A bird sanctuary is adjacent to the Chenay Bay Beach Resort and Green Cay, a nature-preserve island protects the bay in front of the resort, giving visitors calm water for snorkeling, scuba diving and other water sports during most seasons. Guests are free to use snorkel gear, floating mats, pedal boats, small sailboats and kayaks. Chenay Bay is known for its fishing (fees apply for gear rental) especially tarpon and rock fish.
