Atherton Hallorans Leisure Park is a quiet peaceful relaxing park set on 6.5 acres of landscape. It is also within driving distance from crater lakes, waterfalls, rain-forest and bird watching sites. Guests can swim in the volcanic Crater Lake Eacham or at Ellinjaa Falls, Malanda Falls and Little Millstream Falls. Few places of interest in the surrounding include Hallorans Hill Lookout, Chinese Temple, Platypus Park, Wind Farm on Windy Hill Volcano and Hastie Swamp. Atherton Hallorans Leisure Park has saltwater in-ground swimming pool, internet access and photocopying service for the convenience of visitors. Outdoor enthusiasts can also plan a trip to explore the attractions in the city or enjoy whitewater rafting, bush-walking, swimming and shopping in the area around. Check-in is strictly between the hours of 1400hrs (2pm) and 2000hrs (8pm). There is no check in after closing without prior arrangements being made. No Check ins available on Christmas Day. All units/villas have side car parking.

Pademelon Wallabies abound and Coppery Brushtail Possums will visit your balcony every night, whilst Northern Bandicoots and other marsupials forage on the evening forest floor. Wake to a serenade of birdsong every morning as an ever-changing parade of rainforest birds greet you on your Treehouse balcony, or wander along our many walking tracks and immerse yourself in the grandeur of pristine, old growth, high country rainforest. We are privileged to be the custodians of this very precious, special place. The magnificent Cairns Highlands region also boasts stunning waterfalls and crystal clear lakes, ancient national parks, majestic trees, walking trails and local crafts. Chambers Wildlife Rainforest Lodges is hidden in 1200 acres of Lake Eacham's lush, tropical highland rainforest in the beautiful Waterfalls and Crater Lakes district of the Atherton Tablelands. As pioneers in Eco tourism lodges specifically cater for birdwatchers, wildlife enthusiasts, naturalists, photographers, film crews and all those who want to have a true rainforest experience. Accommodation includes 10 fully self-contained 52sqm one bedroom lodges and a 108sqm five bedroom lodge. Resort Facilities Include: Under-cover swimming pool, 100sqm guest lounge with BBQ, pool table, wildlife library. Free internet access, email and fax are available at reception. The resort includes a 1.3km rainforest walking path to Platypus ponds, Brush Turkey mounds, and Tooth billed Bower-bird stages. Every night, for guests at Chambers Wildlife Rainforest Lodges, there is a complimentary Rainforest Kangaroo Viewing and Wildlife Commentary. A Wildlife Viewing Platform is illuminated until 11pm for guests to view Sugar Gliders, Uromys, Bandicoots, Melomys, Antechinus and some times Striped Possums. Chanel 9 on your lodge TV shows a live broadcast of wildlife activity at the viewing platform. There are excellent restaurants, hotels, takeaways and supermarkets within a 10 minute drive of the Chambers.
