Description
Our hotel features an indoor pool, whirlpool, steam room and fitness center. All rooms are equipped with high-speed wireless internet, work desks and 32 inch flat-screen televisions. Glacier Rock Restaurant and Lounge is on the premises and offers daily luncheon and dinner menus. We are located eight miles from Wisconsin Dells, two miles from Ho-Chunk Casino, five miles from the International Crane Foundation and four miles from Devils Lake State Park. Baraboo is also home to the Circus World Museum, and we are located conveniently right on Hwy. 12.

The hotel needs a lot of work. My room door was worped and I had to slam it to get it closed. The air conditioner was loud an out dated.

This was our second trip to Wisconsin and the Clarion was not bad. Some of the machines in the exercise room were not working and the pool was closed for maintenance in the middle of the day but otherwise it was not bad. It was convenient for restaurants, attractions, parks, lakes, and the Dills. We especially enjoyed the Mid-Continent Railway Museum in North Freedom, just off of Rt. 136; Devil's Lake State Park, just off of Rt. 123 and downtown county courthouse square where we enjoyed a free concert. The pool area was most enjoyable and their restaurant was convenient.

We were just enjoying hiking, walks at night at Wisconsin Dells, horsebackriding, etc. Motel is located close to those attractions, but far enough to be quite.

The hotel was a great place to crash. The outdoor pool was out of order, along with other amenities. They also advertised a tanning bed that "they were supposed to take off the new brochures." Honestly though, the room was really clean & housekeeping did a great job keeping it that way. The location is REALLY close to the Dells, but not in the middle of chaos & hard to get in & out of. It would've been nice to have a room with a balcony, or chairs to relax in outside, but there wasn't. If you're planning a vacation, not looking to break the bank, & not spend all your time at a hotel, this is definitely worth looking into. Oh, but don't forget to bring shampoo/conditioner/lotion because the hotel doesn't provide it!

Needed a room in the area for a one night stay and didn't want all the amenities (and cost) that come with the typical Dells resort hotel. This Motel 6 fit the bill. It was clean, comfortable, affordable, had friendly staff, and was near the Dells restaurants and shops that extend north of I-90. Be aware, there is no mini-fridge, microwave, or safe in the rooms, the cable TV is small, and there is no breakfast included with your stay. One improvement they could make is to change to the curved shower rods to add room to the shower/tub; it is not for large folks or those over 6'2". That said, everything else was very pleasant!
