Couldn't turn the heat off And water stains on the floor that were still wet??

Staff was great ,awesome value and great location actually booking another date for some more business

Good value for money, esp when you just need a place to crash and shower. Comfy bed, clean bathroom.

Basic hotel on Rt 9 near Albany. Room was in back, and was quieter that I would have expected. Access to the hotel is complicated - it cannot be reached directly from Rt. 9.

friendly staff, comfortable, clean fresh linens, not immaculate there missed behind and under things but for the price it was clean. needs a bit o maintenance, Close to schools near to food and shopping, a bit tricky to get into but a good value or a short stay or school visit.

I requested a non-smoking room with two queen beds for my family of four. Unfortunately, it reeked of stale smoke. The door had a non-smoking room sign but it sure didn't smell like it. Don't request room 131! For $85 for the one night we where there I think the rooms could have been better. The AC unit smelled of unpleasant burnt smoke so we didn't use that. Even with the windows open all night it didn't help with the smell. Breakfast was okay. It was pancakes and English muffins. The eatery was small with just four tables. Next visit, I will spend a little more and find better a better place to stay.

Great location, nice large rooms. Friendly staff. Would stay here again.

Close to everything. Intresyate, shopping, many restaurants

Shabby room and service lacking...the pool is cold so watch out!

This hotel is very conveniently located for accessing the Albany airport. The front desk staff were very friendly (but very young) and wanted to be helpful, but were unable to help us with the big issue which was the non-smoking room was so smokey smelling we couldn't stand it. I was worried all night that our son with asthma was going to have an attack. It was 25 degrees out and we slept with the windows open. The mattress was also like a taco, it folded so much in the middle my husband and I thought we might never get out of it. The front desk staff made the pretense of wanting to help, but said there were no empty rooms to move us to. Furthermore, the non-smoking room next door had people standing in the doorway and smoking all evening. Needless to say, I would not stay there again and could not recommend this hotel to anyone (unless they were a smoker).

I book a king bed for my husband and I as we were taking a night off from the kids and we wanted a romantic night. We got there and were told the only room available was a double, so our romantic night consisted of my husband in one full bed and myself in another. We were very dispointed. We would have just stayed home and saved the money!

basic hotel room. fine for a 1-2 night stay, considering the price. hotel room needs some work and painting, as there were numerous marks and spots on the walls. next door to a 24 hour ambulance station, so don't be shocked when you here a loud alarm go off in the middle of the night.

My girlfriend and I stayed in the jacuzzi room. Place was clean, and spacious. Parking was good as well. Would stay again if in the area.

staff was friendly and helpful. room plain and simple- shower and bath clean great water pressure- king bed very comfortable and useful. only downer was antique tv small screen.

Clean, decent room. Nice staff. Would stay again if needed to crash for a night before continuing on a trip. Considering the price, you can't go wrong here.

I stay in hotels a lot for someone who isn't a rock star. Most hotel staff are polite, some aren't, but few are so friendly that you see guests hanging around in the lobby just to talk to them. What's more, their friendliness seems to rub off on guests, so that eating breakfast in a lobby full of strangers becomes very pleasant. The rooms themselves are what you'd expect for what you pay- comprable with Days Inn, HoJo, etc. But you get good, free wi-fi, you abut a very nice restaurant, you get a free breakfast with waffle-maker, and little niceties like shower caps and conditioner that very few budget hotels provide these days. The only thing keeping me from giving it a higher rating is that it's essentially on a one-way street- although it's very close to a U-turn, and even though Central Ave in Albany (where I usually stay) isn't a one-way street, it really should be considered one.

This hotel was ideal from the standpoint of my necessary personal business. I also had great access to restaurants of choice and good access to major highways. I would stay there again.

As a retired airline pilot, I have stayed in a LOT of hotels in 31 years. This one was very clean with new bathroom tub, fixtures, etc. but the carpets were in need of cleaning/and/or replacement. Location was o.k. and not far from airport, and the overall value (pricing) was my factor for my purposes, I would stay again.

Thankfully I was only staying one night. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. There were holes in the walls. The furnishing had a thick layer of dust. I could get better pillows at Dollar General. The worst part was the thin walls. One of the neighbors had a TV going at was probably a normal volume but I could hear it enough to annoy me. I had to fall asleep with my own TV on just to drown out the muffles. I have to go to Albany again in November and you can bet it won't be at the Travel Lodge.

Because I had asked for two beds, and such a room was unavailable, I was upgraded to the executive suite, which was essentially a small apartment with a full size kitchen, hot tub, etc. Problem was that it was not properly cleaned. The sink, tub, etc had been cleaned, and the sheets were clean. But the toothbrush holder and soap dish were filthy with caked on toothpaste and soap. The hot tub, when filled, had all kinds of debris and bugs floating in the water. The bathroom floor had streaks where the dirty mop water hadn't been rinsed. Vacuum marks showed the center of the rooms had been done, but around the bed and nightstands were dirty. The glass topped table--obviously not cleaned. Worst part: when I told them about it at the front desk, one employee knew immediately what I was talking about, and remarked to the other that this had happened before.
