Ecuador is hot and humid throughout the year. Vacationers in Ecuador seeking swimming should visit in February when Pacific waters off the coast are exceptionally warm, from 23°C to 24°C. Ecuador travel increases between the months of December and January, as well as June and August, making hotel and cruise prices increase during this time. Ecuador weather cools down significantly, to around 18°C, between the months of May to July, an ideal time for hiking and biking.
