Riad des Golfs is a perfect oasis in the middle of the chaos of Agadir. The owner and staff were really helpful and pleasant, the rooms were beautifully appointed and clean. It was wonderful to have a pool and sun-loungers even though we stayed for only a couple of days. The food offer in the evenings was delicious, but limited on choice. The breakfast again was limited but beautifully served. We also took the advantage of having a Hammam and massage - one of the best ever but not advised for the faint hearted or shy
I can't begin to sing enough praise for Riad des Golfs. The property itself is absolutely stunning. While it is the perfect place to relax and never leave, it is also a great starting point for golfing nearby or travel around Agadir and the beautiful beaches. The owners are an absolute delight and make guests really feel like family. Highly recommend staying in for a few meals--Fatima and Paule are geniuses in the kitchen and pay attention to the small things. Easily some of the best meals of my life. My favorite place in Morocco and already dreaming of going back.
This family run Hotel has seven wonderfully appointed suites, all mirrored and to the same very high standard , owner Paule & her staff cannot do enough for you , the Hotel oozes class, authentic Moroccan decoration and elegance inside , outside the gardens and pool offer relaxed tranquility , this small Hotel is perfect for golfers as three of Agadir`s finest courses are within walking distance , if relaxation or a cultural visit is your preference this place certainly ticks all the boxes, I would recommend you visit Agadir just to stay here !!
Staying at Riad des Golfs is enough in itself, but as a base for visiting Agadir and surrounding area it is a world away from the large hotels at the beach. The architecture, bedrooms, garden and pool are all beautiful. Fatima's cooking is wonderful so dinners are not to be missed. A taxi was arranged to meet me at the airport and the same amenable and friendly driver was able to take me anywhere I wanted to go including inland to Taroudant for a day. The owner is very helpful and friendly, and I would happily return to this really lovely Riad - it was a joy to stay there.
Just been there to make a reservation for tomorrow. I' ve never been disinsulted in my life. We weren't allowed to go in to see the hotel. They said that they had to call the owner first to let us in. They didn't say how long it would take. They were very rude and they didn't even make the effort to call the owner.
my partner and I were looking for somewhere to stay for a few days where we could relax and hangout in beautiful surroundings and do nothing. Riad des golfs was perfect for this. The room was lovely, the outside spaces serene and the service wonderful. The food was out of this world, some of the best I've eaten anywhere. Thanks for a lovely break Paule, superb.
This was the second time we stayed here. We love the rooms, the pool and garden area as well as the stylish communal area in the main house. The food is excellent, Fatima is brilliant and is a reason in itself to stay here. It is near the Golf courses hence the name, but is only a short drive or taxi journey to Agadir beach. So if you prefer not staying in big chain hotels then this could well be the place for you.
I knew Morrocco already, from North to south, in an adventure kind.. But this time, we just wanted to relax, have some time for us and to stay in a good hotel. The riad is very good: the room have plenty of space, big bathtube, good cleaning services and no noise (only the birds). The breakfast is good, always have fresh orange juice, coffee, milk, pancakes, croissants and delicious jams home made. The pool is quiet and have lots of pretty birds. The dinner was amazing!! Their cook, Fatima, could be in a 5star michelin restaurant. I totally recommend. The place is hard to find the first time, but if you go trough the main avenues to the Golfs, you turn right and then, after 200meters, you have to turn to your right again and just follow until you see a small sign of ryad des golfs. To be honest, seeing all those big hotels in agadir with so many rooms, lots of people, but with feww quality, made me very happy to have choosen this one. It's easier if you rent a car to be in agadir, because it's easy to go around and the taxi drivers never know anything...CJervell
They want to be a luxery Riad! It is a joke. I do not know, who gives all the good reviews. We left after the first night (planed for 4 nights). Ugly rooms. Dirty and very worn state. We will never come back.
We have stayed here for a week. The place itself is very nice: beautiful room, restaurant/lobby and garden. The Moroccan staff is very attentive and friendly. The restaurant in the hotel is not cheap, but the food is very good. While we stayed here, we were the only guests. Maybe that was the reason that the French owners (who are living in the hotel) weren't very happy. We didn't find them very hospitable or welcoming. Another disadvantage is the location of the hotel, more or less in the middle of nowhere. You definitely need your own transport when staying here (you can safely park on the premises).
