We stayed 3 nights. The second the room was not cleaned even when we asked in the fr t desk. The third night we had to ask at 3:00 pm, at 4:30, and finally at 5 we spoke to a cleaning lady asking her to do our room. All this time we were not in the room.

Comfortable enough for the few days I needed it. Need more Parking space.

Loved it . First time me and my wife stayed in a hotel and she loved it. Except it was missing a microwave and we needed it since we stayed 3 nights.

did not stay here...checked in and checked out right away...hotel wouldn't credit me because they claim they held the room for me ...I booked hotel within 3 hours and then when I found out was a dump.. ORBITZ should take them off their booking site because they are not even 1 star..deceiving

MOST REPULSIVE HOTEL!!!! Hands down worst hotel stay ever. I will NEVER return. I stayed 1 night on 5/20. As soon as I walked thru the front doors, you can smell smoke and a stench that was unbearable. The hotel room itself was repulsive to stay in. Room was tiny but that was least of my concerns. Unfortunately all hotels in the surrounding areas were sold out for graduation, so I has no option to even leave and get another hotel. The room smelled and looked like it hasn't been cleaned in years. The desk chair was filthy that I could not even sit on it. Spiders on the windows, dust and dirt covered the entire room. I was so repulsed I didn't even want to lay on the bed, because I was scared of getting bed bugs!!! Staff was rude when I told them the hair dryer was broken and fuse in bathroom was also broken. I was so disgusted I did not even use the towels in the bathroom to dry off. I used tissues to dry myself off. Bathroom floor had hair all over it and toilet did not flush properly. This hotel is a complete dump and they have no right charging $120 a night. The carpet is filthy and all you can smell is cigarette smoke and mildew in the room. I made the mistake of leaving some clothes in the room and called same day and next day and nobody can find my clothes. How does housekeeping not see them?! I called customer service to file a complaint. The owner of this hotel should be ashamed of what a complete dump!!!

Front desk night staff - she was warm, helpful, (Elizabeth?) welcoming -she alone makes it worth staying there. The Cleaning staff, likewise , helpful and warm, offering to help. The day male staff at front desk, accommodating but not terribly friendly nor professional in demeanor. Someone or their dog pooped on the stairs (no elevator) and it wasn't addressed for hours because the staff was cleaning rooms - a tad short staffed. Maintenance (room was hot) was curt, disdainful and not too bright. But! The room was clean....that matters. Overall, wouldn't stay again, but in a pinch it was ok.

This hotel is behind a restaurant and across the street from a major shopping mall. There are plenty of restaurants on Wolf Rd and there are more in the mall. The motel is older but well kept. My room was clean and comfortable. I have stayed there before when in town and till stay there again when in Albany.

Spent one night after a friend's wedding. The room was small, but it was clean and had everything we needed. Desk staff was excellent.

This wasn't a ritzy room by any means, but it was also only about $60 for the night. At that price I'm not expecting ritzy. They had a nice gym room, a nice tv in the room I stayed in, and comfy beds. It's located within walking distance of a mall for dinner. The only downside was that you could hear people in the hall. No biggie to me at that price.

We were traveling back from Maine and needed a place to stop for the night. This fit the bill perfectly. It also allowed our pets. It's in a perfect location and the rooms were surprisingly really nice for the price per night and it's in a very safe area. Only complaint if you can call it that is they could use some weather stripping around the doors. There was a somewhat significant gap around the bottom of the door which let in a lot of hallway light into the room in the middle of the night. That would be nit picky though. I would 100% stay here again.

Efficient, clean. I felt welcome. The cleaners really did a good job. The breakfast was great. I already booked my next trip.

Our stay started off on a bad foot. We arrived at the motel very late (4:30 a.m.) due to flight delays. Although our room had been booked and paid for in advance thru a travel service the desk clerk gave us a very hard time. Saying that he had already closed his books for the day he could not give us a room. When I told him we were tired, achy, and hungry he said I had an attitude and would not give us a room. When I told him that the room was already paid for and showed him the confirmation from the travel service he relented but took his time getting me the key. No elevator or anyone to help carry 4 suitcases up a STEEP flight of stairs. The room itself was very shabby. The finish on the dresser/tv stand was peeled away in large sections. The curtains didn't close correctly. There was paint spatter on a large section of the carpet. In spite of the run-down condition of the room it was clean. The cleaning staff were very courteous, asking if we needed anything whenever they saw us. The desk staff on the day shift were courteous also.

Searched many places in the area for a nice hotel and a good rating. This place knocked me out of the park, it was a fantastic hotel, though they are renovating, it doesnt take away from the hard everyone puts in to make this hotel great. it has many restaurants around it in any direction as well as the mall across the street. The room was comfortable and clean every night i went to sleep. I would recommend this place to everyone. The breakfast isnt to much to brag about but its just a little meal which is definitely a filler. Love this Hotel

Good value for the money and good location to restaurants

This hotel was okay. Nothing unexpected or out of the ordinary. I needed a place to sleep and it was located in Albany, where I wanted to stay, and near the airport.

Good for those traveling with pets, not terribly shabby, breakfast is just OK.

The hotel was just fine for the price. No frills but clean and quiet.

I've stayed here numerous times in the past, the breakfast is awesome if I'm around long enough to enjoy it. Creaks from divider doors have been removed, rooms tidied up more so than last time I stayed, free shuttle provided from private company. will also provide 24 hour shuttle service for little extra fee, $12 last I asked. Hotel is close to the mall for good eats and treats. Friendliest staff I've ever dealt with.

It is difficult to purchase a mattress that meets all guests’ personal preferences, as some guests prefer a firm mattress and others prefer a soft mattress. We were especially pleased to read your comment: ‘’LOVED IT” However, I was concerned to learn that your room was missing a microwave as all our guest rooms are ‘’SUPPOSED” to have both microwaves and mini refrigerators. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I have alerted our staff to be on the lookout for the room with the missing microwave and to replace it at once. Our owner’s mission statement is: “To provide each and every guest with a clean, safe and FRIENDLY atmosphere with a . . . “SMILE” . . “. The4refore, I was disturbed to note that you mentioned “Customer Service’’ in the “CON” section of your review. Was there an issue with our staff? As mentioned during our telephone conversation today, we have addressed all the issues with our Head Housekeeper and she will be discussing this with the Housekeeper who cleaned the rooms in your area. In the future our Head Housekeeper will be personally inspecting every room prior to the guest's arrival. However, it took some time for the carpet to dry and the cleaning fluid odor to dissipate I was concerned to see that your room was hot. This hotel is behind a restaurant and across the street from a major shopping mall. There are plenty of restaurants on Wolf Rd and there are more in the mall. The motel is older but well kept. My room was clean and comfortable. I have stayed there before when in town and till stay there again when in Albany.

Thank you for taking the time to review our Travelodge, Albany Airport.. We were sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately, due to lack of information, we were unable to address the issues mentioned in your review. We are particularly concerned as we would very much like to address the issues with the door and shower handle. Any information that you could give us would be greatly appreciated. Your comment that the breakfast was “Limited” caused concern as our standard breakfast items consist of assorted muffins, yogurt, mini bagels, apples, bananas, cereal, “Make-your-own” golden waffle, orange juice and coffee. If for some reason our usual breakfast items were not replenished, I sincerely apologize. It is our hope that you will give us an opportunity to show you that we can and WILL do better.
