overall the room was what i was expecting except that when they say "handicaped room" they should have mentioned the bathroom also. i reserved a room with two queen beds, microwave and fridge. when we arrived they gave us the room and we were very pleased with the size. but when it came to the bathroom it was very hard to take a shower because they did not have the showerhead made for regular guests just the handheld. so it took too long to take a shower having to basically rinse with water, wash hair then hold the showerhead to rinse hair and so on.... not very happy with that at all

Good staff, clean , But NOISY-no sleep!!

The Good parts: Friendly staff, Very nice FREE continental breakfast-Waffle irons, apples and oranges, milk, coffee, cereal, pastries. Room was clean, good beds, hot shower, heater works really well- turn it off before going to sleep and room stays warm. Lots of dining optoins within walking distance. Not So Good: Fridge and microwave were not in room and not available to be added. Apparently these must be requested when making a reservation. Also indoor pool is cold. The BAD part:VERY NOISY-there is no sound barrier-could hear traffic from Main roads and people in rooms above and behind us- sounded like a construction zone. While my family was out and I was taking a shower, It sounded like a bunch of strangers were in my room talking LOUDY. Do not expect to get any sleep unless you can sleep with ear plugs. 20 miles from Winterplace Ski Resort.

Clean Hampton Inn in a very busy area,Book it,before hand, was sold out ,glad we had reservations. Lots of restaurants nearby to walk to.And not off the beaten path.Breakfast was ok,not as much as other Hamptons, however all in all happy with the nights stay...

The Hotel was very easy located and well lighted. This was our first trip with our 3 month old grandson. The rooms air-conditioner was very quite and cool. Room was larger than expected and very clean. Hotel location provided easy and close access to everything we needed. Again hotel was very nice.

Two night stay over Labor Day weekend to attend a funeral in the area. Very comfortable and hospitable place. Though full, the hotel was quiet and well managed. Would recommend to others and of course would stay there again.

Not what I expected

Our non-smoking room smelled like smoke. The shower curtain didn't fit properly in the shower. The refrigerator rattled all night. The continental breakfast was not what I anticipated. The coffee wasn't fresh (it was lukewarm in the thermos at 6:45 AM). The lobby area was poorly lit.

The downside of being a pet-friendly

Arrived late at night and had reservations for two rooms. We were dead tired. When one of the two adjoining rooms smelled strongly of cat pee, we considered just piling into the one good room. But I went to the front desk, and the woman got me a new room right away, although it was a quite a ways from our other room.
Aside from that, the rooms were great. Breakfast was above average with a waffle maker, cereal, and hard boiled eggs which I liked because I'm on a low carb diet. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

We were there for a funeral so we didn't really go sightseeing.
The beds were very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The only thing that was a really big problem for me was how low the toilets were because I had a recent back operation and had difficulty bending down that low. It would have been very helpful to have a handicapped one that was in a room with 2 beds.
Other than that it was a very nice place to stay and a great location.

The staff was cordial and allowed us in our room early. It was quiet and clean. Location was great for us. The breakfast area was inviting and clean, and having the coffee available at all times was a bonus. The hotel was at full capacity.
