Come here for a quick stay in Abudhabi. It is an international brand and they have a good standard but I prefer to come here if I have a business and don't want to pay much. Room is ok and cold enough and it's quite also. I have no ideas about other facilities.
Nothing really special about this city hotel. Rooms are ok but nothing really "special", swimming pool area was not always that clean and the buffet breakfast was quite standard. I'm used to Ibis and Mercure hotels in thailand where the breakfast buffets are much better. Hotel is close to the wtc mall which is very convenient. Twin beds as rooms were quite small, as well the bathroom. For the staff around I would give them a 5 stars! They were very friendly and helpful. Just a quire negative point. In the evening there is nothing to do when you are with your teenage children there. They are not allowed in the sportsbar neither in the karaoke and all the other places where beers are served. So my 17 year old daughter could not join me for a drink....even not a Pepsi.
This place has very central location with almost every thing on arm's length. The hotel does provide many facilities with very good value for money. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Although the hotel does not have its own parking but then public paid parking is to be used.
Arriving at the hotel by taxi early (approximately 8am) we were greeted by the friendly staff and welcomed to reception. Because it was so early we were expecting to have to drop our bags and return around 2pm for check-in however as a room was ready we were welcomed to check in. The Superior Room was a corner room with a view back behind the hotel, and very well appointed. The bed was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was large enough. During our stay at the hotel we ate breakfast (which was a great spread), and ate both at Le Jardin restaurant and Le Beaujolais. Staying during Ramadan, Le Jardin's Iftar was quite good. As we were only in Abu Dhabi for a short period, and being Ramadan, we didn't have opportunity to visit Mood Ingido or the Pergola Bar, however did spent some time in and by the pool. The pool itself is great, although the surrounding seating (cushions etc) is a little aged and could do with replacement. Location wise, this hotel has a great spot, and is walking distance to a lot of shops. Taxis are readily available directly outside the hotel too.
The facilities in the hotel are excellent for the price and we enjoyed out stay, however: The TV in our room turned off every 3 minutes, but we were too lazy to report it Having to sign a bit of paper for breakfast every morning is really disturbing to the meal, can't you just scan the hotel keys or something? (I only remembered this when I got home) we didn't get our VIP Welcome tray! We were on 15th floor, so no road noise Overall excellent value for money. The concierge, Mustafa was a legend, although he quite rightfully thought we were mad for going out in the 50 degree heat.
Aligned with the ACCOR group this hotel is ideally placed in Abu Dhabi ,just one street away from the Big Bus Stop 11 and the WTC mall. The hotel has seen its best days, a little tired. The breakfast supplied all that would be required as did evening dinner. The staff were very courteous and the room facilities adequate
This Hotel is in the center of town. There are many shops, restaurants etc in the immediate vicinity. Staff @ check-in and out very friendly. Clean rooms with all amenities. The room rates are low considering this 4* property. Breakfast buffet just super. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
Amazing staff, easy check in and out, and very nice hotel. I hope we can try to stay longer. We are only doing staycation if we are bored with our work. Thank you for always accommodating us. To all of the staff, kudos. Keep it up!
when ever I had to visit Abu Ahabi Mercure is my first choice because of cost, location and good service. easy check in and check out. Chinese restaurant is expensive but fantastic real taste, many good restaurant out side.
I like the Mercure for the high quality of the dishes and the menu selection. The previous chef Alain Denis has left a print there for ever and the recipe are with original and authentic flavors. If you want to taste real French food, not fusion and modern style, this is the best place to come in Abu Dhabi. Bar on roof top is good with dart and billiard.
