Since this was just a place to sleep for a night on our way to the South Carolina coast, it was okay for what we paid for our rooms. However, it was difficult to sleep in our NON-smoking room with the horrible smell of stale tobacco smoke that permeated both of the rooms that we reserved. Also the rooms lacked an attention to detail, such as burned out bulbs in the ceiling fixtures and a tub that took 45 minutes to drain after my husband's shower.

Really enjoyed the stay. Just a note for the smoker; all smoking rooms are on the second floor. I had knee surgery and not able to climb the stairs but my mother is a smoker. They were able to give us a room that was non-smoking due to my knee. Mom was able to get close enough to an outside door to be able to go out to smoke. Other places would have not have done this.

Perfect for a weekend Ski get away

Went to ski at Winter Place with my 2 children.
Location was perfect, room was clean, couch, fridge, table, sink on one side of the room, Bed and desk on the other. There was a great reading nook under the window that my daughter loved. There was some great strip malls about 8 minutes away along with some great places to eat: Chilis, Logan's etc...
Quick and easy breakfast served the next day with a Huddle House in the parking lot if you ant a hot breakfast.
This is a NON SMOKING HOTEL!!!

It was our families 2nd annual Bridge Day event, and we've stayed @ this particular hotel both years. Honestly, we only actually sleep & bathe while there, so we don't really use the amenities, but the rooms are always clean & comfortable, and location is excellent if your plans include anything in the Beckley/Fayetteville area. Close to plenty of dining, shopping and state parks.

Good place to stop passing through. Nice continental breakfast. Make sure to stop at the local visitor center, I think it's called Tamarack, wonderful, huge arts and craft facility.

Staff was very pleasant and courteous. Convenient for overnight stay.Near the interstate, but not close enough to be noisy. Many local restaurants within walking distance.Stay was worth every penny. Beds were very comfortable.

nice location & excellent value for the price. Plenty of room, check in was a snap, breakfast was average. Hotel was well kept. Check in staff lacked personality, but the most frustrating aspect was the desk clerk & 2 housekeeping staff members gathered in front smoking as I was trying to load the car. I cannot understand why I am needing to work around staff & a cloud of smoke (I did secure a non-smoking room by the way)just to enter the hotel. It dampened what was otherwise a very pleasurable experience.

Great stay...the pool, as stated by others was not the cleanest. This is due to the fact they have a indoor/outdoor pool, and over the coarse of a day leaves and other debrit are coming in from outside. The pool and hot tubs were quite warm and that bwas a plus. As for the room and beds, we loved them. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was clean and peaceful. Unfortuately the pool is small and only 4 feet deep- a few kids and it is full with no where to swim. The restaurant in the hotel has great dessert and is open until 10:00 at night. The room was comfortable but our cable was a little fuzzy.

Arrived around 7pm. The one person at the desk was really busy and it took about 10 minutes to check in. The rooms were really clean and everything worked. Internet was free and worked great.
The bathroom especially gleamed like brand new. There was a pool but what we didn't have time to take advantage of it.
There is a restaurant in the hotel called Kem's which had no reviews on google, so we didn't try it.

I had a pleasant visit. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was more than I expected. Clean room, but it didn't have some of the ammenities I've had in less expensive hotels. I'd go back, but with the knowledge that I would need to bring a cooler and my own cups (the cups in the room were cracked.)

This was a quick trip from NE Ohio. I met at Beckley to pick up a granddaughter from North Carolina and take her back to Ohio. I had my 8yr old grandson with me.
The shower handle fell off and we had to get the repairman. The continental breakfast was very good.
The lady at the front desk was very nice.

Just stayed overnight. Arrived after 9PM. All the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Quiet and comfortable room. Breakfast buffet was very good. Would definitely stay here again.
