It was smooth experience for a business trip, a good night sleep in a comfy room.

Walked up to the counter while a black gentleman was working. He seemed very busy and told me that someone would be with me shortly and apologized. Another man soon appeared behind the counter, this man didn't even acknowledge my presence. I assumed maybe he was also busy, but he was watching the Cowboys v Rams game on TV. I stood there for another 7-10 mins before the original employee came back and began to check me in. This guy was very polite and very nice. I asked if they had any non-smoking rooms available as I mistakenly booked a smoking room. He told me they did not but he would come to the room and spray some air freshener to help quell the cigarette smell. When my family and I got to the room, we realized the smell was tolerable so I called the front desk and let the man know he didn't need to bother with the spray. He said "thank you, I have the bottle in my hand right now and was heading your way." I wish I had gotten his name because he was great.

Bathroom was dirty. Not impressed with a beer bottle opener mounted on wall. No fridge or microwave. Grounds not well maintained. Sketchy people around in the evening. Slow service at breakfast. Waitress spilled coffee on my hand and never acknowledged or apologized. Close to restaurants in the area.

Pictures of the rooms misleading. Although convenient location, room itself and amenities so-so.

It was great to stay there did not like how the pool was

Awful, only available room was smoking, when we checked in the room had not been cleaned. We left, they did refund our money....

Dear Orbitz, the hotel stay at the Quality Inn in Elizabeth City, NC was top notch! for the price given, the booking was well worth. To top it off, the live bands performing at night in the restaurant were a wonderful surprise. Thank you. CJones

Maintenance quick to fix blown lightbulb. Room clean. Beds very comfortable and hotel quiet. Family-friendly location with older hotel.

Stayed there for 9 hours total and it was horrible, arrived later in the evening and oyr door wouldnt lock. The only available room was smoking and we couldnt stand the smell, then they "found" a room with 2 double beds that was repaired after a leak. There was the biggest cockroach climbing on the wall outside but we needed a place to stay so we managed.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and in good condition. The room was a little small but the bed was very comfortable.

The hotels were sufficient for our use. The town was not what we expected. The food was "ok". Not an area I would like to return to in the near future.

Nice, large bed and the room was clean. There were some noisey guests but, they weren't too bad.

Basically good, but Friday night the DJ party at the bar meant smokers and telephoners hanging outside the front door and adjacent to our pool side room It was loud talking until 2 AM. It would have been quieter street side. AND, the internet was not working. I had to go sit in the lobby, not unpleasant, as the coffee urn was full. But I did choose this place for the internet.

The staff was very friendly. The price ok. But the corridors and the rooms smell. These guys might want to do something about it. And when people walk on the corridors on the first floor, everything shakes.

I had a queen non smoking room which was very clean including microwave, refrigerator, etc. The outdoor pool was very nice and clean also. A small fitness room with adequate equipment. Full breakfast was included with 4 menu choices. I will definitely stay there again when I am in the area.

Clean comfy room, wireless connection slow, Breakfast comes with the room, however service is rushed and @ times innatentive.
