Get away

The hotel is definitely the best in town. Location is great! The rooms are a bit runned down. The bathrooms are so small and stuffy. The rugs should be replaced, a bit musky.

Business trip

The Peabody has amazing service packed into an old-fashioned, beautifully appointed hotel situated within walking distance of many downtown restaurants and interesting places. The breakfasts were outstanding. I enjoyed my brief stay.

Expensive trip!!!

Very very, expensive, wonderful lobby&ducks were fab. However, rooms too small, noise from other rooms awful. TV and wi fi very poor. Some free toiletries but nothing else. Not a comfortable relaxing stay. Great to visit from another hotel!

Good experience

My sister-in-law and I took our 2 sons on a trip to Memphis to see a play at the Orpheum Theatre, and we stayed at the Peabody Hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was perfect as we were able to walk to the theatre and to Beale street for some excitement. The price of the hotel was a little high for us, but we wanted to splurge a little on this trip. The beds were smaller than expected but comfortable. We ordered room service at midnight and didn't receive it until almost 1:30 a.m. The staff was all professional and courteous but not very warm and inviting. The hotel is beautiful and has a variety of restaurants and bars, which we didn't have time to enjoy, but would love to in the future.

The Only Hotel To Stay At When Staying In Memphis

The hotel has everything you need and more. It is centrally located to get to all the downtown attractions and if you are heading to Graceland, you can easily walk to the shuttle that takes you there. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I was there for my birthday and was beyond thrilled with my experience as a guest. It was a great atmosphere and it was nice to see so many happy faces inside the hotel. You could tell that all the guests were having a great time. I personally enjoyed watching the marching of the ducks and seeing the excitement of the crowds. The beautiful sounds of live piano playing filled the downstairs bar and lounge most nights and there just always appeared to be a relaxed fun environment on the main floor. There is also incredible views from the roof deck. I stayed later in the season (October) so there were not as many events planned for the deck while I was there. Anyone staying in Memphis should stay at the Peabody!
