Best Western Albany Airport Inn

The hotel staff was very accommodating. However, the room smelled like smoke and the pool area was freezing.

For the price it is a decent place to stay. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Close to the airport. We would stay here again.

I was attending a conference at a nearby hotel and was looking for a more economical hotel than the venue. This hotel was a great choice! The room was spacious and comfortable after traveling and attending meetings all day. The breakfast offering was reasonable and the front desk staff was very pleasant. I will stay here again for next year’s conference.

Run down, dark dreary hallways could use a vacuum cleaner once in a while.

The pictures posted online are very measling to be a newly renovated hotel. Room facilities are dated and were very smelly. Breakfast subpar. Poor condition of facilities overall. Would not return

Upon arriving the front desk lady did not even acknowledge us standing there at the desk for quite some time and then acted irritated. I think that is her job to nicely check us in. Then upon entering the room tge rug was old and worn and bathroom tile was nasty, along with the tub tile. There was a layer of dust all aroubd the edge of the room, especially between beds and by bedstand. There was even a disposable cuo behind bedstand. The beds were comfortable and hotel in a convenient location. If you have a high tolerance and want a cheap one night stay hotel this is the one for you. I would never stay for vacation here

I was pleasantly surprised for the price. Rom was comfortable, and the shuttle service was very helpful for my early morning flight.

I was traveling with my wife and 10 and 7 year old. We got a late start and didn't arrive at the hotel until after the kids bedtime. My wife put my kids to bed and I unpacked the car. When I got to the room, my wife informed me that the toilet was backed up. I called the front desk and they offered to send maintenance, but I didn't want to have workers in the bathroom when my wife and kids were sleeping, so I asked them to bring me a plunger. They brought it, but didn't really work. In the morning at around 6am I called the front desk and asked if maintenance could finally come in but they told me that maintenance wouldn't be in until 9am, so we essentially had no toilet. Also, one of the beds (the one that me and my 7 year old were sleeping on) was really bad. You could feel the springs just by running your fingers across the top of the mattress. It was REALLY bad! Did the hotel offer me anything for the crappy experience? No, they did not. The people at the front desk were very nice and I think that they were professional enough, but the hotel was really bad and I will never stay at it ever again.

Stayed here a couple times. Very convenient park and fly to Albany Airport.

So convenient to have a bar, restaurant and indoor pool on site. Bartender very accommodating and pleasant. Great family atmosphere.

Everyone was very nice and the best thing was the breakfast.. Mrs Nancy was amazing!

This place is under construction and some remodeling. The room we got (2 adults and one small dog) was way around in back at door 6 which had no secure entry from outside because the door latch was missing. So anyone could enter the building from outside. There was a huge hole in the parking lot that had no caution around it. Anyone could have driven into it and believe me would have damaged their car severely. My boyfriend found some caution barrels near a dumpster and put them around the hole. The curtains in my room were so old and had tears in them. The desk chair had a rip in the seat. I stayed in it anyway and double bolted the door because of the entry problem. Bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was tiny but clean. The breakfast is pretty lame. Last time we come here.

Everything was great (location, staff, room, cleanliness). Just too bad the pool was under construction.

Effortless like it should be. Easy check in, only downside NO ELEVATORS. They gave me a different room on 1st floor prior to assigning a different room.

Front desk check in friendly. Pool has no towels, meaning if you use the ones in the room, you are left with none to dry yourself, asked for extra towel and didn't have any available, they were drying, had to dry myself with the smaller towels, never received towels at all. So bring your own for the pool and if more than 4 stay in the room. We were 5 and just got 4 towels. Shower curtain stained, sink cracked, mold in the shower walls. Breakfast was good as its serving area, nice and clean. They need to upgrade their room/bathroom.

The shuttle driver helped me to the second floor with two bags. I am 86 and there are no elevators.

We needed recommendations for a restaurant and Bobby gave us a wonderful spot. Because it was Sunday and their restaurant was not opened.

Okay...looks a little creepy from the outside...can still smell smoke in the carpets

Excellent for the stops and go for the avid travelers. Overall experience is relaxing and quiet. I would recommend this rest spot.

Nicely appointed, modern, clean, quiet, convienent, utilitarian motel near Albany International Airport. On a major street (Wolf Ave), leading right to the airport, with many choices of better chain restaurants and shops and a few interesting gems. Short term parking for a modest fee and free airport shuttle.
