Lovely but Needs Minor Improvements

The staff was very pleasant and I would definitely stay at the Crowne Plaza in Virginia Beach again. Based on the reason for my trip, the location was great and there was easy access to 264, Independence, and Virginia Beach Blvd and parking was ample.
The downfalls include a shower that could have been rinsed down fully prior to checking in, and a gym that did not have broken treadmills. One of the treadmills was stuck in a foreign language and the other would just randomly stop in the middle of a workout.

I only stayed one night but it was comfortable and a good value. The one thing that was annoying was the ac made some weird noises. Not too bad but annoying when trying to sleep

Had a very nice stay, front desk staff is very NICE. Other staff members can stand to attend a customer service course. Location is good, a bit far from the beach but lots of local establishments are within walking distance.

My wife and I along with my sister in law were here for just 1 night. The only downside to staying in this hotel(8 miles off VA beach)..but its a short drive. Other than that, loved the location and cleanliness. Would recommend anyone for the stay.

me and my sister wanted to party at va beach do we needed a room cheap and quick. The room smelled funny like old Virginia slims but it worked. Freezer for the alcohol, showers were clean, but it wasn't amazing. I literally stayed in the room for a total of 4 hours so I just needed the shower honestly

Just a clean basic hotel close to mall and close drive to beach. Need more hotel and room amenities such as hot tub ,pool,continental breakfast,exercise room. Soda machine,and ice machine.

The room was clean. The furniture wasn't in the best of conditions. The TV and Shower were hard to work. The hot water in the shower had a mind of its own. The bed was nice. It was a little bit loud due to fly overs by the air force.

Nice and cozy BUT lots of bed bugs

I stayed for 3 nights [...]. Lodge was close to many places in the city. Only bad thing that made this stay a horrible experince was the bed bugs. I got bitten more than 15 times. I will not recommend this Hotel because of this main reason.

The hotel met our expectations in all but one respect. The internet service was down off and on over 4 days. The staff was in constant contact with the service provider whose service was abysmal and did not have the authority to contract directly with a competent provider, as these decisions apparently are taken by their sister hotel, Crowne Plaza. This was not acceptable to us nor to the staff.

It is what it is. Pool area clean and neat. Vending machines and tables in area off lobby for breakfast and snacks.
Front desk staff could be more courteous and friendly. Often felt like I was interrupting them when I checked in.

The rooms were freezing. They bedding didnt match and there was no comforter on the beds. I would recommend you bring your own blankets!! Other than that i was an ok place to rest your head for the price and location.
