Eh.. it was okay.. nothing spectacular

This hotel is in the center of our town. I always thought it was beautiful so when I got married I wanted to stay here... well it was not “all that” it was just a more expensive Sheraton hotel.. that was our first choice because of the pool but we ended up going with hotel Albuquerque... always go with your gut. We did a tour of Sheraton uptown and they were very nice and communication was awesome even if we weren’t having the wedding there... the people at hotel Albuquerque didn’t speak to us once they weren’t even nice at check in very rude. Next time for special occasions we will stick the the Sheraton.

I felt the cleanlinees of the room was dismal. The shower although hot was difficult to set a good temp. due to the fact that facets didn't work well, and a good amount of water was coming out of the tub outlet and not the shower head. Staff was great!

the decor is tired and facility overall needs updating although the positives are a beautiful and historical structure. the bathroom is cramped with door impeding on commode use, a small lavatory in the bathroom and old fiberglass style tub and tired fixtures. room is spacious and furniture pretty, generous. no extra blankets, pillows or bed throw which is always helpful. nice to have device charging panel on the nightstands.
