Was there for dog competition and to see Cousin. Beware the 15$ per night/pet fee. Rather unfare as they did'nt even clean my room one day. Front desk staff not friendly. Pools were dirty. However, room was clean and quiet. Liked the no noise after 10pm policy.

We weren't told about the Continental Breakfast, until it was too late.

The staff upgraded our room free of charge. Let us check in early. Let me be on the first floor. The pool was clean and lots of fun. The staff waited on my husband without asking and they were all very polite. I loved the teddybear decorations for Christmas they had all throughout the hotel. We enjoyed our stay there and would definately stay again. I think the hotel could get a arcade room for the kids and they need to fix the snack machine to take quarters. Otherwise it was awesome.

A slightly older facility, but very well maintained. Interior and exterior very clean and orderly. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was average. Pool and hot tub looked inviting, even though we had no intentions of using it. We would stay again.

Decent Holiday Inn in a great location. Seemed silly they charge for parking (even though it's just $3 a night - just the principle) Other parking is free down in the downtown area.
Fantastic homemade ice cream shop accross the street, I would highly recommend. Comfy beds, nice staff, could use a bit of udating as far as carpet and decor, but still fairly updated.

"Affordable Weekend Wedding Stay"

We stayed for 2 nights while in town for a wedding and we chose this hotel because it's location was in good proximity to where the wedding was being held. The hotel itself was clean and the staff was friendly. Our air conditioner was older so it didn't keep the humidity out of the room so we consistently had a cool/damp feeling and that was a bit annoying. Other then that we had a pretty average stay. It suited our needs and the price was great for us because we didn't want a big hotel expense. If needed we'd probably stay again.

We needed a place to stay overnight as we attended an event at the convention center. The room was clean and things were in good repair, but the coffee maker carafe was missing and the [...] website said the room had a recliner and there was just a plain upholstered chair in the room. Our room was quiet. The bed and pillows were both very hard and uncomfortable. The continental breakfast included cereal, donuts, bagels, toast, and toaster waffles along with beverages.

My trip to La Crosse was for buusiness. The hotel provided a great place to relax and work while out of the office. The property was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very helpful and polite. Everything we needed was on-site or within walking distance. I would definately recommend this propoerty to other travelers and when back in the La Crosse area will revisit this hotel again.

Upon checking in, counter person was extremely friendly and had a likable attitude. She was very accomodating. Room was nice and was clean for the price. Bed was very comfortable. Pool water seemed cloudy and seemed to be lacking chlorine or filtering needed maintenance. Did not use pool for this reason. Good economical place to stay for a "one-nighter".

Stayed for a weekend train show. Average accomondations with microwave and fridge. Hair dryer, iron with board also in room. Pool was available. Continental breakfast was limited. For my purposes I was satisfied with my choice. Staff helpful.

Good service from the staff, but the odor from the smoker rooms was nauseating. I don't think our room was a smoker room, but because of a mis-aligned door, the odor easily seeped into our room, making our room (and clothing) smell like cigarette smoke. Filthy.

First I have to say the staff was soo friendly, helpful, and nice. When we 1st arrived to La Crosse we call the hotel and they sent a courtesy taxi to come and get us from the airport...nice. The room was a two bedroom, but as our stay went on we realized we should have gotten a room with a microwave and refrigerator. It was kind of noisey cause there were kids in the hotel but it wasn't that bothersome. The room had wi-fi plus! And the room was nice and clean.

I have stayed at the La Crosse Days Inn on a number of occasions. It is comfortable, but a little dated. Typically it is a good value. My only complaint this last time was concerning the attitude of the employees. They were slow to respond at the front desk. In addition, they were indifferent. I thought that I was dealing with someone from the Post Office. Management needs to call some of these employees on the carpet and motivate them once again. They have forgotten the meaning of customer service.

The staff was great. continetal breakfast was good. Bad outlet so I couldn't plug in my laptop in at the desk. Shower curtain rod was mounted to close so that the shower cutain stuck to me the intier time I bathed. Might stay somewhere else next time.

New, clean rooms; bed was comfortable and the room was just overall welcoming and a great place to relax. I would absolutely hands-down stay again and again. The front desk personnel were welcoming, friendly and caring. Really, I would recommend this hotel to all.

not the greatest hotel ever

We stayed for five nights and the hotel never cleaned the room. I am ok with picking up after ourselves but we do need clean towels and garbage taken out. Our room keys hardly ever worked and the free wi-fi they offer never worked. I will never stay at that econo lodge again.

O.K. THE HONEST TRUE IS WE COULD HAD STAID WITH MY SON WHO LIVES IN LA CROSSE,BUT WE DISERED TO RENT A ROOM SO WE COULD GET A VERY GOOD NIGHT SLEEP SINCE WE HAD A VERY SPECIAL EVENT TO GO THE NEXT DAY. WE GOT IN BED AROUND 10:30 p.m.AND ABOUT 11:00P.M.WE STARED TO HEAR PEOPLE RUNNING ,TALKING ,WAY,WAY........ LOUD AND SCREAMING, THIS WENT ON ALL NITE.SO AND OTHER WORDS WE DID NOT GET ANY SLEEP THAT NITE NONE,ZERO.WE HEARD SOMEONE COMING UP AT LEASE TWICE TO TALK TO THE UNRUDLY PEOPLE IF ANYTHING THINGS GOT WORTH.SO BY THE TIME THIS PEOPLE SHUT UP IT WAS TIME FOR US TO GET UP.I AM VERY MAD .WHAT KIND OF MANANAGEMENT DO YOU HAVE ? I DID CALLED FRONT DESK AROUND 4.A.M. TO COMPLAINT AND THE GUY TOLD ME THAT WE SHOULD HAD CALL EARLIER, BUT THEN AGAIN HE SAID THAT HE HEARD THEM ONCE,TWICE.AND TRIED TO GET THEM TO STOP.NOT ENOUGH FOR ME.AGAIN WE FEEL LIKE WE WOULD HAD BEEN BETTER OF STAYING WITH MY SON NOT HAD TO SPENT A DIME.
