I always stay at Country Hearth in Abilene. Ish runs a great place. Clean, comfortable and always improving. Awesome breakfast. I'd like it to run a little later on the weekends, but always good.

I always stay here for my trips to Abilene. Ish runs the place and it is the best value for the money in all of Abilene. Clean, comfortable beds and great breakfast.

Everyone at the front desk was very friendly when I checked in late in the evening. The room was very comfortable with plenty of towels. In the morning when having to check out the staff encouraged me and nearly pushed me to try the food in the lounge. The breakfast options were better than some4-5 star hotels that I've stayed in and a part of the fee not additional. Only problem I encountered was not being able to connect to wifi but it didn't ruin my experience at all

It was very good In and out no hassle will do it agan

This location was perfect. The hotel is being remodeled but we did not mind it just lets us know that the next time we are there it will be even better! The free breakfast was the best hands down ever in my stay in a hotel.

My family and I were on a long drive and hit Abilene at 7:30pm, needing a place to stay just that night. We picked Country Hearth, honestly, because it was cheap and convenient. The hotel itself is nothing to write home about, but it was clean and comfortable, Ish, the general manager was pleasant and enthusiastic. Our Thai dinner right there on the premises was delicious and really reasonably priced. And the complimentary breakfast was the best I've had anywhere, with eggs cooked to order. If I'm ever in Abilene again, this is definitely where I'll stay!

I read several of the previous reviews on here before booking. This was a college visit and I needed to keep the cost down, but provide a safe, comfortable place for my daughter and I to stay. It was safe. It was comfortable and affordable, but it was very run down. It's located in a prime location on the main 83 loop close to the Mall, Restaurants and not far from the universities It's family run and they are very nice. The breakfast they provide is above average. Wonderful coffee, but as nice as the service was, it was a run down hotel/motel that needs to be "spruced" up. You're safe and they take care of you, but walking into your room and the dining hall is like walking back in time to the 70's. They need a remodel, but if you are looking for a safe, cheap place, yes, this would be an option.

Staff was courteous & fast.....rooms were clean & comfortable

We will be back next time we're in Abilene, for sure! Great hot breakfast, friendly staff, excellent pool for guests only with a nice variety of chairs to relax in, grills for personal use on a lovely patio with an outdoor eating area, AND a playground for the kids with covered swings for the adults to relax on while watching them play. The pool is fenced, and the covered patio and playground are on opposite ends of the pool, with everything being inside a courtyard, hotel guests having the only access. Great for family with little ones!

It was a very great spot lots of stores next to us.

This place was very dirty. Shower kept changing temperature from very cold to scalding hot. Free breakfast is not really free when you have to pay an additional 10 dollars per day per night.

We love staying at this place. It is an older hotel that is being taken care of and updated. It is not a new place, but it is clean, in a good location, and the manager (Ish) is there to make things better all the time. Awesome breakfast with made to order omelets. They have several cereals, sausage, bacon, biscuits, ham, selections of fruit, juice, coffee, milk, etc. Very comfortable beds, big tvs in rooms, and nice clean swimming pool outside.

Hotel sits on the highway, resturants and shopping are a very short walk away. Very clean, comfortable and friendly. Pool has BBQ grills which can make for a nice group or family experience.

Run down. Needs repair work. Smells. Shower either too hot or too cold. It would not properly adjust to warm. Room feels not cleaned properly. Would never stay there again and will not recommend.

Room was nice, clean, and comfy. Staff was helpful upon check-in. Location was good, lots of restaurants close, and shopping. Also located close to main roads. Would definatly recommend to friends! Great value for the price.

This hotel is conveniently located – very close to the Abilene mall and numerous restaurants. The full breakfast in the morning is a bonus.

The hotel is dated and really does need some TLC with some paint and new carpet, but the room was clean and comfortable and has microwave, huge flat screen and pod type coffee maker. The check-in was easy and the desk clerk was exceptional nice. She was friendly and smiled. The breakfast exceeded expectations with a great selection of country breakfast foods as well as fresh fruits and juices. Although the hotel is not modern and fancy, the service and value more than make up the difference.

It was a convenient location for a business meeting.

This is an old place that needs updating. A couple of nice surprises, a Kuerig coffee maker and a huge breakfast buffet including eggs made fresh.

Convient to restarants and shopping. Varied selections of breakfast foods included. No newspapers. Cable Tv selection was average and not in HD. Room was clean if somewhat dated. Bed was comfortable. Vending machines for drinks only. Non smoking rooms on first floor, smoking rooms on upper floor. Lots of parking. In room single serving coffee an excellent choice. Certainly met our need for a place to shower and sleep. Visited family so time in motel was limited. Not the best but certainly not the worst we ever stayed in. Seemed to have many long term tenants both adults and children. We would go back if visiting in the community again.
