While this was just an overnight trip for a business opportunity, the hotel was just what prefer for that type of trip. The proximity to my customer fit the bill nicely and I was never disappointed.

We stayed two nights, but booked the nights separately. When we arrived, we got a scare because the curt front desk lady told us we only had a room for one night and the other nights were sold out. We started looking around for other motels, then decided to ask her to check and see if there was a separate booking for the next night. There was! Whew.

I stayed only one night. Hotel desk said they would not charge me for the second night but I would have to go thru you. Hotel was very good but short blanket was annoying

We have stayed at this hotel in the past because of its location. the only drawback is no pool otherwise it is a excellent hotel with an excellent breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel, if having a pool is not on your priority list.

This hotel was in the perfect location for me. I was attending my 40th high school reunion in town and booked reservations at this hotel. There are plenty of good resteraunts around, and great places to visit. The rooms are a good size, and the king sized bed was so comfortable. The one thing that I really liked about the room, was the fact that they put a night-lite in the bathroom. No need to turn a bright light on, when using the bathroom at night. It's the little things that mean a lot to me. I highly recommend this hotel.

Several family friendly venues close by such as Billings Farm and Museum, the Montshire Museum, VINS raptor center, and Quechee Gorge. Upper Valley Lanes and Games bowling and arcade is just a half mile away. With Dartmouth College just 5 miles away we're an official hotel of Dartmouth Athletics. Go Big Green! We have an indoor pool and fitness center for your enjoyment. If you're up for an adventure Montreal is only a three hour drive. Great skiing options include Killington, Pico, Okemo, and Mount Ascutney. Over 40 restaurants are located within a 10 mile radius. The hotel was really nice. Clean rooms and beautiful lobby. The pool area looked nice, but we didn't get to go in due to poor scheduling. The continental breakfast was NOTHING special. My biggest complaint is that even though we didn't get a smoking room, I could smell cigarette smoke in the hallways and once even in our room.

Having stayed in several other area hotels, we found this hotel to be a very nice surprise. It was very clean and fresh, completely renovated less than two years ago, with understated modern decor and up-to-date electronic equipment and furnishings. The rooms are quiet and tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds, well appointed bathrooms, flat screen televisions and cable. Other electronic equipment is also up-to-date, with excellent design and function... one example being that all fixtures have outlets built in so you can easily plug in you own equipment. Only very minor items detracted at all from our stay... the hotel has only single elevator, and a so so 'breakfast'.
Our stay was quite comfortable and the staff were all friendly and professional at all times... a very nice stay.

This is an authentic railroad era hotel situated in the village of White River Jct. Vermont which is part of the larger Dartmouth College community. It is one mile from the interstate highways - 89 and 91 - and central to all the villages of the Upper Valley region. The hotel has been very well maintained and has a country inn feel with a fireplace in the lobby and thoughtfully appointed guest rooms. The village features unique shops several restaurants and eateries as well as excellent professional theater a rail museum easy access to two rivers for swimming canoeing and tubing and daily train excursions. The Hotel Coolidge is situated in the center of the the historic village of White River Jct. Vermont. The village includes a number of eateries a professional theater a passenger rail station with daily service a museum and shops and galleries. It is on the scenic byway of the Connecticut River where it meets the White River and is four miles from Dartmouth College.

It felt like being in 1925. No a/c. Reception person friendly. He tried but didn't know facts. How many rooms? History? Room fairly clean but really OLD. We had a "suite". Bed and sitting room separated by bathroom. Extra sink in sitting room with rust in sink. It was probably a neat spot in 1926. Cal would have loved it.

The Hotel Coolidge was interesting because of its history, but I wish more money had gone toward remodeling and upkeep. The hotel was clean but somewhat shabby. I liked the fact that there was a sitting room and two sinks, but the shower had very little water pressure and inconsistent water temperature. The cable/satellite TV signal was poor. Several channels did not come in clearly at all. For the price, I would have expected more amenities such as a fitness center or even a complimentary breakfast bar. I would recommend the hotel for a short stay, but I would hesitate to return. I could probably find better accomodations for the price.
