The room was fine. The staff was very helpful, and knowledgable about the local. Parking was a challenge but the staff helped me fine my way. The only thing I wished for was coffee in the room. Next time I will bring my own. A great value overall.

Great time to reconnect
-
SZauner
- Dec 6, 2012
Enjoyed the room, the bed/pillows, the amenities, kitchen, the restaurant and the location.
The only thing I would add to make it a 5 star would be a business center of some kind to read emails and the like vice having to take a laptop with you.
Everyone was great!

Nice Place to Stay Near Downtown Seattle
-
Marvtv
- Nov 21, 2012
Very nice rooms and great staff. Parking was good and there are a lot of good restaurants near the hotel. The monorail was nice to be close by (3-4 blocks) to take to downtown shopping-- save your parking money and take the monorail.
The only odd thing about my room was the door was a bit (1/3 in) short of the jamb on the lock side making it somewhat easy to see through. The hallway wall hides the defect a little bit, but the noise/voices from the hallway easily come through.
Room was clean and the free WiFi was nice to have. I'm not convinced about the soap dispensers near the sink or in the shower, but they were filled up properly and I never ran out of soap, conditioner or lotion. Thanks for the umbrella too; I really needed it.

The Front Desk staff was very helpful and tried everything to make us happy. Thanks Alex. The rooms were nice and clean. It's right at the Spaceneedle. Perfect Location. I wish the hotel would include the parking in the price. I hate to pay 15$ a day for parking. Breakfast was good. But the staff could smile a little bit more. If we come to Seattle again, we will stay there again.

This hotel was in a great location to where we needed to be while in Seattle. The fact that it had a restaurant inside the hotel only made it more conveinient for us, we didn't have to walk or drive anywhere to get something to eat. The Manager was even kind enough to give us a map of Seattle and show us some awesome places to go while staying there. I even left something that belonged to me in our room by accident so I called and talked to the Manager to see if the cleaning staff had found anything and he said they did and offered to ship it to our home in Spokane, WA. That was a huge plus right there.

This is a newer hotel, very close to the Space Needle/EMP Seattle Center but convenient to the heart of downtown (1/2 mile). Such a great room layout, VERY comfy, huge couch, super mattress. The hotel has pretty much all you could need, though on a smaller scale, and is right across from a Walgreens if you need anything. Great for vacationers or buisness. I will be staying there again.

Concierge was great! He made many recommendations to save us time and money. Can't say enough good things about him. Rooms were a little small and dated, but very clean and comfortable; had all the necessary amenities. Beds were great as was location for sightseeing. Price was very competitive. Price did not include breakfast, but hotel restaurant was reasonably priced and food was satisfactory; pretty full menu. One drawback is lobby open design, which allowed noise and restaurant odors to permeate at least to the 2nd floor. Wi-fi not secured and little difficult to connect to, at least the first time; probably due to over-load.

The front desk staff were friendly and efficient...excellent location for my needs...easily took the monorail to downtown shopping area and back - it runs until 11:00PM......the room was clean and had a desk which is always welcomed...I was in Rm 210....major problem was loud noise from - I assume water pipes - coursing through walls....had difficulty sleeping...noise never let up entire time I was in the room...left feeling annoyed and tired...will not return here....there are other comparably priced hotels in this area.....

I had a very good overall experience at this (relatively) inexpensive hotel right in the heart of Seattle. There was a lot of construction going on in the surrounding area which made navigating to/from the hotel more difficult than it would have been otherwise, but not the hotel's fault. A couple of the staff members could have been more pleasant, but overall a very good experience.

Family road trip covering three states and four motels/hotels. This La Quinta Seattle Downtown was a standout! Location is great to walk to Spave Needle, longer walk from Pike Place Market but it was not grueling, and I am not a walker. Whole Foods is only 2 blocks away, and a Walgreens about 5 blocks away. In two days, we did not move our car!
Decor was boutique hotel style. Spacious lounges and work area with 2 macs and printers available for checking email and printing boarding passes, etc. Free parking, wi-fi, probably many more amenities (such as their fitness room) that we did not try.
The free breakfast was more than a continental breakfast This had cold and hot cereals, breads, biscuits and gravy, and a make-your-own waffle station. And, of course, coffees and teas, and convenient take-out cups. There was also lemon water and lemonade in the lobby, and fresh-baked cookies in the evening.
This was a good value for our family and I won't hesitate to hook again.

The La Quinta Inn and Suites is a welcoming, comfortable hotel, with nice lobby and rooms. Breakfast is included; the most pleasant part of it is making your own waffle using a waffle iron. The front desk personnel are very helpful and friendly. The computers in the lobby weren't working perfectly, and the neighborhood is a little seedy, but overall it was a pleasant place to spend a night before heading for the airport, especially since we planned to visit the Space Needle a few blocks away.

The Hotel is very reasonable conveniently located downtown near the Space Needle and Pike's Market. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and were very helpful in lining up cabs and shuttles. the hotel and rooms are a little dated, but the beds were comfortable. All in all, a pleasant experience.

This was a great value and the location near the Needle and Key Center (for our Madonna Concert) was great!!! two blocks! With a 24 hour grocery and drug store nearby, and multiple Restaurants.... fantastic location. PLUS, the monorail from the Needle to downtown is fast and easy also! One block away is a French Quarter type restaurant and lounge. FABULOUS!!!

I'm all for a good value and The King's Inn is all of that in downtown Seattle. Kings Inn was probably built in the time of the Seattle Worlds Fair of 1962 and it feels like it even now. You can't ask for a more convenient location: downtown in the heart of Seattle - near everything, some off-street parking (bring a club for your steering wheel or leave nothing of value in your car). We took the least expensive room: tiny studio w/Queen bed and bathroom for about $80/night including tax. The bed was surprisingly comfortable: had better, had worse.
There is, however, no reason why economy should come at the sacrifice of basic hospitality. Our room had no coffee pot - not even a plastic drink cup. A folding suitcase stand is not a luxury. Inadequate water pressure to sink and shower. Someone didn't vacuum the floors very well before we arrived.
If you just need a place to sleep: this is the place. Anything more in terms of expectation may cause some disappointment here.

If you want to stay in downtown Seattle on the cheap, this place is OK for a night or two if you don't mind some noise and smells. It's not exactly dirty but not very far up the scale either. The staff is friendly enough.
There is free Wi-Fi. The key is posted on the front door of the office.
