.

Rooms smelled of smoke, peeling wallpaper, mold issues, guest services did not clean the room in between nights, hot water is scalding hot and difficult to manage, heating was insufficient, noisy location next to airport, guest services did not perform maintenance as promised

This was probably a nice hotel a long time ago. The "Royal Extended Stay" has evidently bought the "Days Inn" and we stayed in the Days Inn part because the man told us the RES had really bad rooms and the DI had the nice rooms. The hotel was not so bad that we left, but if we had paid more, I would have been really upset. It was not the cleanest place for sure and there was a musty smell to the room. The pool was closed by the health department, so that should speak for it all.

Once we checked in, the Pool was closed by the City for Cleaning (the water was GREEN!!). There was Extensive Water Damage to the walls near the stairway with an infestation of Beetles!! It was close to the Airport and close to Restaurants.

Not too bad... I expected much worse for the price. Definitely take advantage of the free 24 hour airport shuttle and free breakfast. The hotel becomes a pretty good deal if you will be using those perks. The room was clean and the shampoo/soap etc was nice. Also there is a pool and laundry room. A good place to stay for the night!

It was a good stay. The manager was nice and polite, however the first full day the maid kept trying to come in while I tried to sleep. Kind of noisy because it is next to the airport runway but it wasn't to bad. It was better than another hotel we stayed in and the price was great! We would stay there again no doubt about that the price was great. [...] was the same price as the rates the hotel were and the other sites had it costing more.

It is in a great location and our experience was there was fantastic. I would recommend to all my friends and family.

This hotel was a great bargin. The room was clean with everything in place. I called the office 2 times, both calls were answered politely and quickly. Both my wife and I would stay in this hotel again. It is an older hotel therefore it does not look new. There is an airport across the street so there is noise from there. But it didn't seem to have much air traffic at night. The high priced hotels down the road have the same noise. Overall it was a pleasent stay for the 2 nights we were there and it didn't hurt the budget at all.

It was at one point a part of one single hotel chain. but it seems that maintinencing was costly so... this one strip of rooms that was once with all of the hotel are (now run down &) deemed with a new name in order to destinguish the two as different and "rankings". I give both hotel's a one star... My friend and i were in an empty office waiting 10 min before getting hung up on and finding that the other hotel office ran the hotel across the way & contacting the desk on the phone resulted in hearing a hello and then getting disconnected.

First the hotel is located behind Days Inn on a extremely busy 50 mph+ highway. The car mechanics must stay busy as everyone is speeding and rag the hell out of their cars.Just too congested for my likes. Lots of fast food joints mostly catering to Alcoa. The room smelled awful, I had to ride to Maryville to Walmart and get disinfectant. There was a Mt Dew light can in the corner and was still there even after it was cleaned the next day. The bed linen was blood stained and had cigarette holes. The window curtains where barely hanging by half the hooks. The walls needed painting. The furniture smelled like they picked it up off the street. The desk drawer was held up by the chair, when the chair was pulled out, the desk drawer hit the floor. Cops showed up at the next door room and was looking for a runaway, all the commotion woke me up. I didn't even sleep between the sheets. TV guide doesn't corispond to the channels received. THIS IS S FLOP HOUSE. Used probably by locals for sex. Stay in Maryville or Sweatwater, saving the $5 isn't worth it. I got stuck here for 2 days and charged on my card immediately, so canceling would take about 5-10 for credit. PASS THIS PLACE UP. I've stayed in campgrounds with better conditions. If it hadn't of rained and I on a MC, I'd of been at the KOA in Tellico for half the price.

The staff was extremely helpful and eager to please.
