Historic backdrop and location is a given. Garden Room with view of old city walls was nice. Room amenities were very poor. A small outdated LG TV with poor connection and limited channels. Small old refrigerator that did not cool well. Limited electric sockets in room and none in bathroom. Free mini bar was insulting. Check-in was chaotic, time consuming. We had come to property a day prior March 18, 2023, to confirm an early check in for March 19th as it was our wedding day at 5:30 pm on March 19th. . Reception confirmed early check in for 2:00 pm. however the room was not read until after 3:00 pm. I the bride had no time to shower nor do my hair in time for wedding photos, videography; In fact, we were late for our own wedding!. There were many employees but no attention was given to the fact that we are newlyweds. We were offered water or grapefruit juice only. Breakfast was way below expectations in comparison to other 3-4 star hotels in Jerusalem with hovering wait staff. Room service average and food was below expectations. The gym was an afterthought. In short, we wasted four nights, 20,000 NIS and honeymoon days that we can never get back. Overall oppression environment. I will never recommend the king David hotel in Jerusalem. Glad to have relocated our honeymoon at a true luxury Resort Hotel in the south of Israel.

Nice to have seated check in. Not nice to be meglrvted for an hour and given one small glass of water while waiting Concierge service would have been better not to have one that yo have one thst pretends to help, but doesn’t. Hotel itself was fine , but will not recommend or return.

The build is beautiful. However, the stay is not what it used to be. Breakfast is a fraction of what it was pre-covid. We booked what we thought was a room with breakfast. We went to breakfast every day and no one ever asked for our room # until the last day. When we checked out, they said we had breakfast one day and there was a charge of $64 for that. We said "but we had breakfast every day and no one ever said there was an extra charge". So they charged us $387 for breakfast for six days which we assumed was included. Don't hotels tell you when you are incurring an extra charge (e.g., ordering a drink in the lobby or getting a spa treatment)? Several times, we called the guest services for something missing in our room. It took multiple reminders before we got it. The minibar (now "complimentary") was never replenished in the six days we were there. Next time, we'd try another of Jerusalem's luxury hotels.

Great location, the hotel is very nice

Perfect vacation. The hotel has al lot of history and story to tell. The location is perfect and everything is walkable. Very luxurious! top class!

Its a beautiful place very well located. The rooms are fine, particularly the bathrooms.

A lot of noisy construction going on in hotel Visible to guests off lobby.area.

From the minute we arrived , we knew this was going to be a great experience. Valet parking, upgraded to a balcony room, more closet space than any hotel I’ve ever been in, fruit bowls and chocolates in the room.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at King David Hotel. The breakfast spread was very nice except on Saturday (Sabbath, hence no fresh bread, fresh juice or toaster). It was easy to arrange day trips to various must see and must do sites. The concierge is well-informed and helpful. We did a private tour to Madasa and the Dead Sea and a small group tour to Bethlehem and the Old City. Cabs were readily available but we had to ask most of the drivers to turn on the meter or asked how much they wanted for the trip. There are some good eats in Jerusalem.

My husband and I spent two nights in this wonderful hotel. It was in the perfect location to explore the Old City and all the amazing sites within. Everything inside the hotel, breakfast, the bar, the staff was top notch.

A beautiful, historic hotel with outstanding service and excellent food. Free parking amazed us.

Everything was super. Loved the breakfast..Great location.

I loved everything about this hotel. The breakfast was great and the staff was so nice.

Dear Martin,Thank you for sharing your review about you recent visit. We are very sad to hear about what happened during your check in process and that our concierge was not helpful. Our goal with the check in is to provide the guests a comfortable manner to sit and relax while enjoying some nice local appetizers and beverages with our reception team using their Ipad to do a fast check in process. Our concierge is usually very thorough and helpful with all of our guests and sadly we missed the mark. We have sent your remarks to our management team. We hope you will change your mind and give our hotel a second chance in the near future. Sincerely,JeremyGuest Relations Manager
