Multiple police cruisers were out front when I arrived. I had to park about 35 yards from the front door. , which was a nice walk if I was at a Walmart. Then the front doors were locked and a sign taped up on the door that said full. I had to bang on the door to get in and tell them I had a reservation. The clerk behind the counter had her two cute little dogs with her behind the counter, which was the only redeeming factor for the checkin.

Hotel is a bit old. Some cleaning and refresh would do improve it significantly. Staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. Elevator is dirty and was concerned with its performance (jumped a bit on entering). Breakfast was very good. Tub had staining. Would never take a bath in it and even hesitated to take a shower. Rubbed the affected areas and decided to go ahead and shower.

The hotel itself was OK. Unfortunately the surrounding area was well populated with the unhoused. It felt very busy and unsafe.

The entire area is very sketchy with aggressive homeless people. I was walking my dogs in the early morning and an apparently homeless woman with a big dog started screaming obscenities at me because I disturbed HER! This seems to be the norm for Albuquerque, though, the whole city is trash. None of the entry door locks work with the room key card so you have to go all the way around to the front to get in if you are parked at the back or side. The property needs a makeover but the area around it is for crap so I can see where it is pointless.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately hotel is in need of some upgrades. It is a pet friendly hotel, but it really smells like it. You can smell the pet urine in the hallway and in the room. The area outside has lots of homeless around the area.

The hotel was super, the area outside the property was questtionable at best

Overall the hotel is ok. The beds are decent for a 1 night stay. The cleaniness is ok. The area of the hotel is a sketchy but overall ok.

Checked in. First room couldn’t access the room. Door lock wasn’t working. Second room fold out bed sheets were filthy. Hotel looked great on the outside, inside looked like a roach motel.

The key cards did not work, the flooring has holes in carpet and tattered. Lacks regular maintenance.

Initial room had a messed up door latch. Would not unlock more times than not. Access to nearby exit worth key card doesn't work, didn't work when i was here 6 months ago. Security camera at rear exit points at roof tiles on door overhang, another camera is falling out of wall. Things look dirty.

doors slamming at all hours of the night, random alarm goes off at 3AM lights and fan in the bathroom not working,

Passed its prime. Too much to mention.

Property was acceptable, room was fine. Area around is sketchy. We stayed at this property because we had a trailer stolen at the mid-town property - which is in an even sketchier area yet someone had their catalytic converter stolen overnight at this property. What is it with Albuquerque?

The carpeted floors were wet, it reeked of dog urine. Staff was ok at best- seemed bothered. Expected better from la Quinta Inn….

Did not have bath towels in room. Door look stopped working. Room was comfortable. Good breakfast layout. Staff was friendly. We know that it is difficult for business to staff today.

Dirty room, parking space limited

The property was fine, staff very friendly. Location next to the highway made for a lot of noise, especially with my room facing the highway. Ask for a room facing away from the highway. Area around the property, while there are other hotels, is very industrial with some sketchy characters milling around
