Great wifi, air conditioner, amazing staff, very confortable, soft bed, big bathroom, well located (near Comuna, near train and bus station, near beach, shops, restaurants, etc). And the price is cheap for such a great service.
A center position and a 10 minutes walk from the train and coach station, permit us to have instant access to all comforts and facilities. Unfortunately my high expectations from this hotel we're not totally fulfilled, but for position and the environment we have, I have to admit that we have a good price and quality ratio. I only spent a night (6 PM - 11 AM) but it was enough to notice that the staff was a little bit absent, and that the structure definitely needs a more stable figure at the reception. I booked a standard room and I was really pleased by seeing the evacuation plan attached to the door, less by the double bed (two single beds pushed together) that was really uncomfortable and by the fact that the walls are so thin to allow you to hear what happens in the next room, the airplane preparing to land, and other undefined noise. I close by analysing the bathroom that was alright... The shower is ok for two people, but we had to fight to completely close its door. Some service, would be appreciated.
This hotel was situated fairly close to the train station and was clean and fine. It is a very basic hotel with almost dorm-like accommodations. The people at the desk were very helpful and raised this review from a 3 to a 4. Bruno was extremely helpful with our wanting to navigate around small towns outside of Pescara. You had to pay extra for breakfast but it turned out to be 5 Euros a person. The room was large but sparsely decorated.
Pros: - Large room with comfortable king size bed with firm mattress(actually 2-single beds placed together) - Room was very clean - There was some dust behind the furniture and under the bed, but nothing terrible.(I inspect with a flashlight). It has a wood tile floor instead of carpeting which I really like. - Breakfast was 5 Euro's with eggs, ham & cheese, and pastries. One problem was the ham and cheese cold cuts were only put out once. Once they were gone, you were out of luck. - Refrigerator in the room(BIG plus for Europe) - Staff was friendly and helpful, but not all spoke English well - Free WiFi, but had sluggish response - Bathroom was large and had a stool, but not much counter space. It did have a regular shower stall with good water pressure. - TV was small(19 inch), with many channels and good picture quality, but none in English - Refreshing, cold tap water to drink - There is a beautiful promenade along the beach with good quality restaurants all along - Hotel was very reasonably priced Cons: - Location was OK, but had some issues: The train station is about a 15-minute walk. The main beach area is about 7 blocks down and not a bad walk if you don't mind paying, but the free access beach across the canal is at least a mile away, so be advised.
This is a solid 3 star hotel, ok yes it is a bit dated but it's clean and well maintained. It's about 10 minutes walk to the train station and just next to busy shopping street with all your high street stores. Very nice and polite Reception staff and a big shout out to the lovely gentleman on the night shift who not only knew straight away who we were when we arrived at night, he did not keep us waiting, check in took a minute and we were off to the room as we were in desperate need of a sleep. He also remembered us the next night as we walked in, he was already holding our room key in his hand! That's what I call going and extra mile! I would definitely stay here again!
We met Christian, a staff member who was incredibly helpful. Other than Christian, our stay was miserable. We arrived and we were told to park on the street, because the hotel lot was full. There was no place to park on the street. Several hours later, they offered an alternative that was acceptable, but very late. The front desk clerk seemed annoyed. The beds were about as soft as the street outside the hotel. We had to use our towels to mop up the water from the shower; the maid simply hung up these soaking towels.
Everything you would expect from a good 4 star hotel; the rooms are spacious and very clean; the breakfasts are also plentiful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. It is ideally situated for shopping and a close 10 minute walk to the beach.
We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a longer trip, and had a great stay. The room was nice and clean, not very big, but perfectly adequate for the 2 of us. It has everything you need to be happy and comfortable. The staff are really helpful, professional and friendly. The reception has an array of useful, easily forgotten items like adaptors etc! The location was great for us- close to the beach and pedestrian area but still quiet. It is also situated close to the older side of the town which is definitely worth a visit. The breakfast was a little bit strange- But I think this was mainly due to us being completely useless at speaking Italian. I definitely recommend this hotel.
Very quiet, clean and comfortable! The front desk also has things like adapters, toothbrushes and razors in case you forgot yours. The hotel is a short 10/15 minute walk to the beach and all of the great seaside restaurants! There was free wifi with no password needed. One of the best sleeps I had on my trip to Italy!
close to the tangenziale, to the beach, the city & the rest area across the river. This logistical advantage is of course combined with noise. For business-people staying 1-3 nights quite excellent. Very tight garage for small cars only. the walls of the room are quite light, telephone calls from the neighbour can be followed... Breakfast is good, only fresh orange juice could be served... nonetheless i can recommend the hotel, and will return.
