I was pleasantly surprised after staying in this very economical, large hotel convenient to all routes and Albequerque environs. The staff was particularly friendly and polite. David took great care in how our car rentals were parked to ensure there was no damage to our vehicles. He assisted me with me door key (card), etc. When I could not make a breakfast time downstairs ( a fine breakfast is offered every morning at this hotel.) Lisa saw that I had a bagel with cream cheese, jelly and butter brought up to my room -- I did not expect that at all and appreciated the attention to my situation as I did not feel too good that day. All in all, I would stay there again in the future when I return to this lovely state. Marlena Karami

Every time we go through Albuquerque we stay at this hotel. The room is always so clean and comfortable, and we love the indoor pool! The only negative thing that happened was that the hot tub was cold in the morning, but I assume it was because they had to change the water, so that is understandable. We love the breakfast too, with the green chili sauce...we look forward to it every time!

For what I paid I have zero issues w/ this place. Was it a Marriott no, but you get what you pay for and if you want the Marriott then go pay their prices.

Although the hotel is older, the comfort of the room was nice. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Bathroom was acceptable as well. The staff (Josh) was extremely helpful and courteous. The breakfast has the most delicious Biscuits and Gravy. If you like them. For the price you pay for this hotel I would most definitely stay there again. It might not be a 3,4 or 5 Star Hotel. It was more comfortable the some of the 3-5 Star Hotels I have stayed in. Oh and the pool. It’s amazing as well. Thank you Gayle

Pros: -The price was good. -Had both refrigerator & microwave -Easy check in -Friendly staff -Noon check out -Breakfast included Cons: -Horrible parking -Odd location -Takes quite a while to get back on I-25 -Balcony was unstable -1 bed was taller than the other -Older hotel -Could hear traffic, was hard to fall asleep -Patio door didn't not shut properly * If you are looking for a hotel right off I-25 and don't mind paying 90 bucks a night try Holiday Inn & Suites N. I-25 on Jefferson St. It's literally right off the interstate and the rooms are way quieter than this hotel. Overall, it was an okay hotel experience...we got what we paid for.

Windy night, curtain blowing with patio door closed

The staff at this location were friendly and helpful. There was a complimentary shuttle to the cliffs amusement park and ride for the balloon festival, which was really nice. The kitchen provided a good continental breakfast. The room was facing the highway with a single pane sliding glass door which really allowed the highway sounds into the room! The wallpaper was peeling, carpet pulled up in some places, sink slightly discolored, curtains really warn down, and sounds were loud from other rooms. The pool was nice, clean, and pretty warm. The hot water in the room was really hot and could burn little kids hands if not supervised. The location is easy to find after you have been there once, but took a second time around the block the first time. The microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker were nice amenities. Overall an okay stay to save money. It does look like they are partially remodeling, however I really think better sound proofing would be the best upgrade.

The hotel was right off the freeway. Chicken was easy and staff were great. Breakfast in the morning was biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and green chile which was a nice addition.

small rooms, door to balcony didn't work, lots of noise, cheap plywood housing for fridge. Pillows are not comfortable and the hotel is run down. Best way I can describe this hotel is cheap and white trashy, you may only pay 40 for the room for the night but you can tell you are getting a cheap room.

Hotel is old and smells moldy. It seems that the local transients are given vouchers to stay.

Was one of the best stays ever. Clean, convenient and the breakfast was amazing

Great value, clean, refreshed decor, I was very impressed !

Amazing hotel amenities, cleanliness, accessibility, staff, location. Great for the prizes is right.

Not what we expected. Night crew inept and unqualified.

Night shift could not run credit card. Kept telling me my cc was declined. Other guest complaining of bed bugs. Non plus experience.

Need updating carpets and sink. Bed was comfortable

I reserved a handicap acessible room and all I got was aregular room with handicap bars in the bathroom, Toilet was small. The bed felt like cardboard. . People got stuck in the elevator. I had no other option kus we drove in for the GON. I will never stay at a Howard Johnson again!!

We were on the 4th floor, it was quiet and clean. Breakfast good, very happy.

Hotel was nice, and staff was super nice, however there was a couple of Fiber One wrappers, chunks and crumbs under the bed.

Parking small no true exit to major streets. Heat in room not plesant ,broken titles in room ,small tv's in room ,bathroom fans dont wo rk and no heat in bathroom.

Hotel is old and smells moldy. It seems that the local transients are given vouchers to stay.
