Among the Best of Hotels

We stopped here for a weekend while driving from Michigan to Florida. The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. The staff was friendly and helpful. The valet parking was free. The Jazz Sunday brunch was tasty and reasonably priced. This place is a historic gem. A five star experience at a two star price. Highly recommended!

The only reason Amenties got a lower rating is because when my husband, friends and I were swimming we not only found a screw at the bottom of the pool, the hot tub was falling apart. The staff was so kind to take $50 off our already discounted price so I found that to be very kind. Everything was very nice, especially for the value. The location in Parkersburg is perfect.

I was happy with this hotel. The room was clean and up to date. It could have used a bead of caulk or two, but overall acceptable. The tv reception was fine, contrary to other reviewers experiences. I would stay here again.
