I always like staying at this hotel

  • Jon from Minneapolis
  • Oct 9, 2012
I've stayed here twice while interviewing for a job and then apartment hunting. The location is great. Just a few blocks from Pike Place Market, downtown bus and light rail stops, downtown shopping and restaurants. The staff and valet were awesome for our entire stay. They certainly didn't mind taking our rental car out of valet multiple times a day. The queen sized room is small, but its just perfect for what you actually need. My girlfriend and I were quite comfortable with the queen sized bed and the space in the room. Also, free wifi throughout the hotel.

Such a perfect hotel, half a block from Pikes Place Market. The lobby blended modern design with local native American art. So many eating spots, so little time. Loved the patio on the 5th floor, overlooked the bay, it doesn't really matter if your room faces the water.

Inn at the Market Seattle Hotel

We were able to experience Pike's Market, St. James the Apostle Cathedral, and many wonderful restaurants on foot from this ideal location. The quick link train brought us from the airport for a nominal fee and delivered us only two blocks from the hotel. Taxis were readily available from this location. The hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We could view the harbor and our cruise ship from the patio deck, an ideal spot to enjoy fabulous Seattle coffee. The rooms were spacious, immaculately maintained, and the bed and pillows extremely comfortable. The public restrooms were generously appointed with fine soaps and lotions. I loved this Hotel and plan to make it my regular stay anytime I travel to Seattle. It was perfect in every way, shape and form.

Nice hotel in a great location

Great location if you want easy walking distance to Pike Place Market, mass transit, shopping, eating, museums and the symphony. The monorail is a couple of blocks away, so easy access to the Space needle and the Pacific Science Center. Very good staff, valet parking is $42/day and they send you out your last day with cookies and milk. Each room has it's own little keurig. In this day and age, it seems absurd that such a nice hotel would charge for wireless internet access, we just walked down one of the Starbuck's (there is one on every other block).

We had s very nice stay at Ace for a night after our cruise and before our flight. It isn't your usual hotel experience, but that was what made it nice. We opted for a room with it's own bathroom for the three of us. Staff was very helpful and friendly. One of the guest was not, but staff definitely was. Close enough to walk around to all the main downtown destinations like Pike Place and the Space Needle and the free Link system. Bed was incredible. Hotel funky and cool. The included continental breakfast was nice as well.

Nice hotel and staff. Centrally located. We had. Top floor one bedroom suite with floor to ceiling windows do great light and skyline views. Nice large bathroom . The living room had a love seat, dek and chair. It wasn't large. Room service dinner was below average. I had salmon, which was dry and tasteless. My daughter had fried chicken, which she thought was only so-so. Seattle has great restaurants so no need to eat meciocre hotel food. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Quick and pleasant check in. Large room, kingsize bed, free wifi. Large bathroom, powerful shower. However, room next to flyover, constant hum of traffic, not that bad but noticeable. Good location, walkable to Pike Market and Space Needle. Excellent breakfast, wide variety as much as you want. Quick, efficient check out. Not a modern hotel, looking a little worn around the edges, but would recommend at the right price.

Nice Place to Stay Near Downtown Seattle

  • Marvtv
  • Nov 21, 2012
Very nice rooms and great staff. Parking was good and there are a lot of good restaurants near the hotel. The monorail was nice to be close by (3-4 blocks) to take to downtown shopping-- save your parking money and take the monorail. The only odd thing about my room was the door was a bit (1/3 in) short of the jamb on the lock side making it somewhat easy to see through. The hallway wall hides the defect a little bit, but the noise/voices from the hallway easily come through. Room was clean and the free WiFi was nice to have. I'm not convinced about the soap dispensers near the sink or in the shower, but they were filled up properly and I never ran out of soap, conditioner or lotion. Thanks for the umbrella too; I really needed it.

We stayed there to attend a couple of Mariner games. It was a great location, just outside of the park. The room was large and very clean. Enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Lots of good restaurants close by to the hotel. Close enough to walk downtown and they do run a free shuttle to downtown also.

Rather than having to decide who would be the designated driver, the wife & I booked a room at the Silver Cloud Stadium. This hotel was closer to our seats than our car would be had we parked in the Safeco parking lot. The hotel, and our room, were very nice and very clean. We chose a Safeco view room and it was awesome! We could see our seats in the Hit-It-Here Cafe from our hotel room. We were able to watch all the hustle & bustle of people lining up before the games. Being able to stumble across the street to our bed was worth its weight in gold.

Large room, great location

  • Sleepy in Seattle
  • Dec 22, 2012
We live in Seattle, but wanted to get a hotel downtown for the night of an office holiday party. The location was perfect and we were pleasantly surprised by the large size of the room. Others have commented on city noise, but we did not notice anything (we were on an upper floor). The bathroom is tiny, but placement of shelves and hooks make good use of the space. We found a great online deal and so it turned out to be a perfect choice for the night, but had we paid the standard rate it might have been a little overpriced for us. Breakfast at Lola the next morning was incredible (get the donuts)!

Perfect location with a quick walk to space needle, pikes place market/pier and downtown shopping and convention center. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby and even a grocery store and a cinema. There is a restaurant in the lobby but we didn't eat there. The room was very nice and clean with inviting and cooling romantic blue hues. The bathroom was actually perfect With a big tub for a hot bath and a nice frosted subdued lighting. The staff was friendly and very helpful pointing out interesting attractions and a great tip for dinner. I would definitely stay at Hotel Andra again.

The Front Desk staff was very helpful and tried everything to make us happy. Thanks Alex. The rooms were nice and clean. It's right at the Spaceneedle. Perfect Location. I wish the hotel would include the parking in the price. I hate to pay 15$ a day for parking. Breakfast was good. But the staff could smile a little bit more. If we come to Seattle again, we will stay there again.

The fact that it had a restaurant inside the hotel only made it more conveinient for us, we didn't have to walk or drive anywhere to get something to eat. The Manager was even kind enough to give us a map of Seattle and show us some awesome places to go while staying there. I even left something that belonged to me in our room by accident so I called and talked to the Manager to see if the cleaning staff had found anything and he said they did and offered to ship it to our home in Spokane, WA. That was a huge plus right there.

The staff was courteous and plentiful. I checked in late and there were still 6 people at the desk. I was tickled when they offered me an upgraded room.

Great stay for the price, customer service fantastic!

I really liked this hotel, the free internet and free parking made it completely worth it. The room was large and had a microwave, refrigerator, great coffee maker and other little amenities that most hotels do not have. The room was clean, the services and staff were excellent and the prices were great, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Great restaurant choices nearby as well!

Nice, modern hotel within walking distance to the University and a robust shopping and dining district. Free Wi-Fi and parking are a great perk. Complimentary shuttle to downtown and most attractions was very appreciated. Clean, neat and comfortable. I would recommend and stay again.

It was a okay hotel in downtown but the valet was expensive as is all parking in downtown Seattle. The rooms were small at To me way overpriced. The best part was location which was in downtown and close to everything

Quick Business Trip

Overnight stay on business. Great area with close shopping and restaurants. A little noisy at times and the room was really hot even after turning on the AC.

Great location but needs some improvement

  • Sonny K.
  • Aug 11, 2012
Location is perfect, right by University Village Shopping Mall. Good restaurants across streets. Beds are comfy and rooms are spotlessly clean. Two things to be improved. First, the indoor pool's water quality was not so good. Too much materials on the surface even in the morning. The water smelled bad. Second, vending machines need to be refilled and needs more variety. Breakfast was too simple but good. All in all, great hotel in great location but, considering its price, it has a few things to be improved.
