The breakfast was the worst continental breakfast I have seen for a best western. The bed was horrid for sleeping. Facilities were in poor repair, especially the bathroom.

The room was in a really unclean and poor state. Everything was old. The dust was super thick on the carpets and the curtain. It was so heavy it flared up my dust allergy. The walls had really bad VISIBLE splash stains, that it didn't appear that anyone had ever tried to clean. I don't know. It's a great location to the airport and food, and it seems like a waste for so little care to be taken with actual guest comfort. The staff was really nice though.

The property is not at all as displayed and listed online. The toilet was dirty, of the 4 towels in the bathroom 3 had stains. Also, breakfast advertised online was supposed to be hot-it was not! I rarely leave negative reviews (always leaving room for “shadow of doubt”), but this instance the experience was so negative, had to point things out.

Stayed there many times over the past year. I went to check in last night and they ask for a coincidental fee on my card of $150. I asked why and the GM said they always have. I told him not 5 days ago. He said if I didn’t have it on the card I could leave him cash. The whole thing seamed shady.
The outside of the hotel is very neglected. There were repairs that were needed to be done in the room. Ie. Tub drain and lumpy mattress. Breakfast was good and about what I expected post COVID. It was family friendly with a nice pool. The door to the outside by my room far away from the main entrance and did not lock. You could enter without a key. I had concerns for safety.
This was not the first time we have stayed at this hotel but it will be the last. There were 2 towels for 4 people per room and when asked for more, we were told we would charged. The entire hotel had all doors that were unlocked and did not need a key to access the premise. The smell of marijuana was everywhere you stepped foot and you were every likely to get a contact high when stepping out of your room. The pool area was ridiculous to say the best. There were a crazy number of kids swimming in the pool with absolutely no parental vision in sight. Due to all the people swimming on Saturday the pool was shut down most of Sunday due to cleaning. For a multiple day stay make sure to ask for room service to clean your room. Or else you will not receive cleaning and maybe a few clean towels if you see the maid in the hall. Overall you get what you pay for. So I recommend pay the extra money and stay at a half way decent hotel. The only thing we missed from our stay is being woke up with by Albany police.
