In Summer, there are many fun and exciting events, day trips, and activities to keep you and your family on the go, enjoying the Vermont summer experience. There are over 270 holes awaiting your tee off. In addition, there are three perfectly manicured clay tennis courts for guest use right outside the Clubhouse. The Woods Resort and Spa is your perfect four season getaway. There is no daily housekeeping. Check-in time is 5pm or later from 11/1-4/30 and 4pm or later from 5/1–10/31. Request for early arrivals are accepted when possible but never guaranteed. Check-in at the Wise Vacation offices at 405 Killington Road, Killington VT. Minimum age required for check-in is 21. If you are checking in after the office has closed, we will leave your check-in packet in the lock box. Please use the phone to dial the 24 hour answering service. on access road which is big plus.
the woods have a great spa which comes w/ rental.
only problem for me w/ this unit is the layout.
the whole 2nd floor (the bedroom and the loft) are open to the whole 1st floor.....so you really only have 1 bedroom and then a whole bunch of open common space. if thats not a problem for you great, but if you want privacy of 2 seperate bedrooms this isn't the right place. that being said, unit was real clean w/ plenty of towels and utensils 2 cook.

The North Star Lodge is located 12 miles from Calvin Coolidge Memorial Foundation, four miles away from Killington Golf Course and Pico Mountain. The guests at the hotel can enjoy the heated pool. The property amenities include 24-hour front desk, elevators, sauna, game rooms and parking. The property rooms are equipped with amenities like air conditioning, alarm clocks, cable TVs, Internet access, telephones, fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms with shampoos, soaps and towels. Great value for a great location

Although the room felt like it hasn't seen the decorator since 1990, the location was hard to beat. There is a free shuttle that runs in the early morning and early afternoon to and from the lodge at the ski slopes, which was a great convenience. We visited in the winter, and there was always a wood fire going in one of the two large fireplaces. Breakfast was a nice included amenity. The workout facilities could use some help. There was visible dust in the corners, but the bathroom was clean. The quality of the room was depressed by the obvious damages (i.e. broken closet door) that were never repaired. Hard to beat for the price.

This is a great hotel. This is the closest I have ever stayed to the mountain (it doesn't get much closer) and it was still a great value.
