Had a good experience at the Warwick Seattle. It seems to occupy transitional space between conference/business/shopping areas downtown and an area that hasn't gotten the same amount of, let's say, redevelopment attention.

I will preface this review by saying that I would absolutely stay at this hotel again, with my family of 4.
A concern that we had about the hotel: the bathroom has an open "window" (there's no glass) that looks out into the living area. If you don't close the privacy screen, then anyone in the living area (including your kids!) will have a full view into the bathroom. When closed, the screen doesn't lock and doesn't really buffer any bathroom noise.
Other things (good and bad) to consider:
- valet parking is $39/day
- there is a great grocery store (Whole Foods) under the hotel that has a buffet ... our kids loved the food.
- very small refrigerator in the room (it's the minibar, which you can ask to be emptied).
- no microwave, but available upon request
- not really walking distance to attractions, but comfortably close if you have a car.
- all of the staff is absolutely marvelous
- also at the base of the hotel is a Starbucks and a great pizzeria ... both of which are super kid-friendly.

It was a great room with a fantastic view. The room was clean and very comfortable. The beds are some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Located in the heart of downtown Seattle is very convenient and saves on having to get a cab. Many shops and resturants are located within easy walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Seattle.

This place had great location and the staff was amazing. The lobby and bar were so pretty. The room was a bit smaller than I thought from the online pic. I left my credit card at the bar and security called immediately to let me know they had it. Over all I would stay there again.

I loved the Inn at Queen Ann so much that I was very sad to leave my room in the morning and happy to come back at night. The rooms are very basic but very, very comfortable and very, very, very clean. I am very particular when it comes to cleanliness and the Queen Ann met and exceeded my standards. The rooms have a kitchenette that comes in handy, and there's a 24-hour nice supermarket one block away. The building is very old. It looks nice but it's by no means fancy. The location is very close to some of the most famous sights in Seattle, such as the Space Needle and Kerry Park. The neighborhood has a ton of good restaurants and (dive) bars that make for an authentic Seattle experience. It is, however, a bit far from downtown. Only ten minutes if you take the Monorail but half hour walking. A cab ride is about $6.
I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Seattle. I would also recommend the Queen Ann to anyone traveling on a budget who still enjoys a comfortable and clean room.

We were in Seattle for a concert at Key Arena, the location couldnt be better. The room was small, but comfortable, our room had two twin beds... we were shocked to see that it also had a fridge, microwave and even a stove top. Excellent value & location and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Definately great for the budget concious, traveler... my only beef was the construction, they started banging away at 6:30 across the street, but you cant hold that against The Inn at Queen Anne...

The best aspect of Hotel Five is the location. We literally took the West Link rail from Sea-Tac right to Westlink station, got off and walked maybe ten minutes to our hotel. )Cost was only ($5.75 for the both of us) Given my boyfriend and are are pretty athletic and we travel light- me with a back-pack and he with one big Nike gym bag-nevertheless we made it comfortably to our hotel. Additionally, we were in the center of all the tourist attractions. We walked about ten minutes to the Space Needle, the EMP museum, and Pikes Place, the Westlake shopping area as well as the Pier. When the snow set in our front desk clerk had great recommendations for where to order take out.
The hotel is currently undergoing renovations but the rooms that are done are great. The noise in the morning was a bit loud- not ideal for sleeping in but bearable the walls were very thin however. The design is very modern. Loved the rain shower head but the overall shower was a bit small, and the bed was hard and left a lot to be desired as the sheets were also crisp and not soft.
Overall, a very great priced hotel located in the center of all the great attractions Seattle has to offer. Able to overlook the small shower and lack of bath tub. If you go check out Top Pot Doughnuts right next door.

Great location, lousy wi-fi
-
frustfield
- Sep 9, 2011
Very convenient location, opposite the Seattle Art Museum and just a short walk (albeit uphill) to the Pike Place Market. Good facilities - hot tub, workout room, free hot or cold breakfast. Room was very large with fireplace, french windows, and refrigerator and wet-bar type sink.
However...the wi-fi connectivity was atrocious - kept kicking us offline and the logging in process was a pain (maybe it was my Mac and it's better with a PC!). Carpet was a little shabby and the cleaners were less than scrupulous - minimal vacuuming and no dusting of the venetian blinds on the windows.
All in all I'd say no worse than your average Hilton/Hampton/Sheraton type hotel but nothing to write home about. Staff were friendly and helpful. They had no in-room safe which I would have expected in this hotel - but we put all our important stuff (ipad/MacAir/passports) in a bag and they locked it in the hotel safe, which was fine but a bit of a nuisance if you are coming in and out and need to use those things when you return. As with many hotels there never seem to be enough electrical outlets in the right locations. I think the internet connectivity would have been fine if I had used a LAN (which they will loan you) but if, like me, you have a computer that has no LAN portal then you are stuck with the lousy wireless connection.

Harbor Steps was a wonderful place to stay, the room with the balconey was great and the view from the room awesome!, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the contennial breakfast, and everything was in walking distance. This vacation was the best ever! The only thing we noticed was a faint stale smell of cigarette smoke, other than that the stay was very pleasant and we would stay there again.

Classy Queen Anne Hotel

Put any guest up at this hotel. It's close to downtown Seattle and the restaurants on Queen Anne are amazing and walking distance. They offer free WiFi and Continental Breakfast in the mornings - which make the stay easy and cheaper - but get breakfast across the street at Toulouse Petit - it is the best! The rooms are spacious and have an old classic hotel feel. They typically come with kitchenettes and are laid out like suites. The Junior Suite upstairs has the best view. Overall the accommodations are top notch and the price is very reasonable. It is a good value for your stay.

My friends came to Seattle to see me, and I helped them book this travel lodge for 1 night, with very attractive rate, in the space needle area! Besides the convenient location, the room is neat, breakfast is included, free wifi, and hot tub! what else you want from this rate? My friends are so satisfied that they extended one more night stay. Only one thing holds me back from giving a 5 stars is the $12 parking fee every night, which is quite new to us, other than that, I love it! My friends will stay back there in Christmas, hope that I can get rooms there for them.

We appreciate quality hotels with a historic past. The Sorrento has been very well renovated, and has a very attentive (but properly discreet) staff. The air conditioning could have been better, but there were lots of little touches that most modern hotels don't provide. Some may consider it a bit expensive, but we would definitely consider staying there again.

Gorgeous Hotel

- Nov 11, 2010
The hotel was gorgeous. As a designer, I appreciated the detail in the architecture and the high quality of its finishes. The rooms were just as impressive - with luxury linens, marble tile in the bath, and high end fabrics on the furniture. The dining was spectacular as well. Overall - I loved my stay. The only negative comment I have is: On my departure the front desk and concierge were less than helpful! I was disappointed in their level of interest in doing their job - even though I was leaving. I would not let that stop be from returning - the food and room more than made up for their rude behavior.

We stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed the hotel. It lacks a few amenities--restaurant, bar, but the location is very good for downtown attractions and the room was spacious and comfortable. I'd recommend it for a nice place to stay in Seattle.

The hotel is clean. The staff is very friendly, and the location is prime--close to downtown Seattle and its neighborhoods. One gripe I had was the limited parking spots it had, but other than that, top notch!

This is a good, solid hotel. The staff is all super friendly and the room I had (802) was enormous. I would gladly stay here again; this hotel is a great value.
If I had any quibbles they were that the bathroom is tiny, and the fixtures in it are not as nice as the rest of the hotel. Also, the exercise room has just the bare minimum of stuff, but still enough to do some basic cardio if the weather outside is uncooperative.

Arrived to a pleasant greeting from the studious valet. Walked into an amazing lobby that triggered "oohs & aahs" from my children. Front desk staff were onpoint, cheerful and quick. Room was decorated and designed in a satisfactory way. Once settled, my family and i sat on the couch to relax for a moment. Almost simultaneously we all locked eyes on a round brown object under the coffee table. After closer inspecrtion, we realized it was meat. It wasn't something we brought in with us...which makes it a GROSS OVERSIGHT by housekeeping. Going along with that, there were several pubes that appearted to be glued to the toiletseat by a sweaty butt imprint. Nasty.

The hotel is very comfortable and the staff was amazing. We arrived before our actual check in time and instead of sending us away, they moved upgraded us to a larger suite.
Parking costs $20 a night but the hotel let us keep the car there until 3:00 pm the next day. There is no need to drive to enjoy Seattle once you get there as the Hotel offers a free shuttle service with 3 stops in the downtown area every hour.
The pool/spa was warm and clean.

Quick and pleasant check in. Large room, kingsize bed, free wifi. Large bathroom, powerful shower. However, room next to flyover, constant hum of traffic, not that bad but noticeable. Good location, walkable to Pike Market and Space Needle. Excellent breakfast, wide variety as much as you want. Quick, efficient check out. Not a modern hotel, looking a little worn around the edges, but would recommend at the right price.
