This Hilton hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly and courteous. We were very satisfied with all aspects of the hotel except for the scent used in cleaning the rooms. It was strong and clinging and made us quite allergic. We would not book another stay because of the smell.

It wasn't revolutionary, but the Vancouver Hilton delivered the goods as promised. If I can find the deal I had there again, I'll definitely choose to stay there if I am in Vancouver.

Stayed at Red Lion because attending Portland Swap Meet about 2 miles away. Clean room but not available at 3pm and could hear foot steps from room above. Has restaurant and bar - very busy on Friday night we were there. Good Happy hour specials including food.

The stay at the Quay was great, was staying there to attend a business convention in Portland, Oregon, but the people working the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The place was very relaxing, and every time I returned from the convention the sheets were fixed, there was brand new towels and everything was neat. To other trips it was a little different, just because I had the room all to myself.

The hotel was very close to everything necessary for this training weekend. The Hotel Staff were very accommodating and friendly. The bathtub stopper was broken, I reported it and it was fixed immediately. The breakfast bar was very good. The only thing I would say needed improvement is to plan better for larger groups for the breakfast and to provide more than one washer and dryer for guests. Very clean.

i can only say one negative regarding my stay at this hotel and that was that my bedroom floor squeaked and the floor above me as well. My only option to address this was to request a room change or turn on the a/c to drown the noise. I chose the latter. Other than this, my hotel was excellent in every other way!

It was avery nice hotel. The staff was very accomendating in allowing to check in after flying all night from Alaska and arriving at 530am . They heldthe room no extra charge. All things were great. Close to the river walk and very clean area no trash. Can not write anything bad , all was great.

Attending convention at the Vancouver Hilton down the street. Stayed at the Econo Lodge last year for this same event. This year, the ice machine (there is one) was not working and they had no plans to fix it or to provide ice in an alternative way. Also, if you had not left your room by 11 am, there would be no cleaning service for the day.
Also, when I arrived on the first day, there were crumbs and other debris under the footstool and chair which had been missed in the cleanup.
Office staff were friendly, but didn't seem to view the guests needs as important in light of the hours they would have cleaning staff present, etc. Very convenient to the Hilton, but I will not be staying there next year as the savings was minimal in comparison to the quality of service.

This hotel was pretty decent for the price. It is right in the middle of downtown Vancouver and there is easy access to everywhere. Room was very clean but had an unusual odor to it (non-smoking room). You did not notice it after awhile. My only real complaint was that the television had an electronic volume limiter and you could not hear the television when the air conditioning was on. Overall though it was a good experience. I have definitely stayed in worse and definitely stayed in better. Good middle of the road hotel.

Clean hotel. Pretty quiet. A lot of daytime area things to do, located right next to a mall. The pool was warm and fun, the hot tub was nice. The staff was friendly. A great stay for the price. A very light breakfast served, with either cereal or toaster waffles. Not the nicest hotel, but nicer than expected for the rates paid. An overall good place to stay, I would definitely stay there again!

The room was spacious, plenty for three of us and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was great, much more than the typical continental breakfasts you find at many hotels. Nice indoor pool, hot tub and sauna area. Wish they had flatscreen TV instead of the older model, but it worked just fine.

After a long, hot drive up from Eugene we were thrilled when we saw our room at this hotel! Beautifully decorated and included everything I expected and more. The front desk girl was very helpful and one of the maids went out of her way to get us an extra ice bucket for our room. It was great that we could walk to several restaurants in the area too. Totally enjoyed our weekend here.

As expected; we'd been there before. Surprised, however, at how noisy the rooms are that abut the street. And, there was an ant problem in our room. Overall, very comfortable, everything worked, heated pool, decent free breakfast, and very convenient to all that we needed and wanted to do.

The hotel is located near shopping and restaurants very convenient.The hotel looks much like condos rather than the average hotel with no privacy. The room was large and the kitchen was well stocked,too bad we didn't have time to use the fireplace. I would defiantly return as it is quiet, clean, updated, and the staff is very friendly!

We were in town for a wedding and needed a comfortable home away from home. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great. Will stay here again and highly reccommend.

The hotel was located about 4/10 of a mile from where offices I was visiting, a nice walk to get each day started. A variety of restaurants were also with-in easy walking distance. I never needed a car.
The room was spotless clean, comfortable bed and pillows, easy and precise temperature control. I had a great nights rest each evening.

There were some dresser drawers that hadn't been cleaned out, but the rest was okay. The kids loved the pool and they have towels out there, so there isn't a need to bring your own. Free breakfast was great!

Clean hotel, very nice staff, pretty good free hot breakfast that goes beyond your basic toast and cereal. Seems like most guests are business travelers, at least during the week. I stayed there with a 2 year old and the staff was very nice to us. Surprisingly comfortable bed.

Clean bed with warm bedding. Pool and hot tub had clean water if a bit strong on the chemicals. Morning breafast had a good selection if a bit plain. All the staff we met were friendly.
Pretty easy to get to from PDX airport, 10 minutes or so 1/2 mile off I-205.
Not a high end hotel but a good hotel at what was a fair price for us. We sayed for a week visiting family in Portland

Most of the staff was very friendly. I thought the wifi was free, it is additional cost.
I kept waking up to itching and suspect bedbugs. I called down to the desk and the women gave me a king size mattress pad and extra sheets to put over the mattress.
I was running late and ask for a late check out the staff gave me a whole 30 minutes and said she will charge me and extra $25 if I did not leave. Other then that the room was nice. I enjoy having a kitchen in the room

Nice Place to Relax and Recharge

After a long day of helping my son move to a new apartment I needed a place to rest, relax and recharge for the long drive home. This La Quinta was perfect and had a fantastic rate. The location is north of Vancouver, WA where I5 and 205 come together which makes it ideal depending on which way you need to go. There are plenty of places to eat and gas stations to refuel. The rooms are nicely decorated and the staff was pleasant and professional. The complimentary breakfast includes waffle station, biscuits and gravy, assortment of fruit and juices.

Easy to find, recently renovated with spacious rooms. The breakfast was fine. If there was a minor complaint, the bed was not very comfortable, yet the last time we stayed there in March, the bed was perfect so must vary room to room.

It was noisy. A wedding reception blasted music until 11:00pm. It rocked my room. The clock in my room was set one hour ahead. I awakened earlier than I planned. I was tired from the nosie and the early awakening. I was dragging the rest of the day.

We really liked this hotel. It was quite busy and kind of loud in the lobby/restaurant area. We had a new room on the 4th level and it was just perfect. Very clean all new linens. Large rainhead shower head in a beautiful large shower. The pool area was very nice also (as was the exercise room). We will stay here again.

Wasn't what I had expected...

Friends and I went to a concert in Portland Oregon and we stayed here because it was cheap and it said it was close to the Rose Garden. However, it was not close, ~15 miles from the location. The room was descent however is smelled of smoke. The hall smelled odd and the entrance hall from the side of the building smelled horrible. It was a good price but I feel that since the location was not as close as was said, we ended up spending more in cab fair to get to and from the event. Also, trying to get to the hotel is a pain. Since we were not from the location, the directions point you to the street of the hotel, however, you have to end up turning around in the shopping center next door to actually get to the hotel because of medians blocking the entrance. There is no separate entrance to the hotel. The place also looks a bit rugged. Some of the screens on the windows are torn or in bad shape. It looks quite beat up and not taken care of. However, inside the place, it looks nice and its rather quiet until someone takes a shower next door then it is a bit loud but other than that, it wasn't really all that bad of a place. I have stayed at a Days Inn before and I can say that my experience here is different in a worse way then from before. The staff was friendly as well, even very late at night. At check in, the front desk staff was off doing other things so I did have to wait a while before checking in but it wasn't that much of an inconvenience to me. I would say that overall, its a descent place to stay but I wouldn't stay there again.

Room was older, but remodeled. There was a tv, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Bathroom was clean. I enjoyed a quiet night there and the cost was very reasonable. I probably will stay there again soon.
