The staff was very welcoming and the hotel was clean and up to date! The holel is in a great location with access to a groccery store and a local bar across the street. I came here on a business trip and it was a good experience.

Hotel staff was extremely friendly and responsive. Room was as reserved, clean, and quiet. The sheets smelled wonderful! Wish there would have been a restaurant/bar, but otherwise simply nice. Also - be advised that the fitness center doesn't open until 7am.

We just needed a clean cool place to sleep and the Park Motel did the job just fine. No frills but we did not need or want them.

"What I expected for the price"

Just staying the night so that I did not have to make a 2 hour commute for a 2-day workweek in Marshfield. I wanted someplace cheap, so I expected it to be sub-par. Everything worked fine, the rooms just felt like they hadn't been changed in a few decades. The TV was decent and large though, but the internet was not very reliable. All in all it was ok for one night and for the price but I wouldn't want to stay here long-term.

Not what it was cracked up to be...

I was a little frustrated with my experience at the Comfort Inn. First, I purchased a room with 2 queen sized beds but once I got there it was two full size beds. On the amenities page it touted that there was refrigerators and microwaves....which meant there was one community refrigerator and microwave on the main floor. I felt really mislead and had I known these things I would have chosen a different hotel. Also there were holes and tears in the bedding and the shower was plugged. We stayed there because it was close to the hospital. Next time I will stay somewhere nicer that is a few more miles away.

We were there to visit family. Gramndparents day at school and two confirmations.
The room was O.K. but the bathroom was full of mold around the tub and in the corners. We would probably stay their again if nothing else was open.

Situated just a few minutes outside of Downtown, the 7 Star Motel is convenient to McMillan Marsh Wildlife Area, Wildwood Park and Zoo, University of Wisconsin-Marshfield, Fox Fire Botanical Gardens, golf courses, shopping, museums, and many dining options. Guests will enjoy comfortable rooms, a 24 hour juice and coffee bar, on-site laundry facilities, and free wireless internet. Pet friendly with $7 per pet per night fee. Children 12 and under stay free with paying adult. Please advise if traveling with pets or children.

Good and bad... staff was friendly but barely spoke English, room key cards kept de-activating and had to have someone let us in the room, NO CELL SERVICE ANYWHERE- but not just in the hotel, pretty much the whole city! Floors were slanted throughout the room and the bathroom door stuck and was very difficult to open and close, continental breakfast was lacking- and though the cereal dispenser said Honey Nut Scooters, it was filled with stale Raisin Bran. HOWEVER, beds were very comfy with big fluffy pillows, which adds a big plus for me.

Nice room; ok stay

[...] listed prices of $64.00 w/o free breakfast and $67.20 with free breakfast. But, hotel only offers free breakfasts on week days so we missed out on that--but apparently paid for it. The nightly room charge was also a little higher at $69.00.Manager didn't offer anything more than that [...] is supposed to take info from the hotel's web site which states free breakfast Monday thru Friday.

Check-in was nice and the rooms are clean if somewhat dated. The restaurant is good for breakfast and dinner, and on the weekends there is a brunch. It is Family friendly. On some weekends however there may be weddings here, which can get loud but not rowdy. Overall a very good experience.

The room must have been a smoking room in the past, It had that fung smell. The price was good enough to overlook the smell,after awile you get used to it but they should do something about it, if we were not tired we would have went somewhere else. The pool looked nice and the hot tub was good. Beds and pillows were clean and nice,shower and tub was clean but watch your step when climbing out of the tub it's a refit and is a different hieght than the floor. Will stay again maybe?
