Hotel Blue-Albuquerque Downtown

My 8 year old daughter and I stayed here for two days. We liked the location which was away from really busy streets. The beds were very comfortable and the room had a mini fridge and microwave. We were there on 100+ degree days so the pool was very welcome and had shade trees to get out of the sun. The pool could have been a bit cleaner though. We plan on staying at Hotel Blue again next time we are in town.

Nice and quiet, a little small but decent. That's all I got to say about that

While I was shut out of the normal "conference center hotels", I was able to get into the Hotel Blue. Located on the far side of the Central Ave. bars and restaurants, only a few blocks away from the after-hours "action", I enjoyed my quick walk back at the end of each night! The beds are CRAZY comfortable (foam/form fitting), and the free breakfast was a nice touch to start my long days.

Basic room, excellent location, free breakfast. Best reason to stay here: free shuttle bus anywhere you need to go! Nothing to complain about for $75/night!!

Hotel was mostly what I was looking for- economical, close to event I was attending, and included a shuttle to the airport.

Down-at-the-heels hotel in a still mainly rundown part of Downtown Albuquerque. Toilet stopped working in the middle of the night, and the overall feeling was of being in a hotel that's several steps up from a dive.

Very pleasant staff and quite willing to shuttle you to train station, airport, other local places. Quaint Art Deco restaurant across the street with Italian food and decent wine.

Room was clean, updated and always enjoy a fridge and microwave for leftovers. Check in was exceptional with Scottish hospitality at it's best. Outdoor hallways allow great views of the city and sunset, as well as the homeless in distress. As with most downtown neighborhoods, there were multiple homeless people and did not feel going for a stroll was a smart thing to do.

My experience was pleasant. The staff were patient and helpful. The property is older but well kept.

I thought the price was a little high for the quality of the motel. Throughout the night, I heard several noisy homeless people at the park across the street, they were hollering and making noise. I wasn't confident with my safety nor felt comfortable parking my car in the fenced parking lot.

Nice location, good breakfast, parking was limited if you came in after 9p.m.,staff was available for directions, printed out directions if you needed them...

I really like this hotel. I stay here every time I am in Albuquerque. It is within walking distance to everything that I need downtown. Friendly reception, nice beds, good breakfast.

It's not a nice as last year not as friendly and I didn't like the fact that I found someone else things on side of bed.what more do you want me to say

The Hotel is very nice and we enjoyed the it. The Rooms are large and the place of Hotel ist central to City. For me very ok Hotel

Hotel Blue was exactly what I was looking for. A shuttle from the airport, downtown location, a very good breakfast all at an affordable rate. I would recommend them.

It is an older hotel. The doors of the rooms are in need of paint, or replacement, but there is a sound value if you look past the exterior, and the neighborhood. I was concerned when I got there and saw the cars are in a fenced in lot and the hotel is in a unique location. But don't let that fool you. The inside is quite nice, the rooms were comfortable and breakfast (which was served early enough for us to actually eat it!) was awesome. I will be back in town in a few weeks and will stay there again. That sort of says it all, doesn't it?

It was a nice location, however for the price it was an average hotel. The hotel was clean and passable, not exemplary.

I was expecting something nicer. When we got there I thought we were at the wrong hotel. It feels like it could use a round of remodeling. The room have exterior entrances which was not obvious from photos. Carpets need replacing. However, the bed was one of the most comfortable ever. Everything was clean and the staff were awesome. I would give it a solid 3 overall and just warn people to look carefully.

Enjoyed my stay Breakfast and courtesy shuttle very much appreciated

First impressions, hotel can use a little bit of a face lift. A fresh coat of paint would go a long way. But once I got beyond the exterior, the inside of the lobby and common areas were clean, well kept, and inviting. Continental breakfast was great and the variety was more than just cereal. I had a great breakfast to start me off on my day. Only other complaint would be the parking. Hotel does not supply enough parking. I had to drive around looking for street parking the night I came back to the hotel late. The hotel offered to pay for a lot a couple blocks away, but I found that inconvenient and found a street parking spot across the street.
