If you look this hotel from outside, it seems like it is an three star hotel but if you stay there, then you will know the real picture about this hotel. I booked this hotel via Oyo Rooms, after viewing it first time, it seems like good hotel but later what I found is terrible. The room quality was Ok but there were some areas where it requires high maintainance. No slippers were provided for travellers The service is too poor from management,The staff responds too late on queries They supply drinking water in used mineral water bottle,the quality of water served for drink is terrible. It looks like local muncipality water and very bad to taste,so I ordered the mineral water then cost for it was twice as per MRP. I have told them regarding recent government rules for mineral water bottle costs but none of use, instead of it they were arguing with us. The Wi Fi which doesn't provide range in the room, its network is accessible in the lobby only so I used my mobile for internet.

I went there for a health awareness seminar, it seems to be very old hotel and needs maintenance , washrooms particularly . Conference room okay with very bad sound system. Food and service too was just okay.

The pictures of this hotel says its a very nice hotel but the story is completely different. The hotel is located at a vegetable market place, where vegetable sellers sit at the hotel entrance and nearby stinking....everywhere. Hotel rooms are big enough but hot water is a problem. Staff responds too late on queries. They say the owner doesnt pay salaried on time and so they are not interested to work with pending salaries.....

I made a one day trip to Ahmadabad on 10 th Dec 16 and booked this hotel through Oyo. I selected this property seeing the premium tag attached to it by Oyo and my experience was horrible. 1. The hotel is located very near to the SG highway. 2. From the appearance it is very obvious that nobody visit this property so often because the lift is ugly smelling and the restaurant is not working. Though the restaurant is not functional they room deliver vegetarian food. 3. They supply drinking water in used mineral water bottle.I objected to it but they say the bottle is clean. 4. For two persons they supplied a very small piece of soap. 5. Only one pair of slippers that too of same foot and used. 6. Open Wi Fi which is not secure. I used my mobile for internet. 7. In the night a crowd of people with children checked in making loud noise and banging at doors which broke my sleep. I had to call reception in midnight. Finally I had to tell them that I am about to call the police then the receptionist agreed to intervene. 8. I called the reception to provide breakfast at 0730 for which they promptly agreed (normal breakfast time is 0800 to 1100), and conveniently forgot to arrange the same in the morning. So one of has to go without breakfast. 9. I informed the manager regarding this. He said to inform Oyo. I promptly informed Oyo and nothing concrete happened so far. They are still investigating the matter.....!!!!! 10. The towels supplied were already reached the end of their useful life and felt very rough on the body. Now I am involved in the tiresome process of of convincing Oyo to remove the premium tag of this property so that others won't be cheated seeing that.

We had stayed for a day at the Cambay sapphire. We checked in early at around 6:00am. The room was clean and good room service. The food here is too good. Authentic north indian food. Mr. MansukhBhai was very helpful in giving us travel advice. He promptly arranged for our city tour and also guided us reguarding some places we needed to visit. Overall we had a nice homely experience.

YAtra informed us that it was a 3 star accomodation, however, to our horror, it was located in the most remote possible place, and the hotel was not properly maintained : terrible maintenence. the ac was not working. the washroom taps were not functional. they changed the room, filling it up with room freshener but later the smoke smell emerged. hardly anyone there. we spent an agonising night there. we had specifically asked for family hotel. i dont blame the hotel, they maintain it the way they do, but Yatra can do a better job of understanding and recommending .strangely, my innumerable calls and emails have gone unanswered by them. I want to know if Cambay sAphire is really a 3 star property , and what defines it so..YAtra team is absolutely irresponsible and they need to really pull up their socks if they intend to provide good customer experience. I dont trust yatra anymore. had i done my arrangements myself i would have had a better stay. thumbs down to yatra

hi, i happened to stay in hotel for a day on business trip and was happy to see its location... but entrying in hotel was like a ghost hotel as i was the only one staying there.. average room and pathetic room service.... would not recommend at all

It may have been a good hotel once upon a time. Right now its a tired looking place with tired looking staff. The premises and decor are dull. Service is average bordering on poor. Room has an inbuilt ac which did not work. Poor lighting. Washrooms are not well kept. Taps do not work in bathroom. Cockroaches in washroom and cupboard. Very few channels on tv. No kids channels so child unfriendly. Existing channels had continous reminder for payment or disconnection so subscriptions not paid. Only saving grace is size of room. But what do you do with that alone ? Pricey considering above. Not value for money. Better avoid it esp if you have family.

Pretty average hotel despite very good location. The room conditions were not good at all and the staff had an indifferent attitude. Food was the only good part. The maintenance of rooms and training of staff is an urgent need.

I traveled Ahmedabad for business purpose and chose this hotel due to its location and name of Cambay. But my selection went horribly wrong. The property condition is pathetic and needs lot of attention. Not at all maintained. Rooms are average and poorly maintained. Complimentary breakfast was not having many variety, we were offered Idly chutney, bread butter and puri bhaji only. Staff was not even in the uniform and were very poor in manners. Bathroom was also not perfectly clean. I would suggest to avoid this hotel.
