The room is clean. Service at the reception is great. Staff is very kind and ready to quickly solve any issue. Free parking makes the hotel very convenient. Breakfast buffet is very good. Room amenities are limited thou as well the mattress is way too soft. To go to the center take the buses 1A and 4A. 15 min journey max. DKK 20 per person.
I was on a business trip and looking for an inexpensive hotel just outside the city centre. The best way to explain Zleep is "functional but funky". It is at the lower end of the bedroom scale (I though that I had come into a bedroom that wasn't quite finished!) - exposed concrete walls and floors matching that colour. however, it was very clean and tidy with a basic bathroom. Breakfast is served in a basement room but it was continental but quite sufficient. The beds were super.
A last-minute reservation and i showed up unprepared to what to expect from this Hotel. I was greeted by a nice young lady called Line at the reception, that was out most helpful with my parking and special request for breakfast...etc. i parked the car (secure underground parking) and went up to my room only to experience a cool New Yorker inspired room, well disposed, a good view, all tidy and clean...pure joy. biggest test of the day was of course the breakfast...the breakfast was not only set up nicely in a very cozy room but catered to all my needs from fresh baked bread, serial, fresh brewed coffee and eggs [yes need my eggs in the morning]. my biggest recommendation to this cool hotel n the heart of Aarhus.
The room was very nice and clean. The hotel is located on the corner of two very busy roads, so it is quite noisy if you open the window. The breakfast buffet is a bit expensive taking the selection into account.
I stayed at Zleep Hotel Aarhus in May and parked in their underground parking spaces as instructed at reception. I have now had to pay a 870 DK fine for 'illegal' parking and no amount of explaining to the Ciy Parkeringsservice helped to clear up the situation. Not great at all.
The staff were friendly and welcoming and helpful / The room was clean bright , spacious and well laid out for a family of three . The breakfast was excellent with a variety of food for all tastes . The location was not as central as we had expected .It is at quite a distance from the tourist sites . The is no restaurant in the hotel which meant we had to immediately go back in th town centre to get a variety and the local ethnic restauranuts ddi not meet our dietary need
We stayed for 2 nights in Aarhus on our travels through Denmark and Norway. Room was good size, with a minimalistic approach, but with table, sitting chair and some hanging space was ideal for a short stay without any unnecessary items taking up space. Parking available on-site (although access after hours involves a swipe pass attached to a piece of metal pipe!). The bathroom was on the smaller side (but modern and clean). There was a wi-fi network outage for the duration of our stay. This was less than ideal as we had plans for onward travels to make. The staff during the day didn't seem to have much of an idea on when it could be fixed. Luckily the afternoon/evening staff were helpful in allowing us to hotspot and access wi-fi, but only by sitting in reception. Breakfast offering was simple (not as good as other hotels we stayed at in the region), but sufficient to start the day. Overall, the afternoon/evening staff were great - helpful and friendly (sadly our experience with morning and day staff was less favourable and they didn't seem to be proactive or helpful). Location ideally requires use of a car. Dining options nearby are limited - make sure if arriving after hours or weekend that you eat in advance. Based on the simple room set-up, we would consider staying again in the future, only if we were travelling by car. But they need to ensure that the wi-fi is solid and any outage shouldn't last more than a day, as it just isn't acceptable in this day and age at a hotel. Overall a good short stay.
It is over a shopping centre with free underground car parking included. Rooms are hard concrete floors and walls which is a bit trendy I guess. Great shower but no power points in the bathroom. Didn't take the breakfast as cheaper to get it from the supermarket or McDonalds across the road if wanted.
Hotel is a mid-renge hotel outside of Aarhus. Pro's: Large, clean rooms Serviceminded staff Good parking and accessibility Con's: Stuffy, dark breakfastroom in the cellar Situated e few kilometers outside central Aarhus Stayed for one night in a family room with four beds. Nice big room suitable for a family of two adults, two children. I would not stay here if I am arriving by public tranport, since it is too far from central Aarhus, but when in your own car it is nice to have easy access from main traffic routes and free parking. The breakfast buffet was really not that good, but most of all the setting in a small dark stuffed cellar was really not pleasant. It was cetanly not worth the 99,- DKK. If I am to stay here again I will rather go to the nearby local shopping centre, which have a cafe that serves food all day.
This hotel is not in the city center, but parking is free. What I liked about it was - the reception staff was so friendly - the design of the hotel was fresh and modern - my room was very clean and I liked the decor with the exposed concrete walls - great bed - breakfast was extra, but worth it I would have like - a kettle in the room - my room was very warm All in all - the price considered, I think this is a solid 5 star hotel.
