Decent cheap hotel/motel rental, not the best but not the worst. Much better than other hotels nearby for the price. Motel prices with a hotel feel, rooms are entered through a hallway vs. the outside giving a higher sense of security. Room was clean but a little dingy, bathroom could use a good cleaning or even remodeling - slightly grimy (may want to wear flipflops) but still better than many bathrooms at other local motels. Room price includes WiFi, small exercise roon and a "continental breakfast" which isn't much more than coffee, juice, packaged muffins, fruit & cereal..nothing too special but better than nothing at all! Convenient location across from RIC airport (but ask for a room in the back vs. the front - less plane noise) Overall worth the cheap price for a place to stay for the night!

My daughter and I stayed here and loved it. Excellent. Clean room on first floor. Took advantage of the work out room. Quite small. Had access to a TV in the work out room. Bathroom in room was clean and up to par. Would recommend it for all!

Stayed just overnight with my spouse & 2 kids (8 & 11 yo). The rooms were very nicely done and super-comfortable beds. (kids very intrigued by the comfort-dial feature!) Bathroom was spotless and the shower was bliss! Would definitely recommend--

Front disk personnel were very decent and very friendly with a big smile on face during the check in process. She was very helpful to find a place to dine in. Morning breakfast was good and fresh with reasonable quantities for the number of the guests. In short I will recommend this hotel for the others and I will use it for future trips to Richmond.

confusing on reservatioons, but good hotel

because there are two holiday inns in the samt location there was confusion and headaches on arrival, which cost some addional money and time on canceling and rebook the rooms. I had several members coming in during the thanksgiving holiday and booked 3 separate rooms. I confirmed that they were all in the same hotel PRIOR to there arrival a week before by "the manager. but, when my guest arrived (only my son of all people) they werent in the same hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I left a jacket in the closet and they offered to mail it to me instead of driving two hours back to get it! The bartenders made great drinks & provided nice conversation. Clean hotel, quiet, and close enough to the city.

I stay here on business every few months. Sometimes its not close to my meetings but I prefer staying here. The staff treat you like family and the rooms are always clean and nice. There are several nice restaurants and shopping centers within 2 miles.

There was a ink pen top & strands of hair on the bed upon my arrival. All the lights were unplugged, i thought they didnt work. The mini refrigerator was DISGUSTING!! OVERALL, IT IS WORTH $20 NT $60. I WILL NT B GOING THERE AGAIN.

The overall experience with this hotel/motel was very good. Breakfast was hot -- good choices. Rooms were clean and kept clean. Very quiet, even being close to the airport. However, did not appreciate the maid service using the business center computer that had the only one printer attached to it. Had to wait at least a half an hour before I could access that computer/printer.

We had a 6:00 am flight and wanted to be near the airport so we could get a little more sleep. It suited our needs perfectly. The warm cookies when we checked in were a special treat.

I have used this hotel 3 times, I fly in from the westcoast and always get in very late and prefer to spend the night rather then get on the road. Its afforable, clean, comfortable, friendly staff and the warm chocolate chip cookies upon arrival don't hurt.

There were three rates for this hotel, two rates of 3 and one of 1. One of the last raters had said it was undergoing renovation. The renovation is complete, the paint job in my room was so poor that you could see where they had forgotten to complete the work. There was so much paint on the bathroom door that you couldn't close it. There was paint and rust in the sink and tub. But the sheets were clean, it was cheap, and it was close to the airport. One more thing, the alarm clock in the room was broken.

The staff was friendly and apologetic when I asked for shampoo and they were all out (my bags didn't arrive with me). The motel is cheap and there is a Waffle House and a local restaurant next door. There are some decent pizza deliveries nearby but that is about it. $10 cab ride from airport.

Great way to meet a flight

Our family spent the night here because husband had to catch an early flight out of Richmond. We were given a King Suite with kitchenette. The room was spacious and well decorated. Oddly enough the large picture over the couch was hung upside down. Has no previous guest noticed? Kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast with a variety of choices. Only negative aspects of our experience was that the card-key lock in the entrance near our room was not functioning and the water pressure in the shower was terrible! Enjoyable stay none-the-less.

Convenient low cost hotel

The hotel is in a less than desirable area of Richmond but it is very convenient to the Richmond Airport. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely nice and accommodating. He let us change rooms so that we could get adjoining rooms with no hassle. If you're leaving out of Richmond early AM, there is no need to get to the airport 2 hours early. We arrived 1 hour early and were at our gate in 15 minutes!

Our first night was spent in a room with air conditioning that did not work right. The next day we were moved to a room with nice cool air...no questions asked....very helpful. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. We needed a couple of shuttles and they were prompt in getting us where we needed to be when we needed to be there. Every one was polite and friendly. Out trip was restful, fun and relaxing.

The room was very clean and modern and the front desk staff was very friendly. THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT TRIP IF THEY HAD PAID ATTENTION TO DETAIL. It was late when I checked in and after I showered and got in bed I discovered that the TV remote did not work..they fixed it the next day. The maid knocked on my door even though the do not disturb sign was out and scowled at me for turning her away. The hotel also owns the hotel next door which is where the guest laundry is located. When I attempted to ask that manager where the laundry was located, he held his hand out to sush me and continued with a personal phone call. I waited a few minutes and he never acknowledged me again. When I shhok my head and lef in disgust he made no effort to stop and help me....it was incredibly rude. I could have gotten better service at a budget motel.

Just a few downers. Poor breakfast, internet service was not working for most of the night and when it was finally fixed, it was real slow. I got stuck on the elevator between the second and third floor for about 5 minutes. Other than that, the staff was helpful, ok quiet and inexpensive place to spend one night when traveling for work. Not really what I would look for when vacationing.

the ceilings in the bathroom were discusting, you could see the yellow nicotine on the paint, the "wood" floors were dirty as well, first I noticed a sneaker print on the floor in front of the bathroom, so when I got done showering, I kept their white towel under my feet and shuffled across the floor to the bed, the towel was no longer white, glad I did not do that short walk barefoot, on the good side, the a/c kicked butt.( also the vending machine has condoms, there right next to the cheese crackers at eye level for a 6 year old child. )
