Beautiful complex with lots of facilities, room was comfy and large with view of the pool. Good restraunts nearby but had to use the car to get to them and to get into town centre, good museum.

Bathroom: WAY TOO SMALL. Good access to Wi-fi. Motel staff friendly and courteous. Mini-fridge's freezer was SO over encrusted with ice that you had no room to put anything in there and it froze everything on the top shelf of the fridge. Beds were firm and had decent TV to surf and watch. Best experience of all though was Penny's Diner. Good food at fair prices. Even though it's not on the menu, you can order half portions. The short order cook [...] is a MUST SEE!!! He makes your time there enjoyable!!!

Management said they had just taken over the property 7 days before we arrived and that new carpet and new beds would be there in two weeks. One of the rooms they were going to put us in had badly stained carpet and though billed as a non-smoking room, had a lingering smoke oder. Glad they understand that the property needs a major upgrade inside and out.
A minimalist breakfast was served...bread & cereal only! Juice machine was out of order so milk and coffee were the only options. No napkins!
When I told them they could have put a gallon of orange juice in the same ice tub with the gallon of milk, duh, they hadn't thought about that.
They told me I would not recognize the place the next time we came. How's that for optimism?
I wish them well, but it's going to take more than two weeks to get this property worthy of a return visit.

The bed was sooooo comfortable and I enjoyed the large flat screen TV. However, the carpet needed some help and the room could have used a deep cleaning. There were lots of small plastic toys and a year's worth of dust under the beds.

Clean, quiet despite being near airport. Checked in late, no problem, but many restaurants were closed. Great water pressure and hot water in shower...had to call for second soap bar, but delivered quickly. Very friendly staff. WiFi connected quickly. Did not do the continental breakfast, preferring to eat at a restaurant downtown.

Clean hotel, there were really no chairs to relax in so you had to sit on the bed. Staff was great and rooms were clean. Also, they were doing maintenance on the elevator and somehow we ended up having to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. When we asked about it the hotel staff was a little snarly. Still I would stay here again.

If you are a fan of historic hotels, the PLAINS is great. Renovated in 2002. Lobby still has high ceilings, marble, stained glass, etc. New bath done in 1900 decor. Bed comfortable. Across the street is the historic beautiful train depot. Shopping and restaurants close by. Only problem is parking. Weekends there is not a charge for on street parking, but not sure where you park during the week.

Every room has been uniquely decorated to recreate the elegance of the Victorian West, from the ornate staircases to the authentic period wallpaper to the antique furniture and the 19th century artwork. My niece was visiting from North Carolina and had never been out west before..I used to live in Cheyenne, and was familiar with the hotel, but had not actually been inside it before. I decided to give her a treat for her last night in Wyoming by staying at the Nagle Mansion, and it was worth every single cent. The minute we walked through the front door, a peace and calm descended on us. Jim, the owner, is an incredibly kind and knowledgeable man, and he gave us a tour of the property. The rooms are exquisite. The music room, parlor, library, pantry, tower, staircase, snuggery,workout room, garden and garden hot tub are open any time for you to explore, and explore we did, after dinner. Our room, was stunning, quiet and very comfortable, with a hand sewn quilt on the bed, and feather pillows.The room was filled with antiques that added to the charm. Everything you could possibly need for the bath is available, and the bathroom itself is beautiful.
Breakfast the next morning in the beautiful dining room consisted of blueberries and cream, quiche, bacon, homemade bread, and fresh squeezed orange juice. I cannot express enough how wonderful this place is. I highly recommend booking a room in this beautiful and historic place. I will be back again.

We stayed at the Nagle Warren Mansion, which is a bed and breadfast. This stay was to celebrate our wedding anniversary and every detail was excellent to make it very memorable! Reading in the tower, veiwing all of the great antique furnishings and artwork, reading and embroidering in the sitting room while enjoying a cup of tea and cookies, a relaxing dip in the hot tub, and breakfast was outstanding. GREAT place to stay!! We'll be back.

Unter den Super acht ist dies eher ein schwaches. Seine Lage ist weit weg von Cheyenne. Super schön ist wenn man die Happy Jack Road Richtung Laramie fährt.

The good, the bad, and the really ugly

While the motel was very clean and neat, and the location was very convienient, there was a couple issues. The A/C unit in our room did not work. Or, if it DID work it didn't work when we wanted it to work. The bed I slept on had a swell in the middle. The mattress needs replaced. The motel is directly across the street from train tracks. The second night of our stay it had cooled down enough that we opened the window for the night. That was fine until the trains ran. Again, the motel and rooms were very clean and well kept. The staff I encountered friendly and helpful. I'd stay there again but with a working A/C unit and better bed.

The Holiday Inn Express in Cheyenne was clean, comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. the rooms were nicely decorated. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the one night we were there. We took a wrong turn getting to the Inn, but were able to double back and find it fairly easily. We felt the cost for one night's stay was expensive.

we were in Cheyenne briefly for a night but the hotel was very clean and the kids enjoyed the pool. My husband and I really enjoyed the hot tub! The breakfast buffet was really good as well! Would definitely stay again.

We reserved 2 rooms, 104 & 106. Rooms were nice and clean. However, no maintenance fellow was available, & 106 didn't have heater working. So we had 2 use most blankets in room 2 our account? 2 keep our 2 & 4u yr olds warm through out de nite. Otherwise it would have been great!!!

Good experience! The room was clean and comfortable. Our room had 2 full size beds didn't realize how small that is and would have prefered a larger bed for two adults to sleep in. Ate breakfast at the restaurant and the food was great.

Hotel is fairly close to downtown and food options altough you will need a car. The free breakfast was very lacking in variety as well as quality. The only thing that saved this hotel was the friendliness of it's staff. Everyone was very helpful and friendly and was the only highlight of this hotel.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff at check in and out were professional and speedy. Breakfast offered many choices and the hotel employee aided in preparation of waffles and checked to see if everyone had what they needed.
There was a convention in town and I noted that the hotel aided travelers in finding accomodations once they were full.

We were travelling across the country and stayed for one night. We found everything to be very convenient The room was great, everything we needed and clean and cormfortable.

I hadn't stayed at this hotel in many years. It has been updated within the past few years, though the carpet in my room was showing a bit of wear and age. The front desk staff was very polite and helpful both at check-in and at departure. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. The room was also spacious. They didn't try to cram too much in. I was impressed with the number of table and floor lights available, which, by the way, indicates thought in the number of outlets, things which are difficult to find in an older hotel. The breakfast was nothing to put on a post card, but I alway appreciate when there is some kind of protein, like hardboiled eggs. The toaster worked very well, again, something not always found in hotels. This hotel is probably the best bet when it comes to a mid-priced hotel for a one-night stay. The fitness room, which I used, is spacious enough. Some kind of spray cleaner would have been helpful. A bit more equipment would be nice, but the treadmill and the exercise machine got the job done.

We only spent one night in Cheyenne, but we were very pleased with our hotel choice. The staff we had contact with, from the front desk, to maid, to checkout everyone was very friendly. The hotel is relatively new so everything is modern and in good shape. Our bed was very comfortable, the bathroom roomy, and everything was very clean. It's nice to have a microwave & fridge in the room, too. We would stay there again!

I went to visit my son for his birthday and chose this hotel because of the rate and the fact it was a new property. I was not let down in the selection. All of the staff was courteous and attentive.
The only issue you may have, is that it is located in the extreme east side of town. So, you may have to drive a little more (10 minutes) to get to it.
Otherwise, I do recommend it as a clean and fresh place to stay in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

The Rodeway Inn is located in Cheyenne-the Capital of Wyoming. It is adjacent to Interstate 25 with easy access to the highway. Warren AFB is located at the next exit, and just across the street from the hotel is Frontier Park, home to the Daddy of them all- Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo. Frontier Park also has other fun attractions open year round featuring museums and more. The Capitol Building and Historic District are within minutes of the hotel.
