Ordinary room with outdated TV that didn't get good reception but otherwise no complaints. Setting is beautiful along the Columbia River. Right outside the door you can join the public shoreline park to walk. Included breakfast was a bonus. Take your extra pillows because there were only 2 in the room with one kingsize bed. Pricing was fair for the accommodations.

Richland wasn't where we needed to be-but it was worth the drive from Pasco..15min. We had a river view-catherdral ceiling-balcony. Walk right down to the river walk/park, easy access to our car. Large lawn area to walk the pooch-volley ball court rt by pool and lawn. Wld stay there again!

I was in town on business, this is a great location near places to eat, easy to get in and out, good beds, great view if your towards the river, but close to it anyway.

The hotel was simple the staff was freindly and willing to please. The rooms were smelly, kind of old and the bed was very poorly made with old sheets that didn't fit a king size bed

Low price hotel for region, but it shows. Beds are rather hard, breakfast pretty scanty. Towels were soft though and the staff was professional and friendly.

Friendly and comfortable hotel

We found the hotel to be very nice. The king-sized bed was very hard, but there was a sofabed that was comfy and we used that. Everything else was perfect. The hotel had a great breakfast bar with everything anyone could want for breakfast. They also served soup and crackers each evening at 6:30. In the cold of December, that soup was very welcome. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We would stay there again, and recommend it to anyone.

Good Place to stay

I've stayed at Hampton Inns for business and pleasure. They have a consistent product which is quite satisfactory if you're not looking for something glamorous. The Hamton Inn Richland was very clean and quiet; settled beside the Columbia River. Weather permitting, I highly recommend taking a stroll along the river from the hotel.

WE WERE EARLY FOR CHECK IN, THE GIRL AT THE DESK WAS ABLE TO GET US A ROOM EARLY. THE BED WAS EXTRA COMFORTABLE,AIR CONDITIONER WORKED WELL,THE ROOM WAS PIN QUIET NEVER KNEW THAT THERE WAS ANYONE IN THE HOTEL.
BREAKFAST WAS GOOD WITH MANY CHOICES INCLUDING FRESH WAFFLES, YUM.
RIGHT OUTSIDE THE HOTEL WAS A VERY NICE WALKING PATH ALONG THE RIVER. BEAUTIFUL VIEWS, LOTS OF EXERCISE OPTIONS...WALKING, BIKING RUNNING...ETC. WE HAD NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS HOTEL WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN!

You get what you pay for but you don't pay much

This is my fourth time staying at this hotel. It's bare bones - you'll be reminded of a college dormitory on the first day of school. The walls are cinder block and have nothing on them. The lighting is all fluorescent and a bit dim with two reading lights by the bed and one light for the room.
The No Smoking rooms on a couple of occasions I have stayed there have seemed converted with a clear smell of smoke in the room from years gone by. The bedspreads are old and occasionally have cigarette burns in them.
This might sound like an overall negative review. However, the hotel has been exactly what I am looking for - extremely inexpensive and well situated in the Tri-Cities. Those who are noise sensitive might want to bring ear plugs as some rooms are close to the highway. Wifi is, if I recall correctly, $4 additional.
Overall, you get what you pay for here, but you don't pay much and that's the point.

Practical Lodging for those looking to Save

I got a room that was not always given out. Room was acceptable for the money and owner replaced my refrigerator on demand, provided a pressing iron, and a handicap parking. Great people running the hotel. Needs a bit of cosmetic work though. Baby and wife did not like the air in our specific room so we left window open and sprayed Lysol.
