Christmas in the City!

I enjoyed my stay at The Park Lane. The location is wonderful! The room was smaller but it was just me so it was okay. I didn't have anything in my room about room service ( no menu and no information on Harry's at all). I had to look online to read about Harry's. There were books in the room about places to see, things to do but they could have been better. More simple, especially for someone that was in NYC for the first time and by herself! The location was wonderful, so beautiful being by the park and close to everything.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Definitely go to Rockeller Center. Go inside, shop and dine and then go to the top of the Rock! It was awesome and a better way to see the city, park and views than the Empire State Building since u can then go to Times Square, the Broadway area for a show and dinner or walk 5th Ave and SHOP!

Tired Hotel

Great location. Very tired hotel. Needs lots of sprucing up. I guess you pay with shabby quality when the rates are good.

Fabulous Weekend!

The hotel is fabulous and in a great location. The only issue was lack of communication. We were not told about the cocktail reception when we checked in. Therefore, they credited the $38 fee when we checked out. Parking, I called prior to arriving and was told it was $65 for the night and we could leave the car as long as we wanted. When we picked up the car, they charged us double because, we went over 24 hours. The parking attendant was extremely rude. This was the only negative experience with the hotel. I would stay there again but, I would look at a different parking option.

Good Business Hotel

Location at Central Park South was perfect. Even with many U.N dignitaries at hotel for major conference the staff was excellent....housekeeping, bell service, front desk, dining/bar.
