Landmark Hilton Style in Seattle’s Financial District

Located in the epicenter of Seattle's financial district, the hotel offers top shelf service in Doubletree fashion. Recently awarded AAA's 4-Diamond Award, this exquisitely restored hotel lends old world charm to more modern surroundings of the downtown area. Major attractions such as Pike Place Market and Puget Sound are close by to make sightseeing a simple feat. Perhaps the most intriguing feature of the hotel is the walrus heads that overlook the street. Once inside, an Alaskan marble foyer awaits the arrival of new guests. Culinary delights are par for the course at JUNO restaurant where seasonal menu items are prepared on order. Northwestern fare is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual setting. Cocktails or midnight snacks are available in the Polar Bar. No need to worry if the hour grows late as there is always Starbucks coffee for the morning hours at the Doubletree Arctic Club Hotel Seattle-Downtown. Guests that need to burn off some energy or get in a good workout can use the on-site fitness center stocked with Precor® exercise equipment. Amazing staff in historic hotel!

My sons and I spent a wonderful week in Seattle at the Arctic Club Seattle. First, the staff was amazing, from the front desk to the bartenders and wait staff at the Polar Bar and especially Angelo the concierge. He was so helpful making sure we got to see and do all the wonderful things that Seattle has to offer. The hotel is beautiful and the room was spacious and spotless. We had dinner at the bar and also ordered room service and the food was exceptional. I would highly recommend the fried halibut, delicious! We had a wonderful time in Seattle and the hotel is very centrally located and we were able to walk to many top tourists attractions. We visited the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, the aquarium, EMP Museum, the Great Wheel, a ball game at Safeco Field, a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island, the Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum and an amazing seaplane ride. The Arctic Club was our home away from home and we would stay here again when visiting Seattle.

A lovely hotel with an unfortunate location

My husband and I are Seattleites and stayed in this hotel for a romantic getaway. The room itself was nicely appointed-- we LOVED doing our own French press coffee in the morning, which was delicious. The bathroom had really high-quality fixtures of the type you don't normally see in hotels. In terms of general amenities, it had a nice bar and lounge on the main floor. I didn't see the workout room and there's no pool or spa. The staff was very warm and accomodating. The only thing I'll say is if you're nervous about big cities and questionable neighborhoods, this is probably not the hotel for you. It's on the edge of Pioneer Square and there's a lot of homeless people around. It's right on a major thoroughfare and even from the 7th floor the sirens in the middle of the night are loud. You could park on the street or in a garage, but I wouldn't recommend it, so you have to shell out the $41/night for the valet. Overall it's not bad, but if you're uneasy about safety I would look for a hotel in South Lake Union, Belltown, or closer to the downtown core. The breakfast at Juno was mediocre and expensive, I'd look elsewhere for food.

December stay

This was a first class hotel full of ambience, class and culture. Perfectly positioned with easy access to the old town pioneer square area and the Pike Market (and shopping) area of town. It is right next door (pioneer square stop) to the tram system/light railway that will take you straight to the airport. Great staff, great amenities. Really felt as if it was my own private club. Highly recommend.

Take the light railway/tram system from the airport right into centre of Seattle. Quick (every 10 mins), cheap and highly efficient.

High Price, but Great Comfort

Best Cookies - EVER! Friendly and helpful check-in personnel, provided prompt, pleasant service. Offered suggestions for dining options and entertainment in the area. Room was very nice - clean, comfortable and well appointed. Bed was AWESOME - I wanted to stay another night. A bit of road noise early in the morning, but this hotel is SO downtown that that's expected. Checkout was easy and staff very friendly once again. Would definitely stay here again, and have already recommended to friends.

Very fine older hotel

The Artic Club Seattle is a older facility that has been upgraded to meet modern expectations. It is a bit away from major attractions, but it does house one of the best restaurants in Seattle. And, the staff is pleased to meet your every need.

Nice place to spend a weekend

Nice rooms, a little smaller than I expected, but not too surprising considering the age of the building. Super clean, great amenities, great location. Highly recommend visiting VIktor, the bartender in the lounge. An absolute artist.
