I have stayed in this hotel 4 years ago. There is absolutely no change poor breakfast, small room for 2 people, no much lighting, curtains dint cover the whole window and difficult to sleep early in the morning and very basic. Buffet menu of the breakfast was bad running less options for the vegetarians.. However, the reception lady was good and kind enough..Also the room was clean...
The room was comfortable but doesn’t include anything. You have to pay for a drink even hot water (15 dkk) and breakfast (99 dkk). The staff were friendly and polite. A plus side is that there is an underground car park which is locked of an evening
This hotel has a very Nice bed , a small , but modern and nice bathroom it is super clean. The staff is very kind and polite. There is a super view from 7th. Floor Internet works . Definitely come back.
A great hotel, especially given the room price. Room was comfortable (especially the bed) and a good size. All the basic facilities and there is parking available on site (recommend you park underground). Staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a long walk to the city centre though there are frequent buses just outside the hotel (Bus 1A or 4A, cost 20K ticket purchased via machine on the bus -10 minute journey).
Staff are really on point and welcoming. The hotel style is Scandinavia minimalist with no frills but done really well. Very clean and good value! Felt really safe also. Right next to shopping centre, where you can buy everything! We even had a wonderful Thai massage. Plenty of food places right next to the hotel and fantastic parking. Good bus connection into town also, about 15min to get into the centre of town.
I stayed in that hotel when being on a business trip last year. It is located close to a very big crossroad, so when you open a window it is very noisy, however when the windows stay closed it is very very quiet and comfortable. The style of the rooms I would say is industrial but I liked it. It was very clean inside. The breakfast was standard, but it is more than enough when you go on a business trip. I would recommend it - down the stairs there is a small shop mall with supermarket and in front of the hotel there is also a Mc'Donalds and small salad bar.
I am a business traveller. I will overall rate this hotel as a little below average in comparison with other danish medium priced hotels in major cities. Reception is helpfull but one person managing both reception and other duties (opening doors, solving problems around the premisses and preparing breakfast menu) really is not very good. Rooms are okay talking of size, but the bathroom for normal grown adults is really absolutely minimum size. Breakfast buffet is okay speaking of the items offered, but having to boil your own eggs really is not okay. The coffee from the instant machines tastes just awful! Will I come here again? Probably yes, as the hotel is situated optimal for my purpose meaning close to the business when in this area, and primarily using the hotel for sleeping overnight it is acceptable.
Nice place, good breakfast and friendly service. Speaking English very well and a smooth check-in. Rooms are a bit small, but very comfortable. Just about a 10 minute drive away from great restaurants and bars.
First the good: - quite inexpensive (on the other hand my corporate rate at a major business hotel in central Aarhus is cheaper - but that was booked out) - ok breakfast (self service up to having to prepare your soft boiled eggs yourself) - free WiFi (although that's nearly a no-brainer nowadays) - clean and modern bathroom - friendly staff What I didn't like (and why I will avoid it unless every other hotel in Aarhus is booked out): - windows not at all sound proof (if you are unlucky and have a window facing the busy street you even hear the audio signals of the pedestrian traffic light during the entire night) - walls not at all sound proof (my neighbor apparently had an emotional night) - very small bed (I didn't measure but felt like 90x180) - room decorated like a prison cell (empty concrete walls). - in the middle of nowhere so if you want to go for a nice city stroll at the end of a business day, it's a long way to the centre Summary (at least for me): I deserve better and will happily spend a few additional euro for something less spartan.
The room is clean. Service at the reception is great. Staff is very kind and ready to quickly solve any issue. Free parking makes the hotel very convenient. Breakfast buffet is very good. Room amenities are limited thou as well the mattress is way too soft. To go to the center take the buses 1A and 4A. 15 min journey max. DKK 20 per person.
