Description
The Econo Lodge Montpeleir has been 2009 renovated. Property is within easy access off I-89 at exit 8 and only minutes from downtown Montpelier. All rooms are spacious and include free wireless Internet access. Hotel offers a free continental breakfast with free USA Today newspaper. All Vermont attractions, from Ben and Jerry's to skiing at Stowe Mountain, are nearby. If you need to be in central Vermont, this is the place for you.

The exterior and lobby look great. But don't let that fool you. The room I had was low rent and it smelled of mildew. The room and bathroom were out of date and broken, Broken drain plugs, broken coffee pot, broken drawers on dresser. The good thing is I wasn't there much. The bed was fine. Sunday they didn't even clean my room?

The 100 percent non-smoking Comfort Inn and Suites at Maplewood is ideally located just off Interstate 89, less than three miles from the Vermont State House capitol building. Visitors can enjoy the 5 ski areas nearby or browse antique malls and local specialty shops in the surrounding area. There is a wide variety of dining options. We have a spacious open lobby with balcony lounge. All guest rooms feature microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards and Free Wireless high-speed Internet access. Special VIP suite with whirlpool in living room.

While watching the fall leaves

We stayed there on our 10 day trip to New England to see the fall leaves. The hotel was very loud at night. When I mentioned it to the front desk he said something like last night was not as loud as some nights. Breakfast was really nice., The sheets had a funny ordor, Kinda of a hot burnt smell. The hotel was ok, good location, good breakfast, and free wi-fi with a special code.

Description
Hilltop Inn has served Barre ,Berlin and Montpelier area with superb hospitality for 30 years. We have been rated a 2 Diamond Hotel by AAA... The Hilltop Inn at Vermont offers 81 rooms in a central location. We have an indoor heated pool, restaurant, lounge, cable tv, special rates for snowmobilers and major ski trails only 30 minutes away. We are very close to shopping areas and only 10 minutes away from the state Capital. Come stay with us.

It was a bare-bones hotel stay. The room had a fridge and microwave, but no utensils, cups or dishes you could use. There were some plastic cups that would not survive the microwave. No coffee maker in room. No standard tiny shampoo & lotion. They did have several soaps and toothpaste and a shower cap. Toilet wasnt working properly. TV channels very limited compared to other hotels, but TV was gigantic and nice to watch. It was quiet. Hardly anyone was there. It served it purpose for me - I needed a place to sleep and shower.

Rooms are dated, but clean. If you're aim is to visit downtown Montpelier, consider staying here. Best balance between quality and price.

Description
In creating The Inn at Montpelier great care has been given to retaining the architectural details, the ten fireplaces, the gracious front staircases, the glass fronted china cupboards, to name a few, have all been preserved. The Inn is part of Montpelier's National Historic Distric and takes us back to an era of gracious living. Everyone of our guestrooms is unique. Each has private bathroom, telephone, television and air conditioning and wireless internet to compliment the fine reproductions and antiques. We have a choice of king, queen and twin bedded rooms, many with wood burning fireplaces. Guests may wish to join others in our common rooms, play backgammon by the hearth in the game room or enjoy a quiet moment in the sun room. Our dining room, with its marble fireplace and adjoining breakfast room, offers a fine continental breakfast daily. The pantries provide coffee, teas, cookies and fruit throughout the day. A warm welcome awaits you at The Inn at Montpelier.
